I wore my best clothes and waited for the visitors to arrive, I noticed my dad wasn't throwing any abusive words at me and my sister who usually insulted me along side my father was quiet I wondered why.
    When the visitors arrived I offered them refreshments and was about to leave but my dad told me to sit beside him (strange ) because any time we had visitors he always sent me inside so imagine my surprise when he asked me to stay o well. I was shocked at first because I did not believe my father could do something like that then I snapped out of it and started begging him telling him that he should give them back their money that I would do anything he said he won't even notice I was in the house but he shouldn't allow them to take me but he got annoyed instead of listening to me he started hitting me telling that I was selfish
       I just kept begging him not caring about the pain he was inflicting in my body I saw my sister looking at me with pith in her eyes so I ran to her, told her to beg our dad not to let them take me but her eyes turned cold and she slapped me told me to get lost that it was about time I left the house, I just knew none of them would listen to me so I tried to run as I was about to get past d door I suddenly felt pain at the  back of my head then darkness.
        They were discussing about something in French since I really did not understand what they were saying I just zoned out. I was surprised when my dad asked me to pack my bag that I was leaving with the men not knowing what else to do I went to pack that's when my dad came and told me that he was sorry but I was a burden to him he could no longer accommodate me in his house so he had sold me but not to worry they were going to take care of me
