Of reality

The unanswerable question
Frozen for all time
Was asked- in person.
Lips finally met. The air rung with a moment so profound.
I answered
Before waking
And woke to feel myself in your arms.
Walk with you under my skin.
Oh how sweet the torment, the truth of this world unseen by any others.
I will carry it with me always.
We can float on
Hope rising and falling like the tide
