~ Kaiden's POV ~
I awoke the next morning with no boxers under my pants. Felix was still asleep next to me, he looked peaceful. Sunlight flowed into the room, giving everything a calm and serene feel. Our underwear hung on clothes line on the small balcony, no longer dripping wet. I felt giddy, excitement flowed through me even though I have just woke up. I stretched, lying back down and throwing my arm over Felix's shoulders. He wiggled and moved in his sleep, a frown occurred on his face.
"No.... dad please" he whimpered, I frowned. Was he having a nightmare? I sat up and looked down at his face, worried about him.
"I'm sorry" he muttered,
"Please no!" he then let out a blood curdling scream and sat up quickly, smacking our heads together. I groaned, holding my head. He laid back down.
"Ouch! What the-?" He snapped before looking at me, his frown softened.
"Hi" I chuckled as the pain subsided. He rolled his eyes,
"You okay?" I asked. He nodded but I was unconvinced,
"Did your dad.... do anything to hurt you?" I asked. His muscles tensed up, he adverted his eyes all of which indicated it was a touchy topic. I decided to drop it.
"It's fine if you don't want to talk about it" I said, patting his shoulder slightly and rolling out of bed to the bathroom. I washed my face, brushing my hair back with my fingers before coming out to see Felix perusing the room service.
"Waffles or pancakes?" He called to me, I rested my head on his shoulder and looked down at the menu. I felt his muscles tense as he shifted uncomfortably, I moved my head and pointed at waffles.
"Blueberry waffles"
"Okay" he replied as he run the number. Our breakfast came and went, we got dressed and checked out of the room. We waited out the front of the hotel, Felix sitting on the boot of the car playing with his phone out. A few minutes later, Ron's truck came around the corner. He climbed down with a large grin on his face, a elegant looking woman climbed down from the passenger seat. She had greying brown hair pulled into a bun and kind brown eyes. She was a bit taller then Ron but wore the same smile.
"Heya boys!" Ron called,
"This is Fran, she wouldn't let me leave without her"
"I just wanted to thank you boys for what you did" she said, she practically pulled my neck down to a height where she could easily hug me with her small arms. She then did the same to Felix only his back didn't crack as he didn't have to go down as far as I did.
"We had a lovely night!" Ron called while strolling up our car.
"It was indeed very special for us" Fran agreed, Felix smiled at her.
"It was nothing"
"Yeah, even without seeing the musical we had a really fun night" I added with a smile, I saw Felix's nice act fade away to at scowl he directed at me. Fran smiled knowingly,
"I hope everything's worked out" she winked making Felix blush. I noticed how the redness went to behind his neck as he tried to hide it.
"Come along boys" Ron called, Fran sent him a playful glare.
"And the gorgeous Fran" he added making us laugh. Ron and Fran dropped us off at a local mechanic, waving a final goodbye to us.
"They were nice" I commented, Felix hummed in agreement. We then entered the open garage of the mechanic. The car was parked inside and no one was around.
"Hello?" Felix called, a loud bang startled me and a tall, tanned boy walked out of the back room. He looked Mexican, he had a female sugar skull with the Mexican flag tattooed on his hip. He wore saggy jeans and no shirt, grease smeared across his face and an old hoodie around his waist. He tied his long black hair into a small ponytail before smiling at us, well, Felix.
"¿Quién es este hermoso ángel antes que yo?" He purred before holding out his hand to Felix. He hesitated but shook the dark skinned hand,
"Why have your beauty graced me this fine morning?" He asked. I didn't like how he flirted with Felix, I felt a tinge of jealousy.
"We came here so you can fix my car" I interrupted, throwing my arm over Felix's shoulders. The boy finally noticed me, he shot a glare at my arm over Felix's shoulders.
"Ah, well can I get your names?"
"Kaiden" I answered, he completely zoned out when I said my name. It was like it went in one ear and out the other, completely unfazed and didn't register. He then turned to Felix, his attention fully on him, expecting him to reply as well.
"I'm Felix"
"Antonio, pleased to meet you" he introduced, skimming his eyes over Felix. I didn't like him, I didn't like him one bit. The way he looked at Felix was like a lion eyeing his prey. If I wasn't he, Antonio would've pounced on him.
"Yeah well, could you fix my car so we can get out of here?" I snapped, Antonio tore his eyes from Felix and gave me a fake smile.
"Yeah... sure" he sent a wink at Felix before turning his back and stretching, showing off his muscles. I scowled and lead Felix outside, muttering things under my breath.
"Of course he speaks Spanish, Spanish is sexy. I can speak Spanish too..... ciao sexy. No wait that's Italian" I grumbled under my breath as we walked across the road to the small cafe there. Looking at it, the shop seemed to be quiet calming. Bookshelves in the window, small patio with charming tables and bright umbrellas. The front read 'The tea book' which made me assume they specialise in tea.
"He really has your underwear in knots doesn't he?" He asked as we sat at a lonely booth in the back.
"Well if course! He was flirting with you"
"Jealous?"
"Yes" I answered honestly, it took him by surprise. He opened his mouth to talk but before he could, a waitress our age came up to us. She wore a headscarf over her bald head, decorated with cartoonish hamburgers. She gave us a broad smile,
"Heya boys! I'm Vera and I'm going to be your server this morning" she said. Although her name sounded familiar I dropped it.
"Sorry... we haven't looked at the menu yet" I mumbled, grabbing the menu from the table.
"That's fine! Personally, I recommend the red velvet cake paired with jasmine tea or the pound cake with chai tea! My aunt just took the pound cake from the oven less then 5 minutes ago!" Vera chirped. Felix smiled, ordering an iced tea and chocolate mud. I took Vera's advice and got the pound cake but with a coffee instead. Felix rested his chin on his hands and watched me with his blue eyes that stared through my soul. I found my new favourite colour.
"Why are you jealous?" He asked, I cocked my head to the side slightly and frowned.
".... because we like each other..?" I replied, his expression did not change. I sighed, scratching the back of my head.
"Felix.... what are we?" He looked thoughtful but before he could speak, Vera came back.
"Ah-ha!" She cried startling us, the drinks on her tray wobbled dangerously. The small handful of customers glanced our way, wondering what she was yelling about.
"I knew I know you!"
"Huh?" Felix said confused, Vera giggled as she served up our orders. She pointed at me,
"You are Kaiden the ex-lover, and you are Felix the nerd.... I never got your last names"
"How-?" Before I could ask she smiled broadly,
"I saw you both at the winter carnival! I was with my childhood friend Skye and Braydon" she said. Felix gave her a cold stare, wrapping a straw.
"If you saw us, that means they saw us together... right Vera?" He asked coldly, he turned into the Ice King for a second.
"Yep" she said, oblivious to Felix's attitude.
"I just want to say, I approve!"
"VERA!" A man in the back yelled, poking his head through the kitchen door.
"Stop chatting"
"Sorry uncle!" She called back,
"Bye guys" she skipped off to serve another table. Felix sighed loudly,
"We'll talk later" he muttered as he dug into his food. I knew it would be a long car ride back.

Also, Antonio says "Who is this beautiful angel before me?" In Spanish.
Anyone know a second language? I bow to you cause that shit is hard. I would love to learn Japanese or German though
