So, while sparring, you pinned him to the mat in under 10 seconds, shutting him up and proving him wrong. Before you ended your training session, you threatened him,
"Pull a stunt like that again and I'll stick my hand down your throat, rip out your spine and use it like a golf club."

Hey, I woke up this morning feeling terrible. I lost my temper and that is not OK. I am so very sorry for my behavior last night. Can we speak face to face? I owe you about a hundred apologies.
Make Up:
For a few days, you would be super passive aggressive, throwing insults, albeit funny insults, his way. Your favorite being, 'You're as bright as a black hole and twice as dense.' He broke the cycle by pulling you into an empty room and apologizing face to face. After that, you apologized for both threatening him and being petty. You both talked things through and worked it out.
