When I first
heard about self harm
as a young child,
I never found it repulsive.
The thought of blades
and blood
never made me averse
to the action.
In fact,
I thought it was
a good idea.
How sick can one be
that at eleven years old,
you think self harm
is anything less than vile?
That may just
go to show
that I was bound
to dig myself into
a big mess
and have no way out.
But that didn't stop me,
and here I am today.
