two year later
"Melody, I have no fucking clue where the wedding planner is, she hasn't told me, do I stand left or right? Holy shit"
Yes, that is my father, freaking out more than I was about this day more than I was. The venue was packed, we invited pretty much anyone who was close to my dad ... so basically the whole island. Anyone who came into the surf shop he was handing invites to, and now he is freaking out. He was pacing back and forth, fixing his tie nonstop, if this is how he was acting how was Aiden.
"DAD, calm down, you walk how you want to walk, we are a beach for god sakes". He takes a huge breath and holds his chest. His hair was completely grown back and now he is rocking his small curls. He walks up to me and hugs me and hears clicks.
"I forgot the wedding photographer was here". We both burst out laughing as we continue to hear clicks, I am glad some of this is getting captured. My dad calms down and looks down at me, smiling from ear to ear.
"Princess you look so beautiful it is ridiculous, you are just so precious. I never believe this day would happen so soon, especially marrying an old guy like Aiden". He nudges me as I scoff
"He isn't that old dad" I push his chest as he fixes my veil.
"Yes, he is old, but you are the one that got knocked up early".
"Aren't you supposed to be sweet to me right now?" I roll my eyes and fix my dress, it was a flowy dress perfect for the beach.
"I am just teasing love, now let's get you, married baby".
I smiled and grabbed his hand but then remember "OH SHIT, KAI!"
My dad and I Look around and see two little dress shoes hiding behind the mirror.
Then I see my little curly blonde baby running toward me, Giggling and grabbing my legs.
"I am here mama, I was hiding from you, so I could scare you". I bend down and look at his adorable little eyes.
"You scared me, buddy, are you ready to do your special part for mommy and daddy's big day". Kai looked at me and nodded really quick, giving me a hug.
"I am ready, I want to be next to daddy and tell him he looks handsome ". Kai was so funny, but I know his dad must have told him to say that. Aiden is always teaching Kai to think he is handsome and tell everyone his daddy is handsome.
My dad kneeled down and looked at Kai and nudged him "What about Grandpapa? Am I handsome"? Kai looks at my dad and giggles, running up to him and grabbing his cheeks.
"No, your Hot like my mommy, because you look like my mommy and Daddy says Mommy is the hottest woman on earth". I look at my dad with my mouth wide open laughing at Kai comment.
"Kai your dad is an idiot okay, tell him I said that" My dad gave Kai a high five as he repeated the word idiot.
"Damn its dad, now he is going to call his dad an Idiot." I fix Kai tie as my dad shrugs and walks to the side.
"Kai baby your dad is very smart okay, now are you ready?"
Kai gives me a kiss on my cheek and looks at me.
"You look pretty mommy, not hot". I chuckle and thank him, standing up. I look in the mirror one more time and realize there is no turning back.
"Dad grab the thing and let's go". I walk over to the crib and see my newest addition. Aiden and I got pregnant right away and had our newest baby. He looks exactly my dad, it is uncanny. His hair was a dark brown, eyebrows so bushy with a small button nose. He was sleeping very peaceful, but I wanted him to be involved. So, after much asking my dad agreed to hold him with a baby carrier. My dad groans and puts on the baby carrier, as I grab him.
"You just had to have a baby so close to your wedding huh?" My dad said as I passed him, my sleepy baby. "He is going to drool on me".
I roll my eyes and grab his pacifier "So what, and don't be dramatic cause I didn't name Luke. I like Star Wars dad but come on".
"He would have been named after a Jedi master Melody, a master. But no, you named him Keanu. Keanu Matteo, I know his dad is German, but we could have put Luke as the middle name"
"Keanu is badass and you know it, dad. Also, he came out of me not you so hush."
"You are becoming a Kardashian, let's get your ass married".
Grabbing Keanu, we secure him next to my dad's chest and start walking out. I take a breath and push Kai to run toward his dad, which of course he does. Grabbing my dad, we walk to the aisle and I see my Aiden.
My sweet Aiden, shedding a couple of tears as he looks at me. Kai holding on to his dad's hand, waving at the crowd. I couldn't hold it in and also started to cry, my dad telling me what I needed to hear.
"You just paid 100 for that makeup, do not waste that shit". I nodded and sniffed a bit, wiping my tears as I reach Aiden.
We reach the priest and he looks at Aiden and me then to my dad.
"Do you give your daughter away to this man?" The priest asked, and Aiden smiled.
"No, she is making me, so I guess yes but no not really". My dad also wants to get a laugh and will also receive one. The priest cracked up as I rolled my eyes probably for the 400th time today. I kiss my dad cheek and grab Aiden's hand. Kai walks with my dad and sits in the front with my new stepmom and Gevene. I look up at Aiden and he mouths I love you and I mouth it back. The priest clears his throat and looks at us. He goes on with the ceremony, but I am not listening, I am looking at Aiden and he is looking at me.
"Melody would you like to go first" I look at the priest dumbfounded and then looked at Aiden, who winked at me. Oh, it is my vows, crap, I need to pay attention.
"Yes, sorry. Aiden Schulze, you have no clue how much I love you. You are all I will ever need. We have been through our ups and downs, but we have always made it out. Our love has grown due to those two little boys. I love you so much and I will always love you. The way you have shown Kai how to kick a soccer ball, Or the way you shaved his hair without asking. Every day you wake up and complain how old you are but run to help me with Keanu, you take the dogs out to walk and make me coffee before I could even wake up. Aiden You have help me grow and realize what love is and I will always thank you for that. I love you baby and can't wait to be your wife". I look at my husband and just smirk as he wipes a tear. The priest smile and looks at Aiden
"Your turn Aiden".
Aiden clears the throats and looks at me and kissed my cheek.
"Sonneblume, It, you know how much I love you, but I do not think you know how much you mean to me. You are the reason I wake up in the morning. You are the reason I work hard to make sure you have everything you want. You are the reason I rush home just to get a glimpse of you. You are the reason I breathe melody. Our sons are perfect because they have a mom like you. The day I fell in love you were a day I wish I could relieve but I fall in love with you every day and every night. Thank you for the blessing of coming into my life beautiful".
I gasp and start to cry, even more, I couldn't even hold it in. I love him so much, I looked at the priest and he said, "Why don't all just kiss, I pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride".
Aiden grabs my waist and pulls me close, "I love you Melody" and pulls me in for a sweet kiss.
Putting our foreheads together, I sigh "I love you Aiden "
We hear cheers and applause and see kai running towards us.
"Daddy, Mommy!" He yells jumping on Aiden "I love you too!".
I look at both of them and realize that I have the best life and It started with a test.
"Sonneblume, are you Ready?" He puts his hand and looks at me, reaching out to me.
"Mr.Schulze, I am ready".
