Okay okay I get it. In Infinity War a lot of people die. And apparently in every marvel book known to man the oc has to die too. Why? Because the death of the main character builds an ending that you domt have do worry about expanding on. It brings out an interesting side in the s/o or the characters friends. And it brings a he'll of a lot of tears to the readers sad sad eyes
But guess what! Behold an alternate ending to your story! Youre oc doesnt die! I know I know its crazy absolutely mad but wouldnt it be just great if you use one of the other 18374827372 alternates other than death.
Your character that you built from the beginning and carefully crafted gets killed in one chapter. And its gotta be something totally crazy right ? Wrong.
An o/c dying used to be so taboo omg it was never heard of and it made the best stories even better. But now it's like the most common ending I can think of. Its really lost its touch.
I am yearning for a story that goes so far into detail that tells you everhthing you want to know written beautifully and a wholesome story where the character lives and has happiness. Because thats the crazy ending now. The whole thing had flipped.
