My blue dress,
So light and thin.
It rubs so softly on my skin.
My blue dress.
The color of the sea.
A color so deep it swallows me.
My blue dress.
Made by small fairy hands.
And the fragments of a wonderland.
My blue dress.
Made of silk.
Softer then the finest silk.
My blue dress.
Glittering like flecks of dew.
Glimmering so many a hue.
My blue dress.
Falls in pretty folds.
And in my hands the skirt I hold.
My blue dress.
It cloaks me still.
I pray that it always will.
