"Oh sorry did we keep you waiting?" Liam gasped
"No I was just waiting for you guys, everyone else left already." I said.
"Ugh already?" Michael asked
"Yes, let's go?"
"Yes let's" Liam said crossing his arm with mine.
"Ah I'll catch up I have to do something first" Michael said leaving the opposite direction. Leaving me with Liam, I looked up at him. He looked down smiling.
"Um ok we will be waiting for your return" I yelled out as we walked. Me and Liam started walking towards the beach. I couldn't help but ask Liam about the talk. Complicated enough I blurted out the thought. "If I may ask what was that talk about..." I paused "I mean err" I panicked. What did I just do?
"Haha its ok" he paused "I'm not going to lie to you he was mad at me for buying you that necklace."
"What why? And why do Rose and Alex have the same one?, why is this necklace so special?" I asked but then I paused as his face turned sad. "I didn't mean it like..."
"I know" he exhaled "Im sorry again" I said I looked down in guilt. Idiot why did you say that
"Its ok it's just that, that necklace your wearing, in our group it means I'm your protector" he smiled and looked down
"My what?" I asked
"Well who ever gives that necklace to is there..." he paused "Like a bodyguard, I gave you that do that means I'm your new protector, I totally forgot about it and well Louis is mad because of that" he said looking down "It's a big thing with the boys we only do this if we really like the person, and your the first one" he looked at me and playfully shrugged my shoulder I blushed alittle bit but then I thought for a moment. My protector? Only to one person who they really like as a friend? or more? It is kinda cute that they have there little bro code, the only code me and my friends have is if I saw him first he is mine, I guess british boys thing of greater ideas, they are following my code to right? None of them havent flirt with me, but then I thought of Harry, but he did. I was to deep in thought I didnt see I was looking right into Liams eyes, he just looked confused I could tell he felt awkward
"Sorry" I blushed "I'm ok with it, is it kinda like your always going to be there for me likes best friend? right?" I asked just making sure
"Yes kinda like that" he looked up. "I know it sounds stupid but-"
"No I don't think it's stupid, its kinda cute, and hey at least I have a new best friend" I smiled
"Thanks for understanding" he said as he gave me alittle hug "I thought you were going to be like my girlfriend, she broke up with me and just laughed when doing it" He whispered in my ear.
"What?" I looked at his face, he looked depressed but happy, I couldnt help but hug him tightly
"Well im not that ignorant stupid foolish girl Liam I'd never do that to you or to anyone else in the world" I whispered into his ear. All of a sudden the necklace started glowing alittle bit.
"Omg what's happening to it?" I asked looking on how the black crystal glowed blue.
"It's had enough sunlight, those neklaces also get energy from the sun and glow sometimes" he smiled
"Aw I'm loving this necklace so much already!" I said I looked up at him as he smiled, I felt my heart pound and my stomah twirl, by second our distance grew smaller and smaller.I close my eyes but wasnt expecting what happened, he planted his lips gently on my forehead
"So buddy you ready to leave?" he asked
"Yes buddy I am, oh wait why did Michael get mad then? Did he want to be my protector?" I asked still curious.
"I guess so yes" he said looking forward.
"Oh why? Does that mean he?..." before I could even finish someone was coming up to us. I looked at them they looked familiar.
"Liam? Is that you?" one said while the other said
"Karen is that you?" They got closer and I could see who they were now, it was Caitlyn and Mason from my history class.
"Hey guys what are you doing here?" I asked surprised. All of today I've seen a lot of people from my school than I had expected. Weird thing is almost all of them know Liam.
"We were looking for someone" Mason said.
"I guess we found someone" Caitlyn joked as she hugged me.
"How you been you look so tense" Mason said.
"Ah fine you guys?" I said thinking why he just said that.
"Great just happy that we came to vacation here" Caitlyn said.
"You vacationing here to? You read the poster at school huh?" Mason said
"What poster? I never saw one but maybe one of my friends did" I said thinking maybe that's why we came here all along.
"Oh it is beautiful here huh?" Caitlyn asked
"Yea it is" I said
"So your friends with Liam I see" Mason said looking at him.
"Yea I am why?" I asked suspiciously
"How did you guys meet?" Caitlyn asked
"Oh um Louis showed me him and yea long story" I smiled then it hit me, it's only been a week or less than a week that I've known these guys and so far I've went everywhere with them and I've been inside there house and so have they in ours.
"Alright guys I think we should get going we have to go somewhere sorry" Liam said politely as possible.
"Bye Mason and Caitlyn I'll see you at school" I hugged both of them at the same time.
"Bye Karen and Liam" Both of them said as they walked the opposite diretion.
"Let's go?" Liam voice chirped in my ear.
"Yes let's" As we walked and walked which felt like hours to go to the beach, I was thinking about him. I stopped, I didn't even look at my surrounding, nor did I look up. I looked at my watch 3:47pm. I gasped, I am supposed to meet him in front of the hotel at 4:00pm. 'I am supposed to meet him today! How could I forget!' I turned around from the direction I was going, I looked up to see where I was going but froze when I saw a car rushing by.
"Karen look out!" Liam yelled out.

I awoke to a beep and beep every time until i opened my eyes and I saw people there, I looked at them trying to figure who they were, there was seven of them there. I tried to move but it hurt I looked out the window it looked like we were in a high building I looked to the side of me and saw things a hospital would have. Now I was scared what happened to me? I shaked to the feeling I couldn't remember anything I don't even remember what my name was I looked at the board but didn't see any name.
"What am I doing here?" I said outloud One of the people on the chair woke up "Karen? Your awake!" and started walking towards me. It was a boy he had brown hair, with greenish eyes. "How are you? How do you feel?" he said
"My name is Karen?" I said confused
"Yes your names Karen how are you feeling?" he said I saw his eyes swell up ready to cry.
"I feel good I guess what happened to me? Who are you?" I asked scared
"My names Michael don't you remember me?" he asked in a british voice.
"No I don't who are all of those people? What happened to me?" I asked frightened not knowing if I was ready for the answer
"You were walking when a car hit you thankfully the ambulance got there in time you were loosing alot of blood" he said in a British voice
"What!" I said trying to remember He walked over to the people and woke them up. "Karen is awake!" he yelled All of them got close to me now one of them had stitches on there head and his arm was purple.
"Karen thank god your awake!" one of the girls yelled out.
"We were worried sick about you!" the other girl yelled out
"Karen I'm so sorry I tried but I failed" one of the boys said in a british accent as he leaned down and put his head on my hand I felt tears on my hand.
"Tried what? Who are all of you guys?" I asked feeling uncomfortable
"Yea she doesn't remember anything" the boy with the brown hair said I think he said his name was Michael.
"None of us?" one of the other boys said he had black hair and blue eyes kinda like the guy with the greenish eyes.
"This is all my fault" The boy resting on my hand said raising his head looking at me.
"No who are you guys? Please not trying to be mean but can you move back I feel squished" I said They moved back and the two girls started crying "Your parents are coming soon I already called them" one of them said. All the other boys looked at them and felt really depressed as well. One of them came close to me.
"My names James, even though we haven't really talked please don't be frightened of us were your friends" he said in a british accent. 'James' I asked myself....James James James I never talked to him? Then why is he here? Why can't I remember any of them. Then I remembered something, I looked at each of them. I remembered a conversation I had with one of them.
"Who is pretty boy? Why is he waiting for me? " I asked
"She's remembering!" one of them said. The other boys just looked at each other in confusion kinda made me laugh. I looked at them some more. Your pretty boy is waiting for you...who said that?
"Are all of you guys british?" I asked
"Well me Matthew, James, Niall, and Liam are Alex and Rose arent" One of them said "Alex....Rose? Wait that necklace where's it from?" I asked looking at it.
"Niall and Matthew bought us it" One of the girls said.
"Niall? Wait Niall pancakes?" I said I remembered that name "I remembered that I ate pancakes with him."
"Yes I'm Niall and we ate pancakes remember that's how we met" a boy with blond hair said. "Wait you have blue eyes aren't you my....." I stopped as my head hurt I pressed me hands making it stop.
"Careful please" One of the boys said "The doctor said to take your time to remember things" "Please don't do that" One boy said he had black hair when he touched me hand I had the feeling I know him.
"Well I'll be leaving guys I'm hungry I'll be right back" One of them said.
"James that's rude!" one of the boys said
"No its ok, talking about that what time is it?" I asked
"It's noon" one of them said.
"Thanks Alex..." I said then I froze "Your names Alex right?" I asked
"Yes! I am omg I knew you wouldn't forget me that easily!" she yelled out relieved. As hugged me in joy and I hugged her back, knowing I could trust her. I looked to the side and saw a girl crying. "What's wrong?" I asked
"it's just I feel like its my fault I wasn't there when you needed me the most" she said crying. The blond guy went to her and hugged her trying to comfort her.
"No it's not your fault it isn't your fault either" I said the the boy sitting in the ground sobbing. "It's no ones fault!" I said
"Please calm down Rose I don't like it when your sad" I said starting to cry as well. She stopped and looked at me. "Did you just say Rose!" She yelled cheerfully "Karen! You remembered me!" she gave me a big hug. I hugged her back and started crying.
"I'm sorry I'm trying to remember everyone, it's just hard I feel stupid" I said sad
"It's ok until you remember well be here, and your not stupid!" one of them said.
"Here you go" one of the dudes came back with a bag full of snack bars and sandwiches.
"First goes to Karen" he said giving me one while the others waited.
"Thank you" I said. While he passed out all the sandwiches we heard knock on the door. I saw as everyone went back to there chairs and said come in. Why are all of them leaving is it someone scary? I waited as the door opened.
