Maya's P.O.V.
I sit at the kitchen table eating breakfast. Addy has graced us with her presence. We are all awkward and not speaking because of what happened last night.
《I'm sorry I exploded last light. I was just frustrated.》 I say hoping to break the ice
《It's fine!》 The girls say at the same time
I nod my head as a sign of approval.
I'm still not off the hook. I'm not aloud to leave my hellhole of a house for anything other than school. I hate it, but I exploded, so it's what I get. My Mom's always afraid of my explosions. Apparently my Dad had explosions just like mine. I've been told I do lots of things like my Dad. That's why everyone's so scared of me. My Dad went dark side. He started to use his magic for bad instead of good, and since I get most of my traits from my Dad everyone is afraid I'll go dark side too. If I go dark side it's not cause of my Dad it's cause these prissy princesses will make me so mad that I'll snap and never snap back.
《You ok sweetheart?》 My Mom asks walking into the room making me realise I've zoned out
《Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking...》 I say quietly
《What about?》 She asks
《Dad...》 I whisper hoping she didn't hear me
She stares at me wide eyed.
《Maya...》 She says like she's about to pass out
《I know! He went dark side but I know he was a good guy at first. I also get told constantly that I'm we're so alike so I just can't help but think about him sometimes...》 I explain
She lets out a shaky breath.
《Your father loved us. He really did. He saw himself in you and he spent so much time with you. One day we got in a fight and he snapped. He never snapped back into his kind self and he gave into the dark. The last words I ever heard him say were to you. He told you he loves you and then he left.》 My mother says with an emotionless face
I feel tears falling down my face. I can't listen to this anymore. I get up and go to my room.
I lay down close my eyes and cry myself to sleep with one thought in mind.
He really loved me...
