Fic Title: Gay Gangstas
Y/N's POV
"Peko, we have more important things to discus than a stupid crush." I told my cousin sternly, giving her a cold glare. "I'm very busy with school work and combat practise. Please leave me alone."
Peko returned the glare. Oh, wait, nevermind, she was trying to smile. "I understand that. However, Fuyuhiko—"
"I said to leave me alone. Did I stutter or something?"
"No, but—"
"Then go."
She gave me a slightly hurt look, only for it to warp into a facade of understanding. She left my door half open and I continued working on whatever I was doing.
Minutes turned to hours. The hours ebbed away and nightfall soon reared its hypothetical head. Three blunt knocks on my bedroom door knocked me out of my thoughts.
I turned, nervously wondering if it was Fuyuhiko. No, it was jut Peko again.
"What?" I said, rolling my eyes and turning my back to her.
"Fuyuhiko is at the door."
I stopped writing down notes and dropped my pen. "You did this?" I said, stupidly.
"Indeed I did."
"Hey, Peko, is Y/N there or what?!"
I spun back around and made a mad dash downstairs. Peko was staring intently at us, her cherry red eyes burning into our backs.
"Hey, Fuyuhiko!" I greeted awkwardly.
"Can I come in? It's freezing out here, Jesus..."
"Oh, um, sorry. Sure." I stepped out of the way to let the short gangster in. He spotted Peko, who was lurking on the stairs. "Okay, I came to see Y/N like you wanted, piss off." She nodded and briskly walked to some other room in the house. My heart stung.
Fuyuhiko stood, glancing around the place. "Peko said you needed me or something. Care to explain?"
"One sec."
I ran into to bathroom as normally as I could manage and took a look at myself in the mirror. My face was bright red.
"Calm down." I told myself, probably sounding like a lunatic. "I just... yeah, I just need to cool my face down, play it cool, and repress these feelings forever. This is fine."
I was still in the closet. Fuyuhiko was fully out but I was barricaded in with the strength of one-thousand suns. I was only out to Peko, and the thought of people judging him, let alone me, would break me apart.
"And that's why I'm not telling anyone." I noted to myself.
I cupped my hand and splashed ice-cold water in my face. My face was still blushing but at least it wasn't as obvious.
"Y/N? You okay?" Fuyuhiko's muffled voice came from the other side of the door, followed by a couple of brief knocks.
"Fine!" I managed to say, quickly drying my face and leaving the bathroom.
"Okay, are you sure you're okay? You look kind of red. Were you crying in there or something?"
"Fine, I swear."
"If some bastard made you cry I swear I'll—"
"Fuyuhiko!" I exclaimed. "I'm fine. Just nervous."
Needless to say I didn't plan to say the last part.
"Nervous? About what?" His tome was softening slightly.
I took a deep breath in attempts of stalling him. "Fuyuhiko, you know how you like both guys and girls?"
"Huh? Yeah, and...?"
"And... I... just like guys." My voice was extremely quiet. "Like... only guys. I'm gay."
"That's what you were getting so worked up about? You know I'd support you the same no matter who you like!" He seemed offended, almost angry.
"But the thing is..."
"Go on...?"
"Ilikeyou." I rushed out the words very quickly.
He gave me a long stare. He was slowly turning red. Had I pissed him off?
He glanced away for a second. "Would it be okay if I did this...?"
Before I could respond he kissed me quick, on the lips and we both immediately panicked, unsure of what to do. I was internally screaming, he was (probably) internally screaming, so we just kissed again to try and shut our minds up.
He pulled away. "Full homo?"
"Full homo."
Peko's POV
The floorboards of the house were very thin. I could hear every word.
I don't remember the last time I smiled so wide.
