trixie was sat on the centre of the bed, with one eye covered in a flowering purple bruise and a plaster covering her cheekbone. noticing katya, she looked up in shock, trying to turn to hide her injuries.
"what happened?" katya breathed, stepping closer and perching on the edge of the bed.
"i-i fell over," trixie responded, and katya shook her head, putting an arm around the younger girl's shoulders.
"what happened, trixie?" katya said calmly.
trixie sighed deeply, her breath hitching in her throat. "i got a new pin for my backpack with the pride flag on it and- and people werent happy."
katya clenched her jaw and bit her carefully painted lips. "who was it?"
"you won't know who they are. jay golding and harry mason?"
"i know them. harry is my friend's little brother, i wonder if she knows what her little brother and his friends are doing..."
before trixie could say anything, katya had her phone out, furiously texting.
