"So what are we gonna do with this kid?" Monoma asked, they were all in Chris's house discussing what to do with the kid they brought back. They all look into the room she was in & saw her playing around with Captain & Dawn, who were in their original forms
"While Chris-san is on babysitter duty, Neito-kun, Hitoshi-kun & Chiyo-san will try to find some info on this kid while the rest of us try & find out why the hell those thugs had a child with them."
"Shouldn't Hitoshi be the one trying to get that info out of the thug? His quirk is meant for something like that." Hiruma shook her head
"I know, but both he & Neito-san almost share the same intellectual as Chris-san." she nodded her head at that
"That is true." she then sighed as she ran a hand through her hair "But I'm not sure if Eri-chan actually likes me, I think I intimidate her." they all look at her

"Who are you?" they look back into the room & Chris gasped when she saw Devion staring at Eri with an intense look "How did you get in the house?"

"Don't harm Eri-chan, Dev-chan!" Chris hurriedly rushed over to them, she protectively stood in front of Eri as she held her hands up in front of Devion
"Calm brother! Her name is Eri, she's staying with us until we find out who her parents are!" she looked back at her & saw she was shaking in fear with Captain & Dawn protectively guarding her "Are you alright, my dear?" she shook her head in fear
"... s-scary man!" she glared at Devion
"Seriously brother?! Come on, she's just a child!"

"Because I brought her here you moron!" she felt the temperature rise so she took a deep breath to calm herself "Until we find out who her family is, she's staying here. You better be nice to her whenever I'm not around, or the other two." they both glare at each other but were interrupted when they heard a clap
"Okaaay! I don't know what's going on & I clearly don't like it!" she pursed her lips as she looked over at Biyuko "Heyo, you must be Devion! I am Biyuko Kotarou! One of Christian's friends!"

"Alright." Chris sighed as she shook her "Is he always like that?"
"He usually gets like that when I yell at him. He's very moody."
"Reminds me of someone." Chris glared at Hiruma who snorted, she suddenly felt a small tug so she turned around but looked down when she realized it was Eri
"Is he mad because of me...?" she blinked before sighing softly & kneeling down, she pats her head
"Oh no, like I said... he gets like that when I yell at him, & I don't always yell at him unless I get really peeved off." she picks Eri up & holds her in her arms
"Aw~ she's so cute! Now I kinda wanna look after her!" she pokes her tongue at him

"You bastard. Well, bye bye Eri-chan! I gotta get home, its already so late!" the others nod
"You should put her to sleep as well, Jitami. Its not right for a kid to be up this late." Shinsou said
"Alright, get home safe guys!"
"Oh we will!" she looked at Eri just as she heard them shut the door
"So, you tired?" she shyly nodded "Alright, where would you like to sleep honey?"
"With you... I don't like being alone." Chris blinked before laughing softly
"Alright, anything for you!" she made it to her room & she sat her down on her bed "Luckily I have some of my old clothes here, so you don't have to sleep in that." Eri looked down at what she was wearing before looking up at Chris again "Okay, arms up." she got Eri to change into different clothes & a soft smile appeared on her face
"Those look a bit too big on her, Mama." she looks over & sees Captain stroll in with Dawn following close behind, she also noticed a tiny smile grew on Eri's face when they walked in
"I was still a big kid when I was her age." KAREN then appeared
"That, you were."
"Should I be taking that as an insult?" she shrugged
"Maaybe."
"I am offended." she laughed lightly as she shook her head "Alright Eri-chan, time for bed." she nodded her head & let Chris tuck her in, when she was in Chris leaned down & kissed her forehead "Sleep tight, my dear. I'll be back, I just need to talk with Dawn." she looks at Captain "Keep her safe while I'm away." he nodded
"Okay." she hummed before walking out of the room, the door automatically closing behind her, with a sigh she leaned against the door
"What am I gonna do with D? I want Eri-chan to feel comfortable & safe in this house but with how Devion is right now... I-I don't know what to do with him." Dawn sighs too as she crossed her wings
"I'll convince him that Eri-chi is a very nice little girl, to which she definitely is! We all love her to bits!" Chris smiles at her
"Thank you, Dawn. I'll owe you." she shook her head
"There's absolutely no need, he just needs to see that she's a total sweetheart." they both hug before going back to their rooms, what Chris saw made her heart melt
"Aw~ you two are so cute together..." she whispered, Eri had her eyes closed with Captain curled up (in his dog form) close to her. She changed into her PJs (a singlet & shorts) & got into bed, she held Eri close to her & used her quirk to provide her with more warmth

"Hmm...?" she looked down & saw Eri awake "Why what?"
"Why are you being so nice to me? You could've left me there, but you didn't. So I'm asking you why you didn't."
"Well, it's my job as a hero to--"
"But what if you aren't a hero? Would you still do it?"
"Well of course! No child should be put in danger. I know we just met, but you already hold a special place in my, Captain, Dawn & the other 7's heart! We love you so dearly, sweetness." she sighed softly when she saw her tear up, she wiped away the tear that ran down her cheek "Oh baby don't cry! Its okay, its okay." she let out an oof when Eri suddenly hugged her
"Thank you...! Thank you so much! You've already given me so much then you could think of!" Chris didn't hesitate to hug her back, protectively embracing the small child
"Your welcome, Eri-chan." she kissed the top of her head "Now, its time for some sleep, no?"
"Okay..." she didn't let go when she drifted to sleep, that made Chris very happy. Devion sighed before leaning away, he just can't believe that he got angered by a child, he's jealous that this Eri stole Chris's love, affection & attention in just a few seconds... she feel in love with this child
"Maybe I should apologize, though she might still be angry with me..." he slid down until he was on his knees "What the hell am I like this to the people I love...?"
(Meanwhile)
"Not only did they lose too children that work for the No. 2 hero, but they also lost Eri. That kid this afternoon already got suspicious when she ran into him, that was a problem but now its gotten even bigger." Kurono Hai, a villain with a quirk & villain name called Chronostasis, said "This day just keeps getting better & better."
"They were also taken into custody. One of those brats that work for Micro has a quirk that brain washes people." he clicked his tongue "Who would've thought that that fucking Shigaraki was right!" Irinaka Joi, also known as Mimic with a quirk called Mimicry, yelled
"Oh but we shouldn't worry, we know where she is so all we have to do is, maybe a little bargaining." he had an evil look in his eyes "Besides, we are the Shie Hassaikai! Whoever gets in our way will feel our wrath!" Chisaki Kai, though her prefers to go by Overhaul, that also being the name of his quirk "We'll get her back, even if it means spilling someone's blood."

(Next Day)
"Whoa!" Chris chuckled when she saw literal stars surround Eri when she flipped a pancake up in the air, she spun around & caught it in the pan with her back to it & also her eyes closed "That's amazing, Chris-san!"
"Why thank you, Eri-chan!" as she set the pancakes on a plate & put a swirl of whip cream on the top with also a strawberry, Devion walked "Good morning brother! Have a good sleep?" she sighed when he let out a grunt
"I guess." she turned away just as he began eyeing Eri down, this caused her to shift in her seat
"You better not be glaring at her oh so help me I will--"
"I'm not!" she quickly turned around & held a spatula to his throat
"You BETTER not be, or I swear I will make you regret it." he held up his hands in defense, Chris looked down when she felt Eri tug on her arm
"P-Please don't fight... your siblings." they both give her an apologetic look, Chris hummed when she saw that look in Devion's eyes
"I'm sorry my dear, let's just eat, yeah?" she nods, she looks at Devion "You hungry? I think there's still some batter left." he nodded his head

"You stuttered, egg." he huffed to which she laughed "Do you have that internship today brother? If so, good luck." he shrugged
"I'm not sure. After what happened yesterday with that bullet incident, Fatgum-san instructed us to take today off to recover from what could've been something traumatic." she nodded
"It frightens me, that someone made a bullet that can... you know." she then nudges her head at Eri, he nodded
"Of course." she raised an eyebrow when she saw Devion look at Eri before grabbing a napkin & wiping away the cream that was smeared on her cheek

"No problem." he looks at Chris & jumped a bit when he saw her with a smug look "W-What...?!"
"I saw that." he growled & looked away, she laughed as she set a plate of pancakes in front of him "Anyways, I was thinking since its still the weekends, we can go shopping." the two look up at her
"For what?" Eri asked, she smiled & pointed at her "Me?"
"Of course! I don't want you to get bored when we're at school & I don't want you wearing my old clothes." with that being said Eri looked down at the clothes she was wearing, soon enough Captain & Dawn popped up
"Can we tag along, Mama?!"
"Of course, but you stay in your normal forms & you don't say a word, human words that is." they salute
"Aye aye!" she looks at Eri & sees she was looking at the duo before slowly lifting her arm up to salute
"Aye..." this made the twins crack up

The twins watched as Eri excitedly looked over the many clothes that were in the store they were in, Chris snorted when she saw her staring intensely at a cat t shirt with a white thrilled skirt & a purple & white stripped leggings with a matching undershirt, she whipped her head back to them & gave Chris kitty cat eyes
"Hehe, is that what you want?"
"Yes!"
"Okay okay, calm down now." she grabbed the clothes before taking her to a fitting room "Devion & I will be waiting just over there, when your done we'd like to see you in your outfit." she nods her head
"Okay!" & with that she rushed into the fitting room, Chris let out a laugh before flopping backwards onto the couch, where Devion was sitting
"So brother." he looks at her "You gonna tell me why you've been salty whenever you see Eri-chan with me?" she heard him gulp
"Whatever do you mean?"
"Well I don't know, you've been glaring at her sometimes then your being sympathetic with her!" she pinched the bridge of her nose "Do you like her or not? I need to know."
"... I don't know."
"Well you better know soon or else I'll have your head, literally." she hummed in dissatisfaction as she leaned back into the couch"I just don't see why you don't like her, she's just a child."
"It's just that even a child can't be trusted, with the environment I grew up in... I'm a little superstitious with even a kid." she rolls her eyes before closing them
"Well don't be, she's fragile." she then opened them

"Chris-san! Devion-san! Look look!" they both look over & it felt like millions of arrows shot through their hearts when they saw her "H-How do I look?"
"Like an angel..." they both mutter, they both look at each other "You look fantastic!" she suddenly giggles, which then makes more arrows shoot through their hearts
"That's cool how you two talk like that!" they were silent as she literally shun brighter than the sun

"Yes yes, definitely." when she saw Eri turn away she headbutt Devion
"& also make up your mind if you like her or not dipshit!" he weakly gave her a thumbs up as he held his now bloody nose, few moments later & Eri was wearing her new clothes with a bright smile as she held onto Chris's hand, in Chris's other hand held the leash that was connected to Captain's collar, who was happily leading the way. Dawn was comfortably perched on Devion's shoulder while he also held bags of clothes, food, toys & other things
Eri looked at Devion's hand & reached to grab it but saw that he was carrying those bags, her smile faltered as she grabbed the him of his coat. He felt this so he looked down & saw her looking sad, with a huff he put all the bags in his other hand & reached back, Eri saw his free hand so with an excited gasp she grabbed it. Chris looked down & a happy smile made its way to her face, she then got an idea & started swinging her back & forward, Devion felt this & started doing the same
'This is the most precious moment in my life!' Christian thought, Devion hummed
'I guess Chris is right, maybe I shouldn't be so cautious around a fragile little girl... but I can't help but think I... know her.'
