"Now what?" Buford and Baljeet asked as they shrugged their shoulders in unison.
"What about we watch movies?" Isabella said excitedly.
"That's a good idea. Ferb, I know what we're gonna do tonight." Phineas said. He ran to the living room to prepare some movies as the others followed him.
"What movies would you like to watch?" Phineas said. He opened the VCD box and browsed for some movies that he and the others wanted to watch.
"Stumbleberry Finkbat," Ferb said as he raised his finger.
"Interstellar" Baljeet said excitedly as he jumped up and down with a wide grin on his face.
"Boring" Buford groaned.
"Phineas, do you have something about romance and action?" Isabella asked.
"As you wish, cupcake," Phineas said as he grinned to Isabella. She couldn't help but blushed when Phineas called her with that nickname.
"Okay, so we're gonna watch all of these movies. Stumbleberry Finkbat, Interstellar, and Star Wars Episode IV. I'm not sure that's a romance movie or not." He raised the disk one by one.
"That's okay, crumb cake," Isabella said. She put her arms around Phineas from behind. Phineas smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Which one should we watch first?" The triangle-headed boy asked his friends.
"Interstellar" Baljeet said loudly as he jumped up and down many times.
"Okay then," Phineas answered. He walked in front of the TV and turned on the VCD player. He put in the disk that he wanted to watch. He walked back to the couch where the others seated. Then he took a seat next to Isabella and put his arm on her waist. They locked their mouth as the movie played. Phineas took a glance at the clock on the wall. It was already nine o'clock.
*1 hour later*
Everyone fell asleep except Phineas and Isabella. Buford used Baljeet's back as a pillow. Ferb didn't lay down at all. He remained seated up straight but both of his eyes were closed.
"Well, I think we're the only one who still awake." Phineas took a gaze at Isabella's shiny eyes.
"Yeah, I think so," Isabella answered.
"I'm kinda bored right now," Phineas said.
"Me too. The movie is boring."
"Yup, do you wanna go to the backyard with me?" Phineas asked.
"At night? Sounds cool to me." Isabella said with a soothing pitch.
"Alright," Phineas said as he stood up and grabbed Isabella by the hand. They opened the glass door and walked to the backyard. They took a seat in the middle of the lawn under the sky decorated by many shining stars.
"You know what, because I'm oblivious, it doesn't mean that I didn't have a crush," Phineas admitted.
"I used to had. She was Emma." He said. Isabella's heart was almost broken by Phineas' words. Tears began to flood her eyes.
*flashback*
*4 months ago at school*
Phineas' seat was behind Emma's. He sometimes took a look at the slim blonde girl dreamily. Then the class teacher broke the silence.
"Alright everyone, now pick a partner. Write a short story with your partner and read it in front of the class. Are two hours enough?" Mrs. Cassandra explained.
"Yes," The students said in unison.
"Okay, I'll be back." Mrs. Cassandra said as she walked out of the class.
The red-haired boy wanted to be with Emma but suddenly Isabella moved her chair and put it beside Phineas' and sat next to him
"What'cha lookin'?" Isabella said with a flirty tone.
"Uh, nothing." Phineas lied. He scratched his ear in nervous.
"Can I be your partner?" Isabella said with a cute smile on her face. Phineas didn't answer but took a look at Emma. Ben walked to her and sat next to her.
'Ugh, that Ben guy again.' Phineas thought to himself. He never liked Ben because he always been flirty at Emma. Phineas was kinda jealous. No, not kinda but really jealous. He was sure that Emma would reject Ben. But he was wrong. Emma held Ben's arm which made Phineas almost set on fire. Then suddenly Isabella swung her arm in front of his eyes which made Phineas paid attention to her.
"Umm, Phineas," Isabella called him curiously.
"Ye-Yeah, what?" Phineas answered as he snapped back to reality.
"Can I be your partner?" She asked.
"Uh, of course. Yes, you can." He nodded.
While everyone was writing, the only thing in Phineas' mind was Ben's story will be the worst in the class. Phineas couldn't focus on his writing. His emotion was still unstable.
Two hours had passed. Everyone had read their story in front of the class except Phineas and Isabella, and Ben and Emma.
"Alright Phineas and Isabella, It's your turn." Mrs. Cassandra
"Okay, Mrs. Cassandra," Phineas said. Both of them stood up and walked to the front of the class. They read the story loudly so everyone in the class could hear them. They read the story for about 5 minutes. They walked back to their seat when they had done read.
"Good work, Phineas and Isabella. Emma and Ben, it's your turn." Mrs. Cassandra said. Ben stood up and grabbed Emma by the hand which made Phineas almost fried.
They read the story in front of the class. When they were done, Phineas couldn't believe it because their story was obviously better than Phineas' and everyone in the class clapped at them.
'UGH, IS THIS A NIGHTMARE?' Phineas thought to himself. Then suddenly the bell rang.
"Class dismissed. See you tomorrow." Mrs. Cassandra said as she walked out the class.
Phineas put in all of his stuff inside his bag and walked away. He wanted to talk to Emma who was already outside the class.

But he was too late. Phineas' jaw dropped to the ground when he saw Emma walked hand in hand with Ben. Phineas ran away as fast as he could in jealousy. He didn't mind to talk to Isabella or even his stepbrother, Ferb. Tears began to wash his eyes.
*end of flashback*
"But now, you are here for me. I'm so sorry because of my obliviousness. You are everything for me, Bella." Phineas said as he hugged Isabella tightly who was almost cried at the moment.
"Oh, look. A shooting star. Make a wish." Phineas said as he pulled away and pointed the shooting star.
"It's already come true." Isabella smiled at him.
She suddenly kissed Phineas directly on the lips without a doubt. Phineas put his arm on her back and used the other arm to stroke her hair. Isabella could feel Phineas began to kiss back. She put her hand on Phineas' neck to pull him harder. They laid down to the ground. They could feel caressing soft grass beneath them. Then they pulled away to take a breath.
"I love you," Phineas said with his eyes half closed.
"I love you too," Isabella said and gave a peck on Phineas' cheek.
"I gotta get used to this. I could feel strong strawberry lip gloss." Phineas touched his lips with his finger and chuckled. Isabella let out a giggle. Then Phineas took a glance to his watch. It was already midnight.
"Shall we get inside?" Phineas asked with his eyebrows raised.
"We should," Isabella answered with a soothing pitch.
They walked to the glass door hand in hand. When they arrived at the living room, they noticed that the movie had ended. Buford and Baljeet were there but Ferb wasn't. This made Phineas suspicious.
"Ferb, are you using the cloaking device again?" Phineas asked loudly.
No answer.
Then he saw his stepbrother walked from the kitchen with a cup of water on his hand. He was already in a pajama
"Oh, there you are, Ferb," Phineas said.
"You guys should go to bed," Ferb said to the couple. Then he went to his sleeping bag and went back to sleep next to Baljeet.
"Shall we?" Phineas asked Isabella.
"We shall," Isabella said and grinned at him. Phineas opened his sleeping bag next to Ferb and opened Isabella's beside his. When he looked back at Isabella, she was already in her pajamas.
"Wow, you are quick." Phineas impressed.
"Yeah, now it's your turn to change. I will wait here." Isabella said.
"Okay then," Phineas said and walked upstairs.
Phineas' POV
That day was a great day. I kissed with Isabella many times. I didn't know she had a crush on me since the first time I met her. Was I that oblivious? At least she replaced my feeling to Emma. She was much cuter and more beautiful and cooler than Emma. But why I just realized that right now? Maybe because she was my best friend. I didn't know.
I burst into my room immediately and opened my wardrobe. I quickly picked up my pajamas and put it on. I ran downstairs and Isabella was already in her sleeping bag but she didn't sleep yet.
"You haven't slept yet?" I asked her.
"No, cutie. I'm waiting for you." She said and smirked at me. I couldn't believe she called me with that nickname. I realized that I was so special for her. I laid down in my sleeping bag, closed my eyes and dreamed about her.
Isabella's POV
Today was the greatest birthday I had ever had or maybe the greatest day of my life. Finally, Phineas noticed me and the best thing was, I kissed him more than one time.
I couldn't believe that he already fell asleep. He looked cute when he was sleeping.
"Sleep well, Phinny," I whispered and kissed his forehead. He smiled slightly but his eyes were closed. I couldn't help but giggle.
Then suddenly there was a stupid idea flashed into my mind. A very stupid idea.
'What are you thinking? Don't you dare to do that.' Half of myself argued.
'Just do it. Soon he will be your boyfriend so, why not?' Another half of myself argued.
'Don't listen to her. It's bad. You shall not do it.'
'Why? He already noticed you, just do it'
'Don't you dare'
'Just do it'
'Don't'
'Do it'
'Don't'
'I want some french fries.'
'Wait, what?'
'Nevermind, just do it!'
'NO'
"Enough!" I blurted out. I threw my hand on my mouth as fast as I could. I might wake someone but luckily, I didn't. I let out a sigh in relieved.
I finally decided to do what my mind told me. I moved and slept next to Phineas in the same sleeping bag. I gave him a short kiss on his lips. I decided to close my eyes. Our nose was touching at the moment until finally, I fell asleep.
