Screams echoed throughout the household. Children tried to go up the stairs but were shooed away by Miss. Peregrine.
Yells ands growls and screeches that sounded like a dying cat was heard.
No one knew what was going on. Except for a few of the older kids up stairs and Miss. Peregrine herself. Well she wasn't sure, but she had an idea of what it was.
Emma and Olive were giving the new girl a bath. And by the sounds of it, it wasn't going good.
Emma had finnaly dumped the final bucket of water on the girls head when she got loose from Olives hold and jumped out of the tub full of water. Now Emma pulled a slip onto her and some how managed to put a nice dress on her. But as soon as they let go she burst out of the room and into another hard surface.
"Hey watch it!" She heard and looked to see a boy, she recognized him as the boy from earlier when Mrs. Ember was here.
The boy glared at her but she payed no mind as she looked down at her still dripping wet body in the strange layers of cloth. She hated it. Just as Emma and Olive rushed out of the bathroom Eve shapeshifted into a large black fluffy wet dog. They're eyes widened. Uh oh. The boy quickly backed far away but the girls were trapped.
Just as they thought the large dog shook its fur causing water to fly all over the room.
The girls squealed and the boy cannot help the small edge of his mouth go up at the site. After the large black dog was done it took off down the stairs leaving the three teenagers alone. The boy rolled his eyes and then went back into his room leaving the two girls patting off the water.
"Oh man" Olive said and Emma looked at her
"What?"
"Look, when she transforms, her clothes rip up" she said pointing at the heap of shredded cloth on the floor. Emma sighed
"I liked that dress."
Eve was now down stairs and was meet with a bunch of kids now looking at her
"Did we get a dog?"
"Cool!"
"Look! It's so cute" a little girl with pigtails ran up to Eve and placed her hand on top her and began to pet her. At first Eve tensed up and almost bit the girls hand off.
Like she really wanted to bite her hand off.
But shamefully she really likes being pet. She couldnt help it. She also really liked kids.
It wasn't all her falt.
When she transforms, she gets some of that animals traits. Wolf's, or other big animals, she got more angry, aggressive, she also got their teeth.
Cats made her more curious and mischiefivious.
Bears made her more lazy,
snakes more sneaky and mean,
birds offen liked company,
parrots loved to talk,
foxes are sly and kleptomaniac,
deer frightened,
raccoons loved to eat,
and dogs.... they liked kids.
The kids all surrounded her all petting her as she sat with her toung out enjoying the attention
"Kids!" They all heard as Miss. Peregrine began to come into the room. The girl with the honey blond curls turned to her
"Run!" She yelled and Eve listened taking off up the stairs not knowing exactly why or where she was running.
She ran into a room not really paying attention and then turned back into herself in a black dress with black war paint in a line across her eyes. She sighed no longer feeling the need of kids anymore, the traits still lingered, but there was more of herself when she was in human form.
She raised a brow as she looked around the room she was now in. Jars filling selves with strange things on them, but using her dogs sence of smell she smelt what smelled like animals blood.
"You know theres a thing called knocking" she heard and she turned to see the boys from earlier sitting working on something. He had parts of things all over it and he was using tools to do something she had no idea about.
She saw him pause and look up at her. She saw him assess her, looking her up and down, probably looking to see if she was a threat. She liked that about him. He showed no emotion as he looked at her
"My name is Enoch" he said simply before continuing what he was doing making her happy. No fake smile, no handshake, simple, a name, something to refure to him as.
"Im Eve" she said this time making him look up at her.
"Why are in my room" he asked and Eve looked around it again
"I ran in here" he raised a brow
"Okay, why are you still in here" she looked at him again
"Do you dislike my presence" the boy. Enoch shrugged looking back at his objects
"I could care less about your existence" Eve nodded understandably
"Okay" she said looking around again. He frowned raising a brow and looking back at her.

"Why do you have animals heart in jars? Are you planning to eat them all?" Enoch got a disgusted look
"No I'm not eating them? And their raw? I'm not that crazy" Eve looked him confused
"What is wrong with eating it raw? How else do you eat food" he looked at her blankly. Was she serious
"Your crazy" her eyes narrowed
"no I'm not, you're the one with a bunch of hearts on your self's with no interest in eating them, why are they here them, trophys of your victorys?" Enoch rolled his eyes.
"Of course not, here, hand me that one" he said pointing at one. She looked where he was pointing and grabbed it handing it to him. She looked at the thing he was doing. It look
Looked weird, she didnt know how to describe it. The head of a baby human, but the body of... she had no idea
She watched him open the jar and she walked around him to get a better look. She leaned over him as he placed the heart inside the doll.
Enoch felt her presence and could fell her breath on his neck making him tense.
"Uh, can you back up" he said his voice breaking slightly. Eve looked at him in the eye. him looking back at her reminding her of a deer. She raised an eyebrow not at all bothered by there close proximity
"Why"
"Because I don't like you being so close" he said awkwardly looking away
"Are you worried I will try and bite you?" He looked back at her surprised
"What? No." A smirk came to her face
"You should be" his eyes widened and he looked at her to see her smirking and backing away. She began to walk around the room and touch things till she heard the sound of something she turned and her eyes widened when she saw the doll up and moving
"That's cool" she said looking at its every move Enoch looked at her narrowing his eyes to try and her any sarcasm, but strangely he found none.
"You dont find it werid"
"Do you want me to find it werid?" She asked and he glared
"I dont care what you think" she smirked
"Good. I find it cool" his glare lessened after that and he gave her a confused stare
"Guys! Dinner!" Eves head snapped in that direction
"I hope they have deer" she said and looked back Enoch.
