its goal was to slice at your heart, but before it could finish ripping at the material you wore, natasha shoved the staff into its back, being careful not to accidentally stab you.
the alien shrieked, falling over and dying in the dirt.
nat helped you up, and you smirked at her.
"thanks," you said.
natasha had a small grin on her face. "yeah well, can't have you dying on me."
"of course not, you'd miss me too much," you retorted, grabbing your weapon once more to help the others.
as you ran off, nat chuckled. "you're definitely, not wrong."
