decided to make a one shot for this cutie

"HEY HEY HEY" the familiar voice was heard throughout the whole gym.
everyone started to stretch, ready for some peace and quiet until bokuto started to talk.
"hey hey hey we should go watch a movie tomorrow!" he chirped.
everyone started to run despite the fact that they just had practice, but bokuto grabbed two of the nearest people.
it ended being konoha and akaashi. the two teen boys sighed as they accepted the fact that they couldn't run away anymore.
"let's meet up at the train station at 2 okay?" bokuto yelled in excitement.
Next day~
"AKAAASHIIIII CAN WE PLEASE GO WATCH THIS?" bokuto screamed.
the ace pointed at the movie "wolf children" with excitement in his eyes.
"akaashi, we shouldn't let him watch this movie, he's gonna be a mess at the end." konoha said knowing that the captain will be a bother.
"i know, but you know he won't change his mind after deciding on something." the setter said.
the two boys sighed and entered the theater.
the theater was pretty packed and the three teens sat next to three girls which happened to be you and your friends.
your eyes met with bokutos and blushed.
you turned your head to your friends and mouthed,
'yo, alert, alert, hot dude next to me'
your friends immediately glanced at the captain. they nodded in agreement and mouthed back,
'yo he's so hot'
you were just about to respond until the theater got dark and the movie started to play.
[warning!!! spoilers ahead for wolf children!! if you do not want spoilers do NOT read!!! i have warned you! if you are going to skip this part just imagine a really sad scene from a sad movie. i will tell you when you can continue to read]
20 minutes in, you were so moved by the movie and started to tear up a bit. you adored how the main character fell in love. you glanced at the hot boy and noticed that he was already full on sobbing.
you heard him say,
"this is such a beautiful movie."
you internally giggled since you didn't expect such a buff and hot guy to be crying because of the movie.
another 10 minutes passed by and the wolf man had died.
now, you were full on sobbing. you let out all those tears and hiccups. you heard similar sounds from the seat next to you.
bokuto looked at you and you looked at bokuto. and then cried some more.
akaashi and konoha looked at bokuto in disappointment and your friends started to giggle.
by the end of the movie, you couldn't even see the screen with all your tears. the lights were back on and you wiped away your tears.
when you looked down, your hand was connected with bokutos.
you guys were holding hands, and you didn't even notice. when you were about to pull away, bokuto looked at you.
"THAT WAS SUCH A SAD MOVIE. WHY DID AME HAVE TO LEAVE." bokuto yelled, still crying.
you started to remember all the sad scenes and cried even more.
[okay people who skipped!! you're good now!! so basically you and bokuto cried a lot and held hands without even noticing bc that's how emotional bokuto is lmao]
you handed bokuto a tissue and he had to pull out a couple since he was basically a waterfall
"thanks for the tissues. what's your name by the way?" he said.
"(l/n) (f/n) what's yours?" you said sniffling.
"bokuto koutaro!!" he chirped. [what a bipolar little owl]
"wait aren't you the ace of fukuroudani?" you said.
"yeah! how'd you know?" he said with happiness
"i go to fukuroudani!! and i've heard of you before." you explained. bokuto gasped in excitement since he loves attention.
before bokuto could say anything he was pulled by his fellow teammates.
"bokuto-san stop bothering the girls, let's go." akaashi said pulling his captain from the collar from his shirt.
"AKAASHIIII WAIT I WAS TALKING TO HER." bokuto yelled.
konoha shook his head in disappointment and covered bokutos mouth.
Next day~
"akaashi do you think i can find (l/n)-chan? she said she goes here." the captain said after morning practice.
"yes, but please do it yourself." akaashi said not wanting to involve himself with his captains problematic actions. akaashi knew that bokuto would do something unnecessary just to find this girl.
"i should start finding her now." bokuto said with energy, leaving akaashi behind.
10 mins later.
"uhm (f/n), someone's yelling your name out in the halls." your friend came up with a weird face.
you tilted your head and peeked outside your classroom.
"(L/N) (F/N)-SAN PLEASE COME OUT IF YOU CAN HEAR ME."
you widened your eyes from the sight.
bokuto was yelling on top of his lungs running around the whole school.
"oh my god this is so embarrassing." you whispered. then you stepped out your classroom.
"u-uhm bokuto-san can i help you with something?" you said with a red face. everyone in the halls were looking straight at you.
"mmmm no reason!" he said confidently.
"e-eh?" you stepped back due to shock.
'just how random is he?' you thought.
"i was wondering if we could get to know each other more!" bokuto chirped.
"so, you yelled my name through the halls?" you said dropping a sweat. the ace nodded eagerly and gave you a bright smile.
"i was wondering if you wanna eat lunch together!" he said.
so the both of you ate lunch together and talked about hobbies and interests.
this continued for maybe 3 months and you guys were basically best friends.
when you started hanging out with him, you guys usually watched happy movies.
but this time he invited you over to watch wolf children again. you asked him why and he answered with,
"remember when we first met? when we both cried our eyes and you gave me tissues."
you giggled and nodded your head.
so you guys watched it from beginning to end and obviously you emotional teens were crying. your tears wouldn't stop and your hiccups kept coming out.
bokuto looked at you with his own tears and smiled a bit. you tried wiping away your tears but they just kept flowing out.
bokuto whispered your name and you faced him.
he leaned in and kissed your tears away.
you widened your eyes and blushed.
"b-bokuto?"
"how do you manage to look so pretty when you're crying?" he said with a sniff.
you blushed even more and hid your face. it was pretty embarrassing and you weren't used to his sweet words.
"s-stop saying embarrassing things." you whispered.
he pulled your hands away from your face and cupped your cheeks with his own hands.
"but it's the truth." he said with a smile. he leaned in closer and closer until his lips met yours.
"(f/n)-chan, will you go out with me?" he said, still grinning.
you slowly nodded and leaned in for another sweet kiss. he kissed back and pulled away.
"should we watch your favorite movie?" he said.
you nodded and snuggled into his neck.
"after we take a short nap." you whispered, drifting away to sleep.

"B-BOKUTO WHY DO YOU HAVE YOUR LOCKSCREEN OF ME CRYING." you yelled chasing him in the halls.
earlier that day, you saw his lock screen and it was a picture of you crying and the tv playing wolf children in the background.
"BECAUSE IT'S CUTE." the ace yelled back.
'what a precious couple, i hope they get married' everyone in the halls thought.

"bokuto-san, (f/n)-san, this is the 9th time you watched wolf children at my house this time." akaashi said while sighing a bit.
the two of you couldn't even respond since you were crying a whole water fall.
