Alex's POV:
Finally I was done getting dressed up in my finest clothes just as my parents wanted.
Soon I came to the living room with my brother after mom called us.
When we got there, I saw a middle aged couple was sitting. The man was laughing and chatting with my dad.
Okay. I guess he's is the friend that my dad mentioned.
"I really don't wanna go." I let out a low voice
Jonas patted my back
"Be brave brother and face your reality. You are in trouble!" He said with a kinda happy expression
"You know..I really can't tell. Are you worried for me or happy that I'm in trouble?" I asked in confusion
"Both!" He squealed
I don't need enemies if I have a brother like that!

"You look beautiful dear!" My mom said as she came to me
"Mom? You are supposed to call me handsome!" I pouted and my mom just giggled
Shit! I hate these girly features of mine!
"Alex! C'mon greet your in laws now!" My dad gestured me to come to him
Honestly speaking, I wanted to run but couldn't do so unfortunately.
I had these invisible shackles on me.
I went near them
"Hello!" I greeted them with a smile
"Oh my! You are so good looking!" The lady squealed
"Thank you aunty." I said earning a chuckle from her
"Call me mother." She said
"Uh.. thank you mother." I corrected myself with a real awkward tone
"I must say you have quite a fine young man as your son." The man said to my dad
I just stared at my dad. He is the one who got me in this trouble.
He just gave me a glare back in return when he noticed me and I just averted my gaze.
I looked around. Their daughter is nowhere to be seen though..the one whom I'm gonna marry.
"If you are looking for our son then wait a little, he's just stuck in a work. He will be here soon." The lady said..oops sorry my would-be mother-in-law
I just nodded my head but just then a thought crossed my mind
Son? He? Don't tell me the person I am going marry is a guy!
"Uh..I am sorry but you said son." I wanted a confirmation
"Yes. Our son. The person whom you will be getting married to." The lady said
"WHAT?" I yelled out in shock
"Alex? Where are your manners?" My dad shouted at me
"But-" I was cut off my the lady
"Here he comes! Alex. c'mon meet your husband!" She said and the guy that walked into introduced himself to my dad
"Hello sir! I'm Zain Stephens!" He said

"Alex? C'mon say hello to him at least!" My mother said
But I'm way too shocked to even move or utter a single word.
Shit! This is the person I am going to marry?
No! This can't be happening! Someone please pinch me and wake me up from this bad dream.
