'Happy ka?' Tanong ni Edward kay Maymay.
'Yes. I am.' Sagot naman ng dalaga.
Maymay couldn't believe that it would be such a relief having to tell her Mom and brother the truth.
They no longer have to hide anything for the rest of their stay and they do not have to watch their actions anymore though in respect of her Mom, she stayed in her room while Edward still stayed in the guest room.
No more sneaking.
'Sina Mommy at Daddy na lang.' sabi naman ni Edward.
Edward's right. It will be the Barber's turn next but she still couldn't decide cause telling them comes with a lot of things.
Her job.
Their trust.
All of those might be taken away from her: Can she risk it?
Is she willing to risk it? For Edward?
She still have a week to think about it.
When it's time to go back to the hotel, Maymay and Edward left her Mom and brother at peace knowing that they have already been given their blessing.
Maymay called the hotel prior to them going back advising them that they will be cancelling the booking for one of the rooms that they took.
She will be staying in at Edward's room for the rest of the week before they fly back to Manila.
Before they face reality.
They have a week to talk things through. To decide what needs to be done.
But before they even arrived at the hotel, Edward received a phone call from his Dad.
'Edward, need you back here in the Manila.' Kevin said.
'Huh? Why? I still have things left undone in here.'
'There had been an issue with the South Fork Inn. Have you not been checking your emails?' Tanong ng Daddy nito.
'I was just about to when we go back to the hotel.' Sagot naman nito.
'Go back? Where were you then?' Tanong naman ng Daddy niya.
'I-I stayed at the parent's house of Dale. Her Mom invited me for the weekend.' Sagot naman ni Edward which caused Maymay to give him 'the look'.
'Okay. I hope you treated Dale well in there but anyway. Just pack up your things and be here as soon as you can. You can let Dale handle everything in there.' Sagot ng Daddy niya.
'What? No. I'll take Dale with me back there. Send someone else in here first thing tomorrow. Will book the earliest flight we can get.'
Kevin was a bit in shock with what Edward said but he doesn't have time to talk about it. 'Fine. I'll send Jake and his team in there instead.'
'Okay. See you tomorrow.' Pagpapaalam ni Edward.
'What was that?' Tanong ni Maymay kay Edward.
'Dad wanted me back at the office the soonest. There had been issues with SFI that he needs me looking into.' Sagot ni Edward. 'Check every airline and look for the soonest flight we can get. We're going back.'
'Oh okay.' Maymay immediately took out her phone and looked for a flight.
Saying she's disappointed with the sudden change of plan is underrated. Guess she have to face reality as soon as tomorrow.

Maymay was able to book a flight for 8am that Monday morning. They checked out from the hotel early so she can still go back home and say goodbye to her Mom and brother.
It was also Vincent who drove them to the airport.
While they were on the plane, Edward cherished the moments left with Maymay cause he is certain that as soon as they landed, everything would change.
'I'm sorry mi love.' Edward said while caressing Maymay's hand.
'Why?' Tanong naman ni Maymay.
'We should have still a week together but look at us now.' Halata sa boses ni Edward ang lungkot.
'Ano ka ba Edward. We went to Camiguin for work and not for vacation. The vacation part was just a bonus so it's okay.' Maymay may also be feeling a bit sad with the sudden change of plan but she doesn't want Edward to fee bad for doing what is asked of him by his Dad.
'Soooo? How are we going to do this now?' Tanong ni Edward kay Maymay. She knows that he is pertaining to their secret relationship.
'Work will be work. Let's do it like how we have been doing it in the past. We work well that way.' Pauna ni Maymay. 'Us, comes after work. However or whichever way we can.'
'We can go out for lunch but as employer and employee and not as boyfriend girlfriend.'
'We can't go out on weekends but you can come to my house and we'll have the whole time and place in there.' Maymay enumerated with her fingers all the conditions she have.
'Woah! Woah! You really have think things through.' Ani Edward.
'I have to come up with an idea as soon as I can cause if not, we'll be busted in no time. Napakalandi mo pa naman.' Sagot naman ni Maymay.
'Ha! Look who's talking.' Pang-aasar ni Edward.
'I didn't say I am not malandi.' Sagot naman ni Maymay. 'I am just saying that you are mas malandi.' Natatawa tawa pa ito.
'Since you have already thought of me like that.' Panimula naman ni Edward habang unti unting inilalapit ang labi sa tenga ni Maymay. 'What do you think of making love in this plane. Let's take our escapades on a whole new level!'
Nagulat naman si Maymay sa suhestyon ni Edward. 'Hoy Mr. Barber maghunus dili ka. Yes we can take our escapades in a whole new level but don't be too literal!'
'Yoi're so damn lucky this plane doesn't have a business class. If it does, my hand will already have been inside your pants by now.' He again whispered on Maymay's ear then bit her ear lobe after.
Maymay suddenly felt her cheeks getting hot with Edward's statement and damn her body for longing for his hands. Napalunok na lamang si Maymay sa naiisip.
'That would have been really hot.' Sa isip isip nito.
'Oh Mr. Barber, stop testing me.' Ika nito. Then she rubbed her non exisiting boobs at Edward's arm caressed the inside of his thigh. 'That is if you do not want to have blue balls by the end of this flight.'
'Shit!' Napa-iktad naman si Edward sa kinauupuan sa ginawang paghaplos ni Maymay. Her boobs may not be as big as what he's used to but he started to find it sexier than all of the others he've seen. He like's it when his hand cover the whole of it without making any effort.
Maymay saw that Edward was immediately affected by what she've done through the bulge in his crotch. That made her laugh so hard that other passengers gave them a look.
'Sorry!' Maymay apologized for the noise to the other passengers.
'You know what woman?! You really are the death of me!' Then he grabbed her face and gave her a steamy kiss.
And no, he didn't care whether everyone's watching.
He just really needed to kiss her girl.
