Why am I given birth?
What is the purpose
Of this circus?
People tell me to just have fun
That it is better than to live like a nun.
Go to parties, drink some beer
That I should have no fear.
Is there a god
Should I believe in him or not?
I am not allowed to question that
It is just something my mind is good at.
At school or work everyone is striving
To be the best at surviving.
We all want to be the best, but only one person can be the best
So what about the rest?
Is love just some chemical reaction
Does it require alot of action?
Is it a wild attraction
Or is it a distraction?
When I am older
Will I have grown bolder?
Will I have grown wiser
Or do I need an advisor?
Do I want to pass on this life
Together with my wife
To a lovely and carefree child
In a world so uncaring, dangerous and wild?
Will my insecurities dissapear
And what about my fear?
How will I look at me
Will I have grown strong like a tree?
I do not know the truth
Probably because of my youth.
Maybe one day when I am old
The answer will have been told.
