I shook my head. “Youngmin… I… I love you too.” I said. I gathered all my courage to say that even if I know that there are people around us. “I love you so much. But I was afraid to show my feelings to you, so I kept it, even if I’m afraid that anytime now, it might surprise you. I’m a nerd, Youngmin. Can’t you see? I queer and I am not like you. How come you love me?” He stood up and looked at me. “Isn’t me loving you and showing you that I do, not enough?” He said. I shook my head. “I’m not like the other girls. He drew near me. “And eve if you can’t see how I see you… I love you.” I cried again. “I love you too, Youngmin.” Then he smiled. “I love you more, and there’s gotta be no way that you’re going to not love me. I’ll make you love me even more.” I playfully hit him and he was shocked. “YA! How can you hit me?” We laughed.
“So, can I be your boyfriend?” He blurted out seriously. I laughed. “Like, really, Youngmin? You still have to ask me that? As if I would say no?” I said with a hint of sarcasm. He laughed. “Yeah, I mean---wait, is that a yes?” I stopped. “No!” I said. He chuckled. “Nah, I just heard you said that, babe.” He said and I blushed in response. BABE. Babe? OHMYGOSH! YOUNGMIN!!!
We entered the hallway and people were staring at me. I don’t know why so I avoid their stares. Youngmin stopped and I continued to walk. Not minding what he’s up to.
“Starting from today, no one can bully my girl.” They gasped and I stood their frozen. “If you love me,” he said referring to the girls staring at him in disbelief, “love her, too. Hating her even more, makes me hate you all even more.” He said firmly. I felt footsteps drawing near me. He hugged me from the back. “And guys, stop staring at how beautiful she is, now because she’s mine.” He said landing his chin on my shoulders. “And mine alone.” He kissed my cheeks and let go. “C’mon babe, we might be late for class.” He said and held my hand tight and walked with me.
I saw Kwangmin, his twin and he saluted his brother. Youngmin stopped at him.
“Ya, I got her.” He said. I smiled. Kwangmin smiled. He showed us a box and he opened it so that we could see the ring. He smiled at us. “Just in case, she changes her mind and leave me.” He said.
“She might not leave you.” Youngmin said. “I’m not allowing her to.” Kwangmin said. I tsked.
“Kwangmin, you’re obsessed.” He nodded. “Just like your boyfriend.” He said looking over to him.
I smiled hinting him a plan. “C’mon babe, we might be late for class.” I said to Youngmin and winked. He groaned. “GUYS! You know that I can’t wink right?” He blurted and we both laugh. “It’s okay, babe. I still love you.” He smiled cheekily. “Let’s go, before ants gather around.” I tilted my head. “Why?” He drew his face near. “Because we’re too sweet.” He said and pecked my lips. My eyes widened in shock. HE JUST KISSED ME.
