I glare at them.

I reach school and see Chani yelling at some guys.
I recognize them as Inseong and Jaeyoon.
I get next to him and look down at him.
"Chani, what are you doing?"
He looks up at me with fire in his eyes.
"What do you want tall tree?!"
I feel my blood boil as I look at him.
"I will ask again, what are you doing?!"
He gives me a smug look while glancing at them.
"I'm just having a friendly conversation with my friends, right??"
I look at them and they're all smiles.
"Yes!!"
They nod their heads rapidly.
I let out a big sigh, thinking of how ridiculous the two are.
"Well thank goodness I'm not near his face, I wouldn't want that disastrous of a breath near me."
I feel a warm blush on my face as I look down at Chani.
"You Little..."
I start walking towards him but Inseong and Jaeyoon go in front of him.
"Ugh! next time you say that do it when you don't have lame bodyguards to protect you."
I walk away feeling embarrassed as I see people looking at me leave.
All I wanted to do was to help them, yet they are so mind manipulated.
They'll have to learn on their own.
I glance up and see a fast pacing Dawon, looking out of breath.
I need to apologize to him.
I raise my hand up to him but he doesn't see me.
He runs by me and goes to Taeyang.
Strange... isn't he nice??
Well people do change once they're king.
I've seen it before.

I get to school, feeling my heart pound.
It's time..
There's only one person I trust fully.
Taeyang.
I race down the halls looking for him,
Not caring about the strange looks I get.
I finally spot Taeyang feeling my heart leap.
Am I ready?
No second thoughts.
I race towards him.
I'll finally be free.
But why am I filled with fear?
Fear of getting rejected.

{Flashback to when Taeyang met Dawon}
-Taeyang-
"You still haven't left me. You could have easily escaped if you wanted to. But you stayed."
I felt my face get hot as I stared at him.
"Wh-what??"
He started laughing as he looked at me.
His laugh making me feel secure.
He suddenly stopped looking me in the eye.
"Uh sorry, I wasn't laughing at you I just... I wanted to say something cool, don't take me seriously. If you're uncomfortable I'll go find someone else, sor—"
I suddenly felt an urge for him to stay.
"No no, you don't need to leave I'm just really... socially awkward..."
I glanced away feeling awkward.
When I glanced back he had a big smile on his face.
I felt my heart flutter as I saw him happy.
"Yay!!"
Next thing I know he crashed into me for a hug.
I feel awkward but slowly I hug him back.
He lets go and gives me a sad smile.
"I'm sorry I— it's just you're my first friend... uh!! What I mean is at this school!! My first friend at this school.. yeah that's it.."
A warm blush fills his face as he awkwardly looks away.
"Sorry..."
My eyes widen as I see him looking down.
Suddenly I let out a laugh.
It feels so refreshing.
I grab his hand and give him a big smile.
"You don't need to apologize.. my name is Taeyang, Yoo Taeyang."
I see his eyes brighten up.
"And I am Lee Dawon!!"
He grabs my hand pulling me towards the school.
"Now what are you waiting for?? Let's go inside!!"
My heart races as he pulls me.
Fear.

(This is the other guy, "mysterious flashback guy")
HE was crowded again.
Nowhere to hide.
They were just waiting, trapping HIM.
The crowd let someone through...
HE already knew.
Kang Chani.
HE looked down at his feet.
Embarrassed.
"Hey."
HE looks into Chani's eyes.
Wanting to plead.
But HE can't do anything.
Just accept fate.
"I heard that no one hangs out with you... I don't blame them. I regret the years that we were friends."
HIS feeling are bottled up, not fighting back.
HE has lost hope.
HE looks one more time into Chani's eyes.
The eyes that HE used to love.
One slow tear falls.
Then another and another.
HE falls to his knees, at Chani's feet.
One last glance at Chani.
His gaze doesn't falter.
Was their friendship really nothing?
HIS heart is fully broken.
Anger overtakes HIM.
HE slowly gets up, a small bitter smile on his face.
HE walks slowly towards Chani.
Chani a bit surprised takes a step back, but HE doesn't stop until he is right in front of Chani.
HE leans down and whispers so only Chani Can hear.
"I regret ever loving you..."
And HE runs away.
Again.
