Morning 8:00 am.
Entering into the cabin with a rough and tough demeanour I slammed his coffee cup.He looked up at me but without giving him a glance I sat on my chair.
I had came to office without meeting appa because I don't wanted him to get worried seeing my swollen eyes and puffed red cheeks.
Opening the pending file of yesterday I started completing it.I know he was staring at me continuously,trying to gauge my mind state.
He cleared his throat,trying to get my attention but I sat like a dumb and deaf totally. "Kal jo..."Before he could say something I took out my cell and after connecting ear phones to it I plugged them in my ear.
With the corner of my eyes I noticed him clenching his jaws and squeezing his eyes tight with curled fists.
I started doing my work again when suddenly I heard a loud sound.Though my earphones were on but the audacity of that sound was too loud that I heard it still.
Removing my earphones I looked towards him and he was seething in anger.His eyes were fixed straight but he was shivering which looked like his blood was really on boil.
My eyes caught smashed paper weight on floor and I rolled my eyes before getting back to my work again.Next moment I heard the slamming sound of door and I know he was out of the cabin.
Sighing I closed my eyes and rested my head back on the chair.A tear trickled from the corner of eye as yesterday's memory again flashed in my mind.
I love him but he hates me!He is already in a relationship and I can't spoil his life more!Its better if we would maintain distance!Yhi acha hoga hum donu k liye!Neither we are of same class nor I'm anyway beautiful to Aliya that he would choose me over her!
Wiping my other tears which didn't know when fell from my eyes I again tried to bury myself in the work.

Lunchtime,1:00 pm.
He came back to the cabin just 10 minutes before.Since morning he was out.I don't know what he was doing or where he was even.
I felt his eyes on me but I had kept my eyes low,ignoring him very conveniently.
"I've completed these files!"Standing up from my chair I went infront of his desk and kept those files there.He raised his eyes at me and on finding me again with low eyes he hissed,I heard.
"Tum..."Before he could grit another word I muttered, "Its lunchtime sir!" and went out of his cabin.I heard another loud sound from behind,he must've broken something.
Going into the canteen I bought vegetable sandwich and sat on the corner table chair.
"Arey larki!Kesi ho?"Zain chirped sitting on the front chair and I passed him a weak smile.
"Kia hua?"Sensing me glum he asked softly but I shook my head. "Nothing!Its just that I'm having a little headache since morning!" I didn't lied.It was absolutely true.When we don't have our night sleep it happens.
He didn't look convince though.He was about to say something when I jerked up from my chair.
"I'll be back in two!"
He squeezed his brows seeing my behaviour while I went towards canteen. "Kuch tou garbar hai!Ho na ho Manik hi hai iske sar dard ki wajah!"
Lunch tou kia nhi hoga!Gussa karne se aur tor phor karne se fursat mile tou kisi aur cheez pe dhyaan denge na!
Fetching chicken sandwich with a Russian salad bowl from canteen I rode towards his cabin.
Come on Nandani!You can do it! You have no choice either.
Standing outside his cabin I took deep breaths trying to control the nervousness which was hovering over me.
"Lunch!" Going into the cabin with low eyes I kept tray of food on his desk and turned.
I would've just taken a step when a smashing sound of tray peeped into my ears.
Turning I looked at him and then at the food which was lying on floor.
"Aapke paas paisa hai iska ye matlab nhi hai iss tarah khane ki be-izzati karenge aap!"I spatted on his face and bent down to gather the spilled food back into the tray.
In next moment my elbow was harshly clutched and I was dragged on the wall behind.
"Haath choriye mera!"Raising my menacing eyes up I threatened him while trying to remove his palm off my elbow.
"Why were you crying yesterday?"He asked,his voice deep and intense.
I stayed quiet,looking on other side while struggling in his grip.The intensity in his eyes was death-inviting.
"Tumhe kia lagta hai kal jo hua..."
"It was a mistake!" I spoke in an iron tone while keeping my face on other side.
He remained silent for a moment,staring at me in utter shock and pain.
"It was a mistake?"He growled pulling me closer and I tried controlling my tears.
"Samaghti kia ho tum apne aap ko!"He shouted and clutched my another elbow too.I gasped seeing his scarlet eyes and this high pitch.
"Mistake?Galti kehti ho tum ise?Tumhara mere liye rona,mughe apne dil se lagana?We kissed?Sab galti thi?"His pitch got more high and tears gathered in my eyes feeling embarrassed at my deeds.
"Yes!It was a mistake!"Looking into his eyes I spoke clearly and I found his eyes turning misty.
"Aren't you ashamed of playing with me?Aur kitna khelogi tum mere sath?"His voice softened out,I could feel hurt and pain in his voice which somewhere stabbed my heart too.
"Maine koi khel nhi khela aapke sath!" With downcast gaze I cried and I heard his sarcastic chuckle which made me look up at him.
"Stop lying Nandani!It makes me hate you more when I don't want to hate you!"He snarled coming closer to my face and I pursed my lips before pushing his chest with my all force.
"I'M NOT LYING!MAINE KUCH NHI KIYA!KOI KHEL NHI KHELA MAINE AAPKE SATH!"I shouted exasperatedly while crying and he stopped on his tracks.
"Apni marzi se koi jhoot nhi bola maine aapse!I was forced!I did as I was asked to do!Main majboor thi!Ali..." I was about to reveal the truth when Zain barged into the cabin, "Nandani...!" He stopped seeing us.
My eyes went towards him and I noticed my cell in his palm.He looked at me and forwarded my cell, "Your appa..."
I snatched my phone from his hand. "Yes!" It was call from nurse.
My heart had started beating fast.My instinct was saying something wrong was about to happen.
"Mam we are taking Sir to the hospital!He is having a major heart stroke!" As soon as these words reached my ears a tear slipped from my eye and the phone fell from my hand, "Kia hua?"Zain and Sir both freaked out and I whispered, "Appa ko phir se heart attack hua hai!"
I don't know why I looked towards Sir with teary eyes maybe I wanted his assurance and he immediately came forward, "Don't worry kuch nhi hoga unhe!I'll take you to him!"
"Yes don't worry!" Zain too came forward and was about to hold my palm when Sir held my palm immediately and we turned towards door.I wasn't in a state to understand what was happening around me.
"You better take care of the office behind!"While exiting the cabin Sir turned his eyes towards Zain who nodded plainly.
Upon reaching the hospital I ran towards emergency ward with Sir behind me.
Within the round glass frame on door I peeped in only to find Appa laying between machines.
Appa!
Tears gushed down from my eyes and I turned only to be held by Sir.
He held me tight in his arms as I cried louder and harder.
"Sab meri wajah se hua hai!Sab meri wajah se!" I cried violently and Sir held my upper arms,separating me from him.
"Why are you saying like this?Kuch nhi hua tumhari wajah se!"He spoke sternly but I shook my head.
"No!It-has-all-happened-because of-me!Kal-bhi-nhi-mili-main unse-aur-aaj-subah-bhi-unse-mile-baghair-hi-office-agayi-thi!Isi-wajah-se-unhone-stress-le-liya-hoga!"I palmed my face,crying bitterly.
"Nandu!"The doctor came outside and spoke.I looked towards her and she spoke, "The patient wants to meet you!He is continuously mumbling this name!"She spoke and I felt earth slipping beneath my feet.
"Appa!" I palmed my mouth when doctor spoke hastily, "We don't have time!We are loosing him!"
I stepped back when Sir held my shoulders from behind. "Meet him!"He spoke softly and with collapsed heart I entered into the ward.
The four doctors were standing in corner with low eyes while Appa was laying there with half open eyes.
"Appa!" I cried loudly and ran towards him,hugging him directly.
"Y-ou a-re m-y br-ave gi-rl!" He spoke amidst his soft gasps and I shook my head in his chest.
"No Appa! I'm nothing without you!Aap ko kuch nhi hoga!Main..Main aapko kuch nhi hone dungi!"I spoke furiously while clutching his palm between my palms and he smiled meekly.
"Ta-ke ca-re!Ro-na nhi!"His breaths were getting high.I looked at him with wide eyes and he raised his finger towards someone behind.
I looked back and found Sir standing there with teary eyes.
He looked at me and then at appa before stepping towards us.
He came beside us and Appa held my palm and raised his other palm towards Sir.Sir immediately held his shivering palm before bending a little down.
He kept my palm in Sir's palm and then clasped them tightly. "Mm..eri nan..du py...aar ka..rti hai...tug..hse!" He spoke and my head shot up at him to which he smiled lovingly looking at me, "Ka..l te..ri waj...ah se wo mu..ghe bh..ool ga..yi!" Listening his words I lowered my head,sobbing hard.
"Mm..eri gu...riya tu...ghe de..k..ja...raha...hn!Is..ka dhya......"Appa's voice slurred and my eyes widened before I screamed "Appa!"
"Nhi you can't leave me Appa!Ankhein khole na Appa!"I tapped his cheeks fiercely when I felt Sir holding my shoulders from behind, "Nandani!"
Jerking his palms I held Appa's face in my palms again. "You can't go like this!No!I won't let you go!You can't leave me!Open your eyes!Appa open your eyes!" I was screaming and crying like a mad.
"Nandani!Chlo!"Sir tried to control me but I was getting hyper.
"Nhi!Im not going anywhere!Im staying with him!"Jerking his palm I shouted angrily at him and again tapped Appa's cheeks.
"Appa wake up!Kuch nhi hua hai aapko!Aap yahin ho,mere sath!Wake up Appa!Show everyone that you are with me!Appa...!"At last I broke out at his chest. "Appa!Uthiye na!Aap kese chor k ja sakte ho mughe!" I wept like a toddler on his soundless chest.
A doctor came forward to close his half open lifeless eyes when I shouted at him, "Dont touch him!"
"Nandani! Come on stand up!"Sir again held my shoulders and forcefully made me stand.I wriggled in his hold but he had held me so tightly.
"Chorein mughe! Appa! No!Don't you dare do that!" I stretched my arm towards my father when that doctor pulled white sheet over his head making me blister like a mad bull.
"Nandani!"Sir spoke sternly trying to hold me but I was wriggling too harsh in his hold. "Nhi! Mughe appa k paas jaana hai !" I bawled out as he was pulling me out of the room.
"Choriye mughe!I said leave me!"I roared at him and he turned me towards him,he was holding my both shoulders.
"Bas!Chup!"He shouted while showing me his eyes which were teary too.I flinched and my lips again quivered feebly, "Ap..pa!" to which he pursed his lips and pulled me in his arms.
Clutching his back I cried in his chest and he held me more firmly,trying to give me as much comfort as he could.
I never thought that my life would take a drastic change this soon!Now I was left alone,alone in this world or maybe this man who was crying in my pain was my only world!
