Ripples of circle, in the pond of life
Where creatures live in darkness & roots in mud,
Or the freedom of whole blue & filtering light
From an arc of rainbow, the color of sun's red.
The curtain of vines; tangling, untangling
Climbing high or laying low?
Dewdrops on the soft pink petals that float
With beauty, courage & magical hope.
