well dang im on a roll tonight. i think its my music choice XD anyways next poem!
They are starving and can still smile
we have everything but are not sastified
they go for weeks on end with no food
we have plenty but we waste it
we are too caught up in petty self concerns
to notice the suffering going on around us
death is not an unfamiliar concept for them
while for us it is taboo
we are devoted to our name being known
while thousands upon thousands of theirs are lost everyday
before we cut for ourselves,
I think we should cut for them first
before we pull the trigger for our hopeless lives
think of them first
before we cry for ourselves
cry for them first
