"No, it's me they're after. Please, don't leave me." I pleaded. The townspeople now know that I am a witch and are currently trying to break into my castle.
"I have to go." he said as the people broke down the doors of the foyer. "I love you." he kissed me then walked out of my bedroom and locked the door behind him.
Several long minutes passed. My servants bound me in chains in this room a few hours ago. They were the ones that told my secret. After a while, the door opened yet again. I was hoping to see only my beloved, but instead it was the townspeople carrying an almost dead version of him.
My heart broke into a million pieces right there. My body filled with anger and that's not a good thing. If I get overly angry, I lose control. My inner beast takes over and I black out. I do my best to control it. The only person who's ever been able to stop my anger is him.
And that's when I blacked out and the beast took over.

When I regain consciousness, I am kneeling by him, I take one look at his almost dead body. His heart is beating so slow that I know he has a few more moments left. Seeing him like this made me mad. I can't get mad. I try to calm down, but I can't.
I feel the beast taking over but this time, I don't black out. I am 100% awake but I have no control over my body.
I call upon my powers and start the spell. "Unus accessit, nec incantator, nec qui novissimum casum. Animam meam, et venite ad me: et innocentem. Unum ultimum rei." The words are in Latin.
I don't do evil magic, but the beast inside me, makes me. I look into the mirror.

The glowing purple eyes that haunt me every time I go to sleep. That is the beast.
