Angel's POV
"You ready Love?" Axel asked as our hands intertwined.
"Y-yeah" I said nervously, I've always hated being the center. I knew we would probably have the whole schools attention when we walk in.
Axel kissed my knuckles softly reassuringly.
"Don't be scared,Babe he said "If anyone is messing with you just let me know".
I nodded in agreement, still nervous about what will happen.
We took a deep breath, then we walked in. Everybody who was taking suddenly stopped and looked at us.
Some people had shocked faces,some people stared in envy, mostly girls.
"Is that Axel with Angel!"
"OMG I'm so jealous, she's so freaking lucky!"
"Aww there're so cute together!"
"Eww since when did Axel downgrade for her."
I lowered my head down sadly, since she was kinda right.
Axel growled angrily at the rude comment, he stalked over to the girl, it was Ashley the 'it' girl of the school. Guys often drooled over her and girls wished they were her.
"What the F**k did you say!?" Axel growled at her.
"Nothing baby" she lied "I was just joking"
"Don't F**king lie to me you whore!, I know what you said, and as your Alpha I demand you apologize to my beautiful mate!"
Ashley tried to keep a straight face, but I knew she was scared just like everyone around us.
"Sorry" she mumbled to me
"It's okay" I said
Ashley and her group of 'barbies' sashayed off, but when Axel wasn't looking she turned around and glared at me.
'If looks could kill I would be dead '. I thought
"You okay Babe?" he asked with a concerned look on his face.
"I'm fine, but don't you think you went a bit overboard. I asked
"I'm sorry, I just can't stand it when someone disrespects my mate.
"I understand, and thanks for defending me, but promise me you won't be go overboard again."
"I promise" he said then we kissed sweetly.
Pretty soon everybody in school found out that Axel, the tough sexy bad boy was mates with Angel the shy quiet girl that people don't give a second glance to.
Everybody was also taking about how Axel yelled at Ashley for insulting me.
"Angel, you and Axel are the talk of the school right now!" Kayla yelled in a cheery voice.
"I know" I blushed
"Hey beautiful mate, hey Kayla." A smooth voice said.
An arm wrapped around my waist, followed by a kiss on the cheek.
It was Axel.
"Hi Mate", I said.
"Aww you two are just so adorable! Though I think I'll have to give you 'the talk' Axel!" she giggled
I blushed for the second time,but Axel remained his cool though.
"Your probably right Kayla, It is sometimes hard to control myself when I'm around my beautiful mate.
My mouth fell open shocked, did Axel really find me 'that' attractive?
Kayla giggled again when she got the
'Message'.
We all started to walk to English, until Axel pulled me aside.
"What is it?" I asked
"I really want to show you something and I can't wait after school."
"B-but we can't ditch school!" I whispered-yell.
"Come on please for me?" he said with a cute pouty face I couldn't say no to.
"F-Fine, but only this once!" I said.
He smiled and he gently grabbed my hand and we sneaked out the school.
"Where are we going, I asked him
"It's a surprise." he said
"Aww man!" I yelled
He chuckled and pulled me close to him and kissed me.
"Don't worry, you'll love it."
I knew Kayla and Cory were probably wonder where I was, I've always been a goodie-two shoes so they will freak once I told them I ditched school.
"We're almost there Babe, Axel said snapping me out of my thoughts.
