1: "Elemental House Blessing"
In this spell you will call to the four Elements to bless your home.
You will need:
- red wine or juice
Steps:
1) Find the center point of the house. If there's more than one level, go to either one. Take a cup of red wine or some kind of juice.
2) Face the East, take a sip of the drink and say:
"Spirit of Air and power and all blessings,
Breathe love into this house;
Fill the air with good.
Through you and in you, I bless this house."
3) Face the South, take a sip, and say:
"Spirit of Fire and living and all blessings,
Warm this house with comfort;
Make whole its hearth.
Through you and in you, I bless this house."
4) Turn to the West, take a sip, and say:
"Spirit of Water and time and all blessings,
Let every hour flow sweetly in this house;
Make pure its tides.
Through you and in you, I bless this house."
5) Turn to the North, take a sip, and say:
"Spirit of Earth and stability and all blessings,
Plant security within this boundary;
Make strong its defences.
Through you and in you, I bless this house."
6) Turn to all four points twice more and repeat each time:
"You are blessed."

2: "Grimoire Blessing"
This spell will guard your Grimoire from other eyes and enchant its pages.
You will need:
- Full Moon
- athame or wand (optional)
- a purple candle
- a yellow candle
- a red candle
- a blue candle
- a green candle
(If you don't have candles in all the colors, you can use white candles.)
Steps:
1) Cast a Circle and place your Grimoire on your altar. Place the candles around your book in a rough Grimoire shape. Position the candles in the way that the Elements are in the pentagram:
2) Light the candles going clockwise, starting with the purple one. Say:
"By the powers of center (north, south, east, west)
And the forces of spirit (Earth, Fire, Air, Water),
I bless and protect this Grimoire
From all unwanted forces and beings."
3) With your dominate hand, athame, or wand, draw a pentagram on the cover of your book and say:
"May no unprepared eye or hand
Behold this blessed Book of Power.
Ancient Ones, behold this book;
Guard and bless its pages.
By the powers of the Moon and the stars above me,
So shall it be."
If you have any deities or beings you work with, you can substitute their names where it says "Ancient Ones".
You can repeat this spell on every Full Moon to increase its power.

3: "Friendship Blessing"
You will need:
- a picture of you and your friend
- seven objects that are special to you and your friend
- dill powder
Steps:
1) Make a small altar with the picture of you two surrounded by the special objects. If you can, build the altar in a place that is special to you two.
2) Take the dill powder and sprinkle it lightly in a clockwise circle around the picture to seal your friendship forever. As you are doing this, say:
"[Name of your friend], you are my best friend;
May our loyalty, love, and fun never end.
So mote it be!"
3) If the friendship feels like it's faltering, freshen the circle with a little more dill powder. Dill symbolizes communication, clarity, and healthy relationships.

4: "Moon Water Blessing"
Moon water can be used for blessing, purifying, ceremonies, and spells. It provides strength, magical power, confidence, and has strong healing qualities.
You will need:
- Full Moon
- a bowl (a silver bowl if possible)
- spring, well, or rain water
Steps:
1) Fill the bowl with water. Take it outside and place it under the moonlight. Put it in a place where it won't be disturbed during the night.
2) Use your index finger of your dominant hand and stir the water three times while chanting:
"Moon of the night,
Mirror of the soul,
Bless the water
Within this bowl."
3) Keep the water outside throughout the night. In the morning, bring the bowl inside (if you can, bring it inside before the Sun rises). You can now pour the water in a bottle and use it when needed.

5: "Blessing another person"
In this spell you will use your powers of visualization.
You will need:
- a glass of wine, juice, or sparkling water
- a picture of the person or something that belongs to them (optional; these objects can help your visualization if you're not very good at it)
Steps:
1) Go to a quiet place. Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Find a state of calm.
2) Envision the person that you want to bless. Take a sip of wine/juice/water. Picture a big, blue, heavenly space above the individual. In the stars above the person, imagine one star becoming larger and brighter than the others.
3) Imagine that star get bigger and bigger, until it finally drops a tear of light. This drop of good energy engulfs the person. Envision them becoming prosperous, healthy, and smiling. Picture that person being alive and well and at peace.

6: "Blessing Your Pet or Familiar"
You will need:
- consecrated or blessed water
- your pet or familiar
- salt or salt water
Steps:
1) Create a circle on the floor using salt. If you can't use salt, make salt water and sprinkle it lightly in the shape of a circle.
2) Bring your pet inside the circle. If your pet is patient, you can also cast a Magic Circle. Dip your fingers in the blessed water and draw a pentagram on the animal's head or back. Say these words or similar:
"[Name of your deity],
Shield [name of pet] from all hurt and harm
And keep him/her always safe and warm.
Watch over [name of pet] from day to day
And guide him/her home if he/she should stray.
Bless [name of pet] with a joyful life,
Free of hardship, stress, and strife."

7: "Blessing Yourself"
This is a simple spell to bless yourself, so you can feel more pure, magical, and empowered.
You will need:
- a small amount of wine or juice
Steps:
1) Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Spend a few minutes becoming relaxed and calm. Then, imagine a white light entering your body from the top of your head and purifying every place in your body. Imagine it removing all the negativity and stress that is weighing you down.
2) Drink the wine or juice, and say:
"Oh, sacred heart
And oh, sacred soul,
Waters that flow through me
And make me whole:
I bless this body,
I bless where I stand,
And all of these blessings
Flow forth from my hands."

8: "Blessing Tools"
This spell is for blessing your magical tools, charms, and amulets, and anything else you plan to use in your practice.
You will need:
- consecrated or blessed water
- the tool you want to bless (cleansed)
Steps:
1) Cast a Circle and place the tool on your altar.
2) Dip your fingers in the consecrated water and sprinkle it on or around the tool (if the object is something that might be damaged by water, sprinkle the water around it so the water doesn't touch it). Hold your hands above the tool and say:
"I bless this [tool name];
May it help me in my practice,
Protect me from evil,
And purify all that it touches.
So mote it be."
Visualize the tool being filled with your power and radiating light and positive energy.
3) Open your Circle and leave the tool on the altar for the night.

9: "Bedtime Blessing"
You can say this blessing as you're going to sleep in order to bless your loved ones and yourself.
You will need:
- a candle (optional)
Steps:
1) Light the candle if you have one and say:
"In the still of the night,
While the world around me sleeps,
May the angels smile upon me
And the Lady bring me peace.
Blessings upon [list the people you want to bless];
I know that you will care for them
And bring them what they need.
Instill in me great harmony
In thought, word, and deed.
So mote it be."

10: "Mother Earth Meal Blessing"
You can say this blessing before a meal to bless your food.
Steps:
1) Hold your hands over your food and say these words:
"The table round contains the Earth
And thus becomes the Mother.
We share her bounty in this hour
And bless and love each other.
So mote it be."
