We had a few rest days, and most of the members already made plans, most including dragging me along with them.
"Iseul, let's go get lunch!" Jun said to me one afternoon. He was following me around and pleading like a little kid, so how could I say no?
"Fine! Where do you want to go?"
"I want to go get spicy food!" Jun exclaimed excitedly. Seriously, how was he two-and-a-half years older than me?
"Do you have a favorite place in mind?" I asked. He nodded, and I said,
"Let's go get a taxi then!"
Jun and I left the dorm and went to his favorite hotpot restaurant in Seoul. We sat down and he ordered us our meal. While we were waiting, the inevitable topic of Wonwoo came up.
"So, you scored yourself a boyfriend, huh?" Jun teased, poking my arm, a mischievous grin spreading across his face
"I guess I did.." I said, blushing a bit. While I was super close to the other members, I still wasn't used to talking with any of them about Wonwoo and I's new relationship.
"I need more details, Iseul-ah!" Jun practically yelled, poking me a bit harder.
"God, you are such a child." I mumbled, rolling my eyes, but I couldn't help but smile.
"Uh-huh!" He agreed, smiling like a little boy. It was obvious that he wouldn't stop pestering me until he got the information he wanted.
"So, what do you want to know?" I gave in, and Jun's already excited expression grew even more.
"Everything! Start from the beginning. Who liked who? Who confessed? Was there even a confession? How far have you gotten? Has he told you that he loves you yet-" He rambled. I almost had to slap him to get him to stop talking.
"Okay, okay. I'll talk. I don't think either of us fell for each other right away, since neither of us believe in love-at-first-sight.." I started
"You two are depressing.." Jun said, frowning a bit. I slapped his arm and asked,
"Yah, do you want to hear the rest or not?"
"Yes, very much!"
"Okay. I think our feelings just sort of grew for each other over time. I stsrted to like him after a few weeks, but I didn't admit it to myself, or anyone else, for that matter. Wonwoo realized his feelings and admitted it to himself first, and he talked about it with Mingyu and Jihoonie, as I'm sure you heard."
He nodded, his eyes fixated on mine, taking in every word I was saying.
"So one night, Wonwoo, Jihoon, and I stayed late at Pledis. Wonwoo had recording to do, and I just wanted to stick around. Anyways, when he was done recording, Jihoon asked Wonwoo to stay for a little while longer, and I insisted on staying with him. We went up to the roof-"
"And you guys did the dirty on the roof!" Jun exclaimed. I punched him in the arm in response.
"No, you pervert. We sat together and read for a while. I finished my book and started reading Wonwoo's book over his shoulder-"
"Then you guys made out on the roof!" Jun yelled again, but I didn't do any thing in response. I only shifted my glance slightly away, causing Jun to break into a huge smile.
"Yah, so you guys made out on the roof! Who started that?"
"..me. But, it wasn't really making out, it was just a kiss." I mumbled, looking away and fidgeting with the hem of my shirt.
"No way! So, you just kissed Wonwoo and that was that?"
"Pretty much"
"I'm so proud of my Iseul!" Jun exclaimed, poking my hand
"Shut up" I muttered while glaring at Jun, causing him to giggle. When he calmed down, he looked into my eyes, this time not playfully.
"In all seriousness though, I just want you to be happy, Iseul. It's what you deserve. Wonwoo is an amazing person, and I know that you two will be great together."
"Thank you, Jun. That means a lot"
He smiled and squeezed my hand before our hotpot arrived. We started eating, still keeping a conversation going.
"So, how is The Collaboration going so far?" I asked about the show he and Minghao were filming in China.
"It's really good! I'm having so much fun with it. It's so nice to be able to preform stuff on my own and show a bit more of my style." He said, smiling.
"So, who do you want to work with?"
"Yah, you know I can't talk about that, Iseul!" He said, poking my arm.
"I can try to get it out of you, can't I?" I teased, poking him back.
"All I will say is everyone is really nice, so I would gladly work with any of them. But, seeing Samuel again for the first time in so long had to be one of my favorite parts so far."
"I almost forgot about Samuel! How old is he now? I remember Jihoon talking about him a while ago."
"He's 17 now!"
"Really?! I forget how young he is.."
"I sometimes do too, but he will always be my baby brother" Jun said, a sweet expression on his face.
We talked for a little while longer, but my tongue started burning from how spicy the hotpot was.
"Yah, Jun, this is so spicy!" I exclaimed, reaching for my precious glass of water.
"You've already done better than I was expecting. Not many people can handle as much spice as I can.."
I glared at him while taking a sip of my water. He giggled, and continued eating.
"Okay, I'm done" I announced while leaning back into my chair, feeling some pain in my throat from the intensity of the flavor.
"Did you have enough to eat?" Jun asked, but I had thought of a plan.
"I'm still a bit hungry, but I think some ice cream would be good.." I murmured, seeing Jun's classic boyish grin appear.
"Let's stop at the convenience store and get some for everyone back at the dorm on the way home!"
"Sounds good!"
Jun finished up, and we started walking to the nearby convenience store. We stopped and bought 15 ice-cream cones; one for everyone and then one extra. I texted the group chat,

"Hey, they kicked me out!" Jun pouted, earning a shove off of the sidewalk from me.
"Yah, you should probably learn to deal with my constant teasing because you and Wonwoo are in for a ton of it!" He rebutted, rubbing where I had shoved him.
"What could you possibly tease us about?"
"Oh please, one of my best friends and my groupmate doing it? I have to do some teasing.." he said, making my face heat up.
"Oh, well you can't tease us because we haven't done that yet, you pervert!"
"Seriously? You two haven't done it yet?" Jun asked, clearly a bit shocked.
"Of course not. We haven't even been together for 2 weeks!"
"Well, you both are young and gorgeous, so if I were you-"
"I would stop talking right now, Wen Junhui." I said, shoving him off of the sidewalk again.
"Yah, you don't even know what I was going to say!" He whined.
"I have a pretty good guess, and I didn't want to hear it."
"You were probably right.."
I looked up at Jun and nodded, causing him to giggle a bit.
"Come on, Iseul. Do you forgive me?" He pouted, wrapping his arms around my shoulders from the side and sticking his bottom lip out.
"God, you are such a child.." I sighed, but I couldn't help but laugh when Jun stuck his bottom lip out even further.
"Fine, fine! I forgive you. I can't stay mad at you for long. But stop being such a pervert!" I scolded, causing Jun to smile and pull away from me.
We made it back to the dorm and went up to the 2nd floor living area to find Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Vernon, Mingyu, and Wonwoo waiting for our arrival.
"Ice cream!!" DK shouted as soon as we walked in, jumping up and running over to Jun and I, trying to grab at the bag Jun was holding.
"I'm sure any girl you can get to date you in the future would love being greeted like that." I said sarcastically, earning some snickers from the sitting members.
Dokyeom ignored me and picked out a strawberry ice-cream cone from the bag.
"Let's all go to the balcony!" DK shouted as he ran out the door and to the elevator. Jun gave me the bag of ice cream and ran after him. I heard them gleefully shouting as their heavy footsteps rang through the hall.
Mingyu sighed and stood up, then calmly walked over to the bag, picking out a vanilla cone. He cooly walked out the door, but then started running to catch up with Jun and DK. He thought he was being sly, but he forgets that he has very heavy steps.
"I guess I should keep an eye on the children.." Seungcheol said, getting up and pulling Hansol up with him.
Then, Jeonghan, Joshua, and Wonwoo all stood up and we left the apartment to head to the elevator. Joshua had his arm around Jeonghan's waist, and when Wonwoo noticed the other affectionate couple, he slid his hand into mine.
We were the last ones up to the balcony, and when we walked out, Dokyeom yelled,
"Aww, look at the couples being adorable!"
Wonwoo reached for a pillow and threw it at Dokyeom, who in response yelled,
"Dude, don't hit my ice cream! That's just cruel!"
I laughed, and said, "Okay, take what you want, but please save some for the other members."
"Even Hoshi?" Jun asked jokingly, to which I responded,
"Yes, even Hoshi."
Jun let out a fake sigh of disappointment, and took a bite of his cone.
Wonwoo must have noticed that I didn't get any ice cream, because when he came back to our chair, he had a vanilla cone for himself, and a strawberry one for me.
"Thank you, Wonwoo" I said while smiling. Wonwoo smiled back, and sat down next to me.
"You guys are the cutest" Hansol said to us sincerely, making Wonwoo blush. He buried his face in my shoulder, and all of the members shouted,
"Aww!"
Then I started to blush too, so I changed the subject to something I had been meaning to ask the group about.
"Okay, so would you guys mind if two of my friends stayed with us for a few days? They can sleep in my room and use my bathroom, so they wouldn't bother you."
"I don't think it would be a problem. Who will be staying over?" Seungcheol asked.
"Two of my classmates. They just graduated and are moving to Seoul for university. They booked a flight here from Busan for the 20th, but there is some delay with their apartment, and it won't be ready until the 25th. They shouldn't be here for longer than a week."
"Sounds good! I'm looking foward to meeting your friends." Seungcheol said, and the other members nodded in agreement.
"There is one problem though. My bed can only fit two people, and I don't want to stick one of them out in the living area on their own. Can I let them have my room, and I sleep in the living area?"
"As long as you're okay with that, it's fine"
"Thanks, Seungcheol!" I said, and he smiled in appreciation.
We continued to eat our ice cream. Everyone was laughing and joking around, and DK was acting like a crackhead, as usual.
Since we were in a heat wave and it was 35°, some of the members took off their shirts to cool off. I could feel Wonwoo's grip tighten around my waist as he pulled me in closer to him.
"Hey" I whispered to him. He looked down at me and I continued,
"You have nothing to worry about. These guys are like my brothers, but you're my boyfriend. I'm all yours"
He smiled and leaned in, giving me a light peck on my lips. I could taste his vanilla ice cream, and I loved it.
"Eww, Wonwoo has cooties!" DK shouted, causing everyone else to laugh. Wonwoo, however, shouted and threw a pillow from our chair at him, again.
"Okay, serious question. How does the concept of cooties apply to the gays? Because, I don't know if Joshua and I have cooties since we're two dudes who make out.." Jeonghan asked the group.
"Hmm, that's a very good question.." Seungcheol said, clearly deep in thought.
The guys all sat around, pondering the question, when Wonwoo and I finished our ice cream.
"You guys are ridiculous" I stated, snickering a bit.
"We seriously have no idea!" Jun stated and everyone shouted in agreement.
I jokingly rolled my eyes, then I laid back into Wonwoo while we waited for everyone else to finish their ice cream.
After more arguing, everyone finally finished and we went back inside to enjoy the rest of our day off.
Days like this were so wonderful, and it made me think about how lucky I was to have these guys by my side. The death of my parents completely destroyed me, but in the 4 months since the tragedy, I've hit the lowest of lows, and the highest of highs. I can feel myself getting better with every passing day, and while the boys have helped me immensely, I've been recovering on my own, and it's an amazing feeling.
