Opening his eyes straight open, Chun immediately looked straight at his palm than to his master than back to his palm that was glowing blue from the floating ice of many sizes that floated above it.
With a belly full of excitement that he couldn't contain it himself, he yelled out with a cheery tone, "Master I did it!! I did it!!!"
"Yes, you did" Ming smiled with relief, thankful that Chun finally mastered his ability.
"Squeak" Xinyi victory jumped in the air causing Ming and Chun to break out in laughter.
Before they could have a moment with each other a beast roar interrupted the moment which was then accompany by a loud thud a second later.
Immediately Ming, Chun and Xinyi swung their head to face the direction of the cry with lightening speed
"Grrr"
"Awoooooo"
Only then did they spotted the fox on the floor howling in pain, not only that they also noticed it was laying on a wet substance that appeared beneath it, continuing to spread into a puddle.
Confused at first did second later it finally clicked to the three of them, all looked at one another with the same thought in mind, it's water broke!!!
'Out of all time, now!!' the three simultaneously thought to them though Chun kinda exclaimed his thoughts aloud causing Ming and Xinyi to face palm.
Once they realised what was going on the tiger immediately went to pounced on the Fox, eager to finish it's prey there and now.
Seeing this Ming hurriedly shouted,"Xinyi now!!"
"Squeak!!!" Immediately Xinyi took of hurling to the tiger, as he flew he compressed an ice shard and aimed it at the tiger, successfully wounding it on the stomach.
The tiger who got surprisingly attack went and dodged to the side, it gazed at the wound and then at the culprit who caused it, growling and baring its teeth.
Not scared at all Xinyi faced the tiger and went into battle, throwing ices shard here and there while the tiger dogged and swing to retaliate back to his opponent. Knowing close range combat won't work, the tiger opened its mouth as a fireball was beginning to form, instantly it shot out, aiming at the blue furball.
Dodging and dodging Xinyi felt like he was playing a game of tag. Moving and flying from here and there he was having so much fun it triggered the tiger to roar in rage.
"Squeak" Xinyi poked his tongue out furthering angering the beast even more.
While the two beast fight, Ming faced Chun and began explaining his role. Chun soon started to feel nervous, what happens if he stuffs up, could he even accomplish it, what if the ability could only last a second, he couldn't help but form doubts in his mind.
Seeing Chun wavering emotions Ming could already tell what the boy was feeling, placing his free hand onto the boy's face, he encouraging spoke,"Chun believe in yourself, I believe in you" Ming smiled gently.
Hearing this Chun couldn't help but shed some tears that gathered in his eyes but he immediately wiped them away not letting them fall.
'Master believes in me' he happily told himself.
"Thank you, master, I won't disappoint you!!!" giving out a big toothy grin as he thumbs-up, Chun then rushed off to help out Xinyi.
'En, I know you won't ' Ming muttered before turning his gaze to the fox.
As the tiger was about to lunge at Xinyi, he was about to form an ice wall to counter-attack it when suddenly, "Ice Shard, " a pointy ice shard passed behind him aiming towards the tiger which successfully grazed it by the face.
This caught the tiger by surprise as it dodges a minute too late resulting in a small injury.
"Xinyi you alright" Chun looked over with worry and concern within his gaze.
'About time' Xinyi thought as he was getting quite mad at this stupid tiger due to having a bit of his fur burnt off, how? Well, he was having too much fun that while he was laughing his head off the tiger found an opening and got him.
Looking over to the flaming bastard, Xinyi couldn't help but glare as the tiger smirked back in triumph.
"Squeak!! Squeak!!" Xinyi pointed to his burnt fur, looking at Chun with the 'What do you think face, ' noticing the blotchy black fur Chun instantly gasped as he rushed and went to Xinyi side.
"Ahhh Xinyi, my poor Xinyi does it hurt? do you want to rest??? Want me to kiss it better......" before Chun can finish Xinyi slapped his lip shut and pointed at the approaching raging beast that's ready to attack them.
"Ahhh I'll kiss it better later, right now we got some cat butt to kick!!" with that Chun took off.
'I rather let the beauty kiss it than you' Xinyi inwardly cried before catching up to Chun.
They both simultaneously summoned countless of ice shards and aimed them towards the tigers' directions, who instantly dogged and counter-attack with fireballs. It didn't dodge them that successfully though as quite a few shards got him along the way as they scratch and tear its skin.
"This will take a while, " Chun muttered whilst dodging and stumbling over oncoming fireballs aiming his way.
As Xinyi and Chun were over the place trying to counter-attack the tiger and its fireballs, Ming, on the other hand, went into a huge debate with himself, should he or should he not go over to check the fox, thinking and thinking he just stick with the first plan.
"Well, Option A it is" Clutching onto Jun tightly he quickly made his way to see the fox condition. Looking to see if the tiger is occupied, he then proceeded forward to where the fox was currently residing.
As Ming got closer and closer to his goal, suddenly he just had to step on a branch, you can't really blame him though as he just kept his eyes forward not once looking down were his stepping, cause...who does that anyway?!
*crack
'Fuck!' he cursed inwardly, as soon the noise was heard, the sound immediately attracted the tiger attention, causing it to whip its head to his direction.
Noticing the figure approaching its main target, the tiger thought that Ming was going to steal its precious prey so instantly it bolted off leaving behind its previous 2 targets as it set its eyes on a new one. Seeing the oncoming beast, Ming instantly sprinted not wanting to become tiger food.
But as he was running he suddenly stumbled, knowing the tiger was nearing him, he tightly clutched onto Jun into his embrace, shielding his baby in a protective manner as he closed his eyes.
"SQUEAK"
"MASTER!!"
Chun and Xinyi quickly bolted off not daring to be a second too late, "Xinyi freeze its legs, NOW!!, " Chun shouted as he started forming countless of shards while running.
Nodding in understanding Xinyi immediately cast layers of ice towards the tigers' legs pinning it to the ground.
"Roar, " the tiger cried in frustration as it tried to break his arms free from the ice, successful taking out his right front paw.
As Chun summoned layers and layers of shards he notices the tiger is nearly successfully breaking it self-free, "More just a bit more, " he said in desperation as he felt energy draining out of him.
"Got it, " finally gathering enough of ice shards he than guided them towards the tiger, surrounding the beast like a sphere.
As the tiger successful broke itself free it was about to lunge at Ming when suddenly...
"Plunge, " Chun piercing voice rang out through the forest grounds. The ice shards heeded to his command, piercing the beast one by one.
*Thud*
With that, the tiger dropped to the ground lifeless as streams of blood flowed out of it due to being pierced with countless of ice shards causing an instant kill.
Opening his eyes Ming looked behind him only to see the once alive beast, lifeless. Shocked he looked at Chun, who also looked at his way stunned to the spot.
"Ma-Master did I really killed it?!" Chun questioned still in his dazed shock.
"Yes, yes you did Chun, you successfully killed it," Ming smiled happily as he wipes the few tears gathering at the corner of his eyes.
He then went to immediately check up on Jun to see if his baby was okay, only too see tears gathered in the baby eyes, "Shuu its okay, mummy is fine bun, don't cry look see mommy is fine."
"Squeak, " Xinyi cheered happily as it flew to Chun who was jumping in joy.
"Yay, my first kill!!! Woohoo... Oh no... Ahhh master are you okay?!" Chun snapped out of his cheering state and immediately went to his master side in a panic.
"En, I'm okay if you weren't on time I would've been the beast dinner by now, " Ming joked, lightning the atmosphere as he rocked his baby.
"Wuuu...I'm glad master is okay, " Chun started crying.
"It's okay stop crying you baby, everyone is fine now that's all it matters, "
"Hic...Hic...Okay, " Chun wiped his tears off while Xinyi rolled his eyes over his master's action.
As they were all happy to be alive and cheering, a sudden voice broke the happy atmosphere.
"Human"

Hey, guys finally updated a chapter, seriously me and cliffhangers, God damn. I need to stop but when I try not to write one I eventually do in the end.

Also if anyone is wondering why I'm posting so many stories at once well I just love to multitask and I can't and I mean I really can't stick with one novel as I lose inspiration just like that.
P.S
I decided to put a glimpse of the male lead in chapter 17 instead as I really wanted to put a fight scene, yeah I know last minute changes *sighs. Originally I wanted to make a little fight scene but then I was like nahh I'll be long cause fight scenes are just too good, so i hope I did alright. ଘ(੭ˊ꒳ˋ)੭✧
Oh and don't worry you'll read a glimpse of him I promiseeeeee, right now I'm actually nearly finished with chapter 17 all I have to do is edit and recheck hehe.
