"Intrigue: Part One"
...the first in a series of incandescently infamous intrigues.
It is his words that speak to me,
Chilling in their darkness and
Limitless, unexpressed emotion
That clutches so insistently at the fragments
Of pains and joys
I cannot yet begin to identify.
What I wouldn't give to write like that,
Or perhaps, simply to inspire
Such daunting intrigue.
"Intrigue: Part Two"
...childlike love.
True beauty is so treasured and rare a thing;
I long to drown myself within
The precious austerity of your spirit,
Wash away the anguish of your soul with
Fragrant echoes of my tears.
"La Reine De La Nuit", you say,
As I sing your silent song,
The song of the unknown.
This impact is only temporary, of course;
A tempestuous whirlwind exploring the abyss,
Wanting only to vanquish
The tragedy of dreams.
