After Rydel brought me into the guest room I couldn't help but look around, I was looking all around until my eyes landed on a grand piano.
Omg I've always wanted to play on one of those pianos.
I ran over to where the computer was, sat down and started playing a melody.
Ross's POV:
I was walking down the hall to go to Riker's room to pick up my suit.
As I was walking I heard that beautiful voice again. Where is it coming from...
I stood and listened to hear the words...
???: Who do I call just to say what's up

As she's singing I begin to follow the voice.

After the melody stopped, I knocked on the door...
???: Um who is it?
Wow she sounds so nervous...
Ross: Um the name is Ross...
???: Okay, well I'm Laura and I'm getting dressed for the party...
Ross: Oh okay
That's all I could get out, and than I realised. wait she's coming to the party, I'll finally be able to meet her.
Their outfits for the party
Mark Lynch: Purple suit
Riker Lynch: Red suit
Rocky Lynch: Blue suit
Ellington Ratliff: Pink suit
Ross Lynch: Yellow suit
Ryland Lynch: Green suit
Stormie Lynch: Purple dress

All the boys got ready together. The ladies got together and helped each other with the finishing touches.
Together the guys went to the ballroom, except Ross he had to wait upstairs.
Shortly after the guys got downstairs, one by one the ladies made entrance.
Stormie entered and walked over to Mark, Rydel entered and walked to her brothers and Ratliff, than Laura joined them.
Rydel: Guys this is my friend Laura.
Everybody except Stormie: Hi Laura
Rydel: This is Riker, Rocky, Ellington, Ryland, and my dad. (she points to each so that Laura knows who is who)
Laura: Hello...
They all talk for about 15 to 20 minutes, when the announcer called for everyone's attention...
???: Attention everyone it is now time to introduce the Birthday Boy
Everyone starts to laugh or giggle.
???: Without further ado (a do) presenting Prince Ross.
Everybody: Happy 15th Birthday Prince Ross
Laura's POV:
Either I'm seeing things or Prince Ross doesn't seem to be too excited.
suddenly I feel a soft nudge in my side, I look to see who it was. I turn to see Rydel.
Rydel: (whispering) That's the brother I want you to be friends with, he's really lonely inside.
Laura: I've noticed that smile seems really forced..
So this is Ross, The one I'm to befriend in return for everything Rydel has done for me.. let's see how this goes...
30 minutes later
Ross' POV:
I decided to go join Rydel, she had some girl next to her that I didn't recognise.
I walk up to Rydel and just as I'm about to ask who the brunette is, she disappears.
Rydel: Hey Rossy, how are you feeling???
Ross: I've been better. I think I'm going to go outside in the court yard and get some air...
Rydel: Okay but don't be too long, Don't want mom looking for you...
I nod okay and head out...
-Court Yard-
As I head out to the court yard I hear that beautiful voice once again, but this time I know the voice as Laura. Man does she have a beautiful voice.
I stop to listen for a minute.
Laura: I can almost see it.

I moved closer which turned out to be a bad idea because she stopped singing when she heard movement.

Ross: Hi my name is Ross...
Laura: Oh you're that boy that was creeping outside of the room earlier...
Ross: --------
Laura: Well you could apologise for sneaking up on me you know...
Ross: (I don't think this girl knows I'm the Prince) I'm sorry it's just your voice is so beautiful I just wanted to enjoy it.
Laura: (Blushes from the compliment) Thank you, but I don't like when people sneak up on me. Who are you around here anyway.
Ross: I figured you didn't know... I'm the Prince...
Laura: ----
