A/N: Hello guys! Thank you SO much for 1k!! WOW! This is truly amazing. As a thanks to all the votes and the 1000 reads we have written another Rierra fanfic, this time a shorther one. It's called "Why am I Falling?" and will be updated alongside this fanfiction on this account. Thanks again and we hope that you will enjoy this new chapter.

Ramin:

Ramin had conflicted feelings about this day. It was always exiting to move into the theatre. It was like a football match, everyone was in a good mood, thrilled and was singing. But the fact that Sierra had been acting weird lately made everything much more complicated. He wanted to know what was wrong so badly. Something inside told him that it was his fault, but he prayed that that feeling was wrong.

Ramin was early and stood outside waiting, only the children and their parents were there too. He stood silent and listened to the two small creatures talking about what their dressing rooms might look like and what they wanted to decorate them with. All their talking was cute, but it seemed like they could go on forever. He smiled when he heard them talk about when the moved into the theater when they did School of Rock, both almost jumping because of the big hand movements. Well, grown-up musical actors were often considered as hype and childish, then think about the children actors.

As the minutes went by it was soon time to be let in and people were slowly joining them. All the cast members, ensemble part, the orchestra and even Lucy Simon the composer were there. It was thrilling and a little bit nerve wrecking. Ali had joined him by the wall. She was dressed in a black coat and a little red hat today, which made her seem much younger than she was. Not that she was old, it just made her look younger. Ramin was very grateful that he hasn't said that out loud. Otherwise it would have been quite awkward. Finally the director came to let them in. Ramin could not help but notice that Sierra wasn't there. Had she slept in? That was not at all like Sierra. She was a morning person and the most awake person in the morning he had ever met. Was she even alright? It did not feel great considering the past few days. Then Warren spoke up;

- We're all here now so let's go inside.

It was followed by a little "yay!" and people started walking to the door. But, where was she?

- Warren?

- Yes, Ramin; he answered with a smile as Ramin ran to his side.

- Do you know where Sierra is?

Warren gave Ramin a knowing smile this time which he had no clue of was it was about.

- Yes, sadly she called in sick this morning.

With that he walked away leaving Ramin alone with his thoughts. What was wrong? Normally he would just text her and ask, but he did not know if she wanted him to talk with her. It did not seem like it. Sierra, this was not the time to get sick. Not only because they had important days at the theater before previews which alone were important, Ramin knew that it would not affect Sierra that much. She was skilled and would definitely cover this in no time. But because the confusion in Ramin and Sierras relationship. Ramin wanted to fix that more than anything in the world. Even though Sierra did not have feelings for him he could not lose her as a friend. Their friendship was far too important to him. After everything with Mandy, he did not dare to be left alone, not without anyone to help him get through his day. Of course he had other friends, but none as important as Sierra. He would always have his boys, but they lived in London. Amanda and he had both agreed that it was for the best. Ramin had not said it because of being nice, it was best for them, even is it was sad for him. But Ramin needed friends, not only friends like Ali or other people in the cast. He needed his best friend. He need Sierra.

Sierra:

Sierra was lying in her bed, half sleeping. She was feeling like crap; her head was still reacting to every sound. Sierra hadn't been able to do anything all day, she had tried eating a little bit of food, but it seemed like she lost her appetite. It was a long time ago she last been this sick, normally when she was feeling a little off, it wasn't this much. Usually she would go to work, get through the day and rest at the mornings and days but today there was no question. She had no power doing anything. It was hard enough calling Warren and saying that she was sick wondering if he wanted her to be there for something. But he had said that it sounded outrageous that she wanted to come to work in her state and that she should rest at home. She did as he said, so right know she was lying in her bed under a duvet. She was very cold, curling into a ball to keep herself warm. It wasn't enough, but she had no energy go get another duvet or a blanket.

Sierra had no clue what time it was, she had been trying to sleep but been unable to. She felt feverish and so tried, and it wasn't like she had an easy week before she got sick. Everything with Ramin and how he suddenly had gotten close with Ali. She didn't want to admit it but she was jealous because of how much Ramin was with Ali. What if he liked her? Not that Sierra liked him or anything, but it still hurt a lot. However, Ramin had other friends than her and she shouldn't be jealous because of that. Out of nowhere her doorbell rang, the noise echoing in her head. Who would like to see her now? Sierra felt like hugging her pillow and just close her eyes and ignore whoever it could be, but as the doorbell rang again, hurting her head in the progress, she figured she might need to open. So, she forcefully dragged herself out of bed. Standing up for the first time this afternoon wasn't pleasant. Sierra's legs were shaky under her body and the sudden movement made her head start beating. Slowly she started to walk towards the door and looked out of the peephole.

Her heart stopped for an instant when she saw who it was. What did he want here, Sierra had totally ignored him for almost a week. It had been too hard to do anything else and now was not the time to make things better. Oh gosh, Sierra looked down at her clothes, she was wearing her pajama; an enormous shirt with her old collage logo on and black shorts. These clothes were comfortable, but it wasn't like Sierra wanted anyone to see her in them, and especially not Ramin. And it wasn't just her clothes, she was not wearing any makeup. Considering the fact that she only had been up trying to eat and failed it wasn't weird, but still. She probably had bags under her eyes because of the lack of sleep. Sierra did not want Ramin to see her like this, but what choice did she have now? So, Sierra opened the door slowly and there he stood with an extremely concerned face and those so beautiful brown eyes. For a moment they just stood there watching each other and Sierra felt like crying when Ramin burst out;

- Good Lord, Sierra how are you?

Ramin walked into her apartment and closed the door behind him. Sierra looked up at him, blinked and then threw herself into his arms. Ramin was really taken aback, but eventually let his arms find their way to her waist. Sierra snuggled her head into his good smelling chest closing her eyes shut trying to ignore the growing pain in her head. To her surprise she felt herself shake uncontrolled. All her feelings just washed over her and absorbed her, causing her to start crying. Even though her current mood, it did feel amazing to be held by Ramin; his arms felt so steady and strong yet so warm and comforting. He slowly stroke her back, humming some melody into her ear. Sierra let all her tears fall and she held onto Ramin like he was the last hope of the world. Ramin was so patient, he just stood there and let his hand carry up and down her back and now and then telling her it would be alright. Sierra cried for everything she felt like crying for, for the last couple of days. It was like the wall she had built up just fell apart at once.

After a while Sierra eventually stopped crying. It took a while but it stopped and she slowly drew away from Ramin, her head was even worse than before. It felt like it could explode any second. She looked down at her feet trying to ignore his warm brown eyes as she said, almost in a whisper, with her thin cracking voice;

- Thank you so much for coming.

He reached a finger too her cheek and moved her head, so she was forced to look into his eyes. He looked like he was searching for something. Investigating her eyes, concern was all over his face. Then he moved his hand away to wipe away some tears that still were on her face. While he was doing so she closed her eyes, enjoying the moment, and tiredness came over her again. She let out a sigh. She would probably have been able to sleep right there if she would not have been so cold.

- Sierra; Ramin whispered. I think it is best that you go back to bed.

Sierra just nodded and without understanding what she was doing, she started to slowly walk back to her room. When she got there, she fell back onto her bed with her head beating and feeling heavy. It was like her whole body was protesting and she was trembling like crazy. Then Sierra felt Ramin put some more blankets over her and her trembling stopped. Something lifted the covers and she felt a weight moving the bed. Wondering what it could be an arm was put around her waist and a great warmth was spread through her whole body. This would have been one of the most confusing days of Sierra's life, but she was so bad she didn't think about everything that had been going on between them for almost a week now. She just turned around in his embrace to face Ramin's beautiful face. He put his other arm around her as she buried her face in his chest. Ramin quietly hummed melodies into her ear and Sierra felt herself relax more and more, taking more and more steady breathes. The last thing Sierra remembered that night was thinking about how wonderful this closeness was.
