The man himself even said we all deserve to die. He even said he deserves to die. Well he did. The life drained out of him. A blade was raised to his bare throat and it released 'precious rubies' as he had told that it once would. His lifeless corpse oozing blood in the cold cellar located under Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Emporium on the Fleet Street. It was official, Sweeney Todd was dead.
That man wasn't alone when he joined the grave. A woman had been tossed away in a burning furnace seconds before. The flames just consumed her body and left ashes. It was official, Eleanor Lovett was dead.
They're dead. Both dead. The living life had vanished from their bodies and now their dead. It was from that exact second when life was gone and they entered the land of the dead, or in other words, The Afterlife.
