Torn; Chapter Twenty-One
"Let's go to the beach," Jake says. We are sitting at the table while Lara fixes breakfast. I scroll through Twitter, only hearing half of what he's talking about.
"Yeah, sure," I replied. MY eyes didn't leave my phone as I read the boys' tweets.

I laughed, getting me weird looks from Jake. Lara turned to me and said, "Boys?" I nodded and showed her Harry's off-the-wall tweet. We laughed together until Jake got annoyed.
"Can you fix our breakfast so we can go?" he snapped. I looked from him to Lara. Lara had anger boiling inside her. I could see it from her eyes.
I patted her back and whispered, "The boys don't know about this. Please don't tell." She sighed and nodded, turning away from Jake for the first time.

I looked out at the blue ocean. I got out of Jake's Mustang. My feet touched the cool sand. I wiggled my toes in it before standing up. Jake was beside me within minutes. I took off my bathing suit cover-up, revealing my purple bathing suit that Louis had picked out. He had rather good fashion sense.
"Come on, let's get in the water!" Jake said, dragging me to the edge of the ocean.
We laughed and giggled as we splashed in the water like little kids. By the end of the day, I was exhausted.
