Pirates And Pizza
Because he had no living quarters, one of the employees at the pizzaria offered Megatron a place to stay while he had the nightguard job. Not exactly wanting to disappoint her after the night he had, he accepted, and got some sleep (and something to eat - he had just realized he was practically starving).
He arrived early (at least 11:30 PM) and went straight to the office - but he felt the Animatronics watching him, which caused him to shiver violently.
"Why do I keep coming back?" He muttered to himself as his eyes glanced at the animatronics on his monitor, he had goosebumps already. He already saw two of the animatronics yesterday, the rabbit and the chicken; The other two he was still yet to meet, the bear and whatever was hiding in Pirate's Cove.
Soon enough the clock struck 12am and his shift had started and off course, he was greeted with another pre-recorded voice message:
"Uhh, Hello? Hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses. Uhh, it might be a good idea to peek at those cameras while I talk just to make sure everyone's in their proper place. You know..."
"I don't know if it's good thing I've made it this far-"He sighed but then something clicked in his head "Wait... They become more active as the week goes on?!" He began to feel queasy, his face went more pale. This was not what he wanted to hear at all! He pulled up his monitor and had saw both the rabbit and chicken leave... he scanned to Cam 1c, he saw a giant fox peer out. He flinced and put the camera back down.
"What the-" Megatron yelled, he had never seen him before. In honesty, it kind of frightened him.
"Uh... Interestingly enough, Freddy himself doesn't come off stage very often. I heard he becomes a lot more active in the dark though, so, hey, I guess that's one more reason not to run out of power, right? I-I also want to emphasize the importance of using your door lights. There are blind spots in your camera views, and those blind spots happen to be right outside of your doors. So if-if you can't find something, or someone, on your cameras, be sure to check the door lights. Uh, you might only have a few seconds to react... Uh, not that you would be in any danger, of course. I'm not implying that. Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique in that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sure you have everything under control! Uh, talk to you soon."
"Oh great- Death is more closer than yesterday..." Megs sighed "I do not have anything under control"
It wasn't long before one turned up, this time it was the chicken. Megatron slammed the door quickly, he heard a weird noise come from the other side.
"Hey what gives!!" A female voice cried "All you nightguards are the same-"
"Who's there!" He jumped, he thought somebody was here, somebody human that is-
"You just saw me! You just slammed the damn door in my face!" She growled.
"No... that's-" He stuttered but her realized that it was the chicken who was talking to him.
"Well are you even gonna apologize! Or do I have to get Foxy to beat your ass!" She hissed as she banged against the door.
"Alright! Alright! if I open this door, you won't kill, right?" Megs asked calmly as his hand shook over the door switch.
"I will do if you don't-" She responded.
Gently, he pressed the button and the door opened to reveal a tall bird animatronic standing there looking rather pissed off at him. She barged into the office looking around then looking directly at him.
"So..." She said.
"I'm... sorry for slamming the door in your face." Megs stammered, he was trying to keep himself calm.
"No worries- I'm Chica. Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Megatron." He responded giving a slight friendly smile.
Chica stared at him after he said his name.
"... That... doesn't sound human..." She commented quietly.
Now that Megatron thought about it, his name did sound odd to some humans...
"It's not human." He retorted. "But then again I didn't know animatronics acted human..."
"Technically, we don't." Chica rolled her eyes. "... Normally."
"What's the exception then?" He asked.
"... Freddy doesn't trust you yet." Chica told him simply before turning to leave.
"And you think I trust you, you want to kill me!" Megs protested.
Chica paused, turning a bit to glance at him with sadness.
"... If only you knew." She murmured. "... Watch out for Foxy."
She walked off.
"Foxy?" He repeated.
Wait a minute... wasn't that the animatronic fox?
And the camera was off of him...
Which meant...
Oh no.
"Shit... shit shit" Megs scurried to the camera and saw the large animatronic fox run down the hallway, coming after him!
Without even thinking, he closed the door just before the fox reached it. Seconds later, he heard a loud clang as the fox collided with the door.
"Arrrgh, open up you stinking landlubber!" A pirate voice yelled from the other side.
"If you're gonna kill me, then no!" Megatron replied loudly, not realizing he had a note of fear in his voice.
"Who said I wanted to kill ye?" He asked with a slight smirk in his voice. "But if ye fear me that much..."
Megatron paused and thought about that, shivering. Finally, he slowly reached over to open the door, silently praying Foxy wouldn't hurt him.
"It's good to see ye lad, Chica has told me a lot about ye." He grinned, making himself at home in the office.
Megatron took a couple of steps back - and then tripped over the chair.
"AI!"
The sound he let out almost sounded like an animatronic screech - just more human. He fell onto his back, his hat falling off as well.
"Ow..." He muttered.
"Now what was that for, lad?" Foxy asked, looking at him rather strangely.
"Sorry, just... not used to talking animatronics." Megatron admitted, getting up and rubbing his head. "Let alone one that's... alive..."
That was one way of putting it...
"Alive indeed, lad... I'm sure you've met Chica and Bonnie already, right?" He questioned, gazing at him.
"Bonnie... Sort of." Megatron looked at the poster over the desk. "Chica... Yes."
"You best keep your eye of her though. And Bonnie is a nice lad... when he wants to be. What about Freddy?" Foxy asked.
"Only saw his eyes." Megatron replied, remembering the first night as he picked up his hat.
"Freddy... you'll like him" Foxy winked. "Since ye two haven't met yet."
"IF he decides not to tear my head off..." Megatron shivered at the thought.
"Arrgh, he shouldn't, considering we yet haven't." Foxy chuckled.
Megatron realized he had a point and nodded, finally managing to calm himself fully.
"Ye, don't mind me friends being in here as well, do ye?" He asked, slowly lifting up his eye patch to take a better look at him.
"Well... As long as you don't kill me..." Megatron suddenly noticed Foxy was examining him. "Um... What's with the stare? Is it what I'm wearing?"
"They shouldn't." Foxy chuckled. "Me? Staring? I was just curious about ye, that's all!"
"... Suuure, then why'd you have that look that suggested I didn't fit in?" Megatron raised a brow curiously.
"Well, firstly, ye don't even look like you work here!" Foxy told him.
"Knew it, it's what I'm wearing..." Megatron muttered. "Secondly... You want to get to know me. Right?"
"Of course, lad, but ye work here, right?" Foxy smirked, turning the tables back onto Megatron.
"Honestly, I don't know how I got here." Megatron admitted. " But since I'm here, then yeah, I work here... I guess. "
"Well then, lad, we'll get you looking ship shape in no time." Foxy smiled at him.
Megatron rubbed his hair for a moment, then finally decided something. So that the other employees wouldn't suspect...
"Um, while I'm here..." He asked. "Can you tell Chica and the others to call me Matthew?"
"Uhhh sure.... may I ask why?" He asked, almost squinting at him.
"I don't want the day employees to get suspicious if they knew my name was Megatron." Megatron shrugged.
"Yeah, now ye say it, it's an odd human name" Foxy nodded. "Matthew suits ye well."
Megatron actually blushed a little at that, then smiled.
"Well... I guess I made a couple of friends tonight?" He asked sheepishly.
"Yarrg, of course ye have!" He giggled.
Megatron actually laughed a little. He never had friends before admittedly.
And for once, he was happy.
"Ye sound happy, just what we like to hear at old Freddy Fazbear's!" Foxy chuckled smiling at him.
"Yeah." Megatron smiled back.
He looked at the camera and saw the bear animatrinic on stage - somehow knowing it was Freddy. He turned back to Foxy.
"So what do I need to do to fit in?"
