LAYLA'S POV:
I ran onto Ally's street, nearly tripping as I finally reached her house. I rushed up to the door and banged my small fists on it. there was no answer for several minutes and I tried again, but still the same thing. I jumped as the garage door opened and Luke's car pulled into the driveway.
They stepped out of the car, looks of distress on their expression. "Luke, Ally!" I said, making my way towards them.
"Layla!" their face lit up as they saw me. "we've been looking all over for you, where have you been?" Ally asked. "I, i" I couldn't find my voice.
"whatever, that doesn't matter right now, I'm just glad your safe," Luke wrapped me in a hug.
Then I remembered....
"Guys, something's wrong, very very wrong." I said. "where's this coming from?" Ally asked. "when's the last time you spoke to my mom?" I ignored her question.
"Just before you ran off, why?" she replied. "she could be in trouble, both her and my dad, I mean, Calum.." I told her. "get in the car," Ally said.
"wait," Luke said and we both froze. "where is this coming from Lay, how do you know something's wrong?" he raised an eyebrow. "Ashton told me," I answered truthfully.
"Ashton told you?" he laughed. "ya, why is that so funny?" I was starting to get mad.
"You need to drop this whole Ashton stuff, seriously" he said. "You think I'm making this up!" I snapped. "Layla, Ashton's dead, you can't talk to dead people, because they're dead, not alive" he said.
"So you think I'm crazy?" I asked. "no, I'm just saying that you have a wild imagination." He shrugged. "Luke," Ally warned. "so what exactly are you saying?" I wondered. "You want me to be honest?" he said and I nodded.
"You need to stop being such a child, you're thirteen years old. you claiming that you're seeing and talking to some guy that you barely know, and may I add, is dead, is extremely childish. Getting upset over something you probably will never under stand, its ridiculous Layla, and you need to grow up" he finished.
I felt the tears brimming in my eyes. "I don't know if this is something kids do for attention, if you're just trying to make a big deal out of nothing on purpose"
"LUCAS ROBERT HEMMINGS!" Ally snapped, cutting him off. "what?" he said. " In the house. NOW" she said sternly.
Dang, i think Ally is gonna whoop Luke's Ass.
