Omniscient,
Genesis laughs teasingly as her family and best friend help her load her car with luggage. Genesis is originally supposed to leave for California tomorrow to meet with Chris before the flight to New York. Being as it was a four hour drive, Genesis decided to drive down this evening and surprise Chris tonight. She was just approved from her job to have the next two weeks off since she fed them the excuse of her grandfathers death, whom passed eight years ago, taking a toll on her.
"Bring me something good back. A mink sounds reasonable." Serenity shrugs as she leaned against Genesis' car.
"Yeah, not happening," Genesis snickers as she toss her bag full of snacks in the passenger seat. Since the sun was going down, she was making sure she had everything she needs to prevent any stops. She watches SVU way too much to stop anywhere at night while traveling.
"I'm just glad this girl is finally going. She's been rambling on about Chris all day," Logan huffs.
Though both Logan and Serenity were happy for Genesis new and improving relationship, they were growing quite bored from it. Before they could talk about any and everything but now it seems as if Genesis only wants to talk about Chris. Since they love her, they put up with it but couldn't wait for a break.
Genesis blushes at Logan's statement. It's only been a week and a half since Chris went back to LA and she misses being around him. They talk everyday, but the phone couldn't fill the need of his touch and familiar scent that she recently became addicted to.
"Well don't worry, you won't hear from me for a while once I'm there." Genesis smiles cheekily as they both shook their head.
"Genesis, it's getting late and you still need to go and fill up." Her mom called out from the front door as her parents stood in the foyer.
"I still don't like you going by yourself. Chris couldn't send a driver for you or something?" Her dad frowns as she pursed her lips, she sees her father as being overprotective. Little does he know she has done the drive before.
"I'll be fine. I'll text you when I get there!" She chirps as she jogs over to the driver seat.
She honked her horn and began to depart as her family waved her off. Genesis couldn't help but turn on her radio and blast music to keep her hype for the entire drive.
Meanwhile Chris sat in the office of his record label having one of his days. It started with them notifying him that he couldn't release his newest single, Deuces, music video because of other artists in the industry. By other artist, Chris knew they meant Rihanna since her latest album, Loud, was still sky rocketing on the charts.
"Man fuck all that. Am I gonna be able to release the video or not?" He growled at his team that sat across from him.
"Listen Chris, we aren't saying you can't release the video. We're just saying with everything going on and Rihanna just releasing another single it would be bad timing."
"I don't give a fuck about all that! I'm tired of sitting back and watching other people move while I gotta wait on goddamn timing. How about y'all do what y'all gotta do to make sure my album can come out on time and I do the rest." He snarled as he stood up from his seat. "Fuck am I paying y'all for?"
Not only did he feel like his label was giving him bullshit excuses, he felt triggered. Triggered because he felt as if the minute he tries to move on his past comes back and throws something in his face. Yes, Rihanna's album is nice but it wasn't anything like what he had cooking.
Out of his temper, Chris storms out of Jive Record's office with Keeis following quickly behind him. They didn't speak a word to one another as they walked outside to his Porsche. It was obvious to Keeis that Chris was upset with whatever happened in the office, now he was only trying to figure out how he could bring up what's going on with Twitter.
"You good, bro?" Keeis asks.
"I'm really done with this tired ass label. I feel like once this album drop this will be my last with them."
Keeis furrowed his eyebrows, "You forreal?"
Chris shrugged. "They been holding me back with they wack ass excuse." He says as he sped out of the parking lot and down the freeway.
"Well, there's also something else you need to know about." Keeis sighs as he rubbed his goatee. "It's Twitter."
Once Chris was home and safe from killing them from a car accident, Chris logged onto his account seeing many mentions to him from others. Everyone had been tagging him in a tweet from Frank Ocean and Tyler the Creator as they referred to him as Ike Turner.
Chris was beyond tired of jokes about his history. He couldn't wait for the moment where he got big enough to earn everyone's respect in hopes they'll let things go. To make it worst he is constantly bullied over something no one knows the full story of, yet everyone betrays as they were in the backseat. The anger and frustration in Chris grew as his response turned into a twitter beef.
In the midst of the beef with the other two, a tweet caught Chris attention from some one closer to home.

He kissed his teeth reading the tweets coming from TJ's page. By now he was starting to feel like today was a pick on him day when all he does is mind his business. Only thing is, when he starts he hurt feelings.
He didn't know what was worse considering that TJ and him go way back, but lately he's been unrecognizable. All of them has dealt with a girl they really like rejecting them and moving on to another dude, it's life and they typically get over it by finding a new broad. But Chris couldn't help but get the feeling that TJ was betraying as he was in love with Genesis or some sort. Seeing as he was still upset over something he knew wasn't happening.
Him taking this publicly was taking this to a new level. Not only did people notice his comment but they began to repost it, question Genesis's background. Sighing to himself, Chris fingers instantly started tapping on the screen of his phone.

After he tweeted out his tweet, he watched as others instantly start to retweet. Most people weren't sure who he was targeting exactly but Chris got a feeling that TJ would know. Chris even cancelled out the app and started to dial Genesis' number to fill her in on his ranging day. But when his call went to voicemail, he frowned and decided he'll try again later. Going back to Twitter, he propped his chin up on the table as the first updated tweet caught his attention.

Genesis arrived in Chris gated community around 10 p.m and was slightly hoping he was still up. When she pulled up to his house she sat in the driveway for about five minutes, thinking of how she could walk in and surprise him. Even though she had a four hour drive to figure it out, nothing seem approachable.
Chewing on her bottom lip, she decided to just ring the doorbell regularly. Can't nothing beat the original entrance right? She stood in front of the door grinning and waiting patiently until the door swung open revealing Rob.
"Hey," She smiled while stepping in casually.
"Oh damn, I thought you was coming through tomorrow," Rob mentioned as he scratched the back of his head. Genuinely surprised to see her with everything going on.
Genesis chuckled while shaking her head. "Originally yeah but I decided to come early as a surprise. Where is he?"
"Uhh he just went up into his room." He pointed upstairs.
She thanked him while walking past, saying hey to everyone that usually sat in the living room, before skipping up the stairs towards Chris room. She tried her best to tip toe on the wooden floor as she peaked into Chris room, faintly hearing him in the bathroom next door. She took that as her cue to patiently wait for him on his bed as she smiled softly thinking of his reaction.
Two minutes later, he casually strolls into his room with his eyes clued to his phone screen. Genesis' smile widen as she perked up.
"Hey handsome."
Chris head snapped in her direction as he took a step back from the familiar voice. He glanced over at Genesis as she giggled to herself. He was shocked to see her, for sure, but his mood couldn't allow him to betray as so. Instead of meeting her grinning expression, he pursed his lips.
"Wassup." He grumbles as he walks over to his dresser while stuffing his phone in his shorts pocket.
Genesis frowns. "Well that was a lot more dryer than I expected. What's wrong?"
Chris was more disappointed than upset with her. Though he didn't want to jump to conclusions since he never heard of them two sleeping together coming from her mouth. But he knows TJ isn't one to lie out of an petty argument.
Instead of responding, he unlocked his phone and going to the previous app before tossing it towards Genesis.
"Why you ain't tell me, man?"
Genesis,
I twisted my face up reading all of TJ's tweets. I knew he could be immature but seriously sub tweeting about me is obnoxious.
"Wait, and you believe him too?"
Chris kissed his teeth. "So he lying?"
I sighed and tossed his phone back onto the bed knowing it was no point in denying it. I wanted to hate TJ for airing out something so private but I am also agitated at the fact that they were pointing fingers as if we were in middle school.
"No." I sighed, growing intimidated by his glare as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Why does it even matter? I don't grill you about who you slept with!" I barked while shooting up from where I was sitting.
"But if it was someone you cool with I would've told you!" He snapped back as I rolled my eyes.
Chris honestly has no reason to be even a lick of upset since what happened was before him or any of this.
"This is so childish." I snarled. I couldn't believe he was coming at me like this when its my business that they are airing out.
"So you did sleep with him." His voice came out low as I look over to see him shaking my head. "See this that bullshit."
I huffed. "Again, I don't see why it matter because I'm with you not TJ. Clearly what happened between TJ and I was a mistake and never should of happened, that's why I didn't tell you."
Chris shook his head as he reached in a drawer and pulled out a white tee, throwing it over his head. I squinted my eyes at him as he grabbed a black raiders hat and pushed it over his growing hair.
"Man, whatever. 'Ion even wanna hear the shit."
I felt a lump form in my throat seeing as he truly looked displeased with me. I had no understanding on why he was upset with me when we can both agree that the past is irrelevant now. I stood by the doorway blocking his exit as he started to slide on his Jordans.
"What does that mean exactly?"
"Honestly?" He muttered as his eyebrows crashed together. I looked him in the eyes and nodded, seeing as this was just a petty argument. "All I'm seeing is that you for everybody. What's next? I'ma find out the neighbors hit too?" He approached me as he stared down at me with his hard gaze.
My eyes widen once I caught on to what he was insinuating. A part of me wanted to laugh as if this was a joke because I honestly did nothing wrong. I was dumbfounded over the fact that one silly little tweet cause something to blow out of proportion. If anything I didn't know who to be more upset with, TJ or Chris.
"Wow." I huffed while shaking my head.
Chris scoffed to himself as he brushed past me and left out the room, this time I didn't bother to fight it. Instead, I stormed off to the guest room I stayed in last and locked the door behind me.
Sighing to myself, I pulled out my phone to check TJ's page for myself. To my surprise a couple of people did mention me, asking was this referring to me since Chris responded. Truth is I'm not proud of what happened and I honestly wanted to forget all about it.
I bit my lip and decided I wasn't going to go to sleep with this heavy on my chest, so I started a new message to Chris.
Me:
It was back when TJ and I first met up after talking for a while. I was fresh out of a break up and in the midst of almost giving my ex a second chance. Then I remembered all the heartache and humiliation I went through and got pissed all over again. Long story short TJ and I went out that night, we started drinking and compared to Raheem, TJ was doing everything right. We were both drunk and we came to an agreement that it was a mistake and to never speak of it. It was a one time thing that never happened again.

Listen guys, you don't have to hate TJ 😂. He's not always gonna be the bad guy, he's just someone who cared for Genesis just as much as Chris.
