TAEHYUNG'S POV
it's been a 2 days since I haven't heard of Y/N.
It drove me mad crazy knowing she's not here. Mina told me that Y/N is just fine. But I was unease.
It doesn't help me calm down.
Mina told me that she just went on vacation because her dad told her to do so and knowing Y/n, she wouldnt just do something like that without telling me.
My phone rang and it was from Mina.
"Yeoboseyo ?" I spoke
"Oh hello Mr. Kim. Uhm, Mr Jeon is calling you to go to his office because he has something to tell you" mina says and I was confused.
Why would he call me ?
"Yeah sure." I hang up.
I go to Mr Jeon's office.
I slowly bow
"You called me.. Mr Jeon" I mumbled
"Yeah I did. Please take a sit" he says as he motioned me to sit across him.
I obliged.
"So.. About Y/n." He spoke and i felt myself get alive
Is he telling me where is she ?
"You.. Actually cheated to my daughter" he say
What ?
"I had someone following you and he has proof that you are cheating on Y/n" he says as he put pictures infront of me.
it was a picture of me and a girl kissing me at the bar when I told Y/n I had a prior commitment.
I remained silent
"But that's not really the issue." He says
"I want you to stay away from my daughter from now on." He says
I scoff "do you honestly think I'll do it?"
"Well you better do it. Y/N has been having troubles on the company.. And if she didn't marry Jimin, our company will go bankruptcy." he says
"And this company, means alot to Y/N. This is like her empire." He says
"Just leave Y/N alone. Just file a resignation form on me and just disappear from her life without telling her the reason. And I won't tell her also about the girl you kissed" he says
I narrowed my eyes at him
"Are you telling the truth ?"
"Course I am. " he says
"Then, can you at least tell me.. Where is she?" I asked
"No I can't. But the only thing I could tell you is, she's with jimin right now" he says
My stomach just churned in extreme disgust and anger.
"Are you sure she'll be okay with him?" I asked as I try to suppressed the anger building inside of me
"Certainly." He replied
"Fine then." I agreed.
"But.." I paused
He looks at me " promise me, You'll stop forcing Y/n to get married to Jimin. at least give them time to get to know each other.. Y/n isn't ready to get married yet. if you broke the promise, I'll show up instead and steal her away from you and jimin." i say

Y/N'S POV
"Jiminssi" I called out
"Jiminssi"

"Yah. You keep on calling me jiminssi" he laughs
"You are taking forever to cook" I say
"It'll be done after a few more minutes" he replied
"I'm hungry" I say
"And so am I Y/n" he laughs
"Please hurry up" I whine he just chuckled
After a few minutes, he put a plate infront of me. the food that he cooked was steak and some carbonara.
Mouth watering. I know.
I grinned happily and clapped
" bon appétit " I say as I digged in. He let out a soft laugh
"You actually eat really well. I like it" he gave me a smile.
"I'm actually a big eater." I say
"Yeah, and it's cute" he says as he ruffled my hair
I know I blushed so I look down While eating.

we were there for a week.
The ahjussi gave back our passport and cellphones. He says it was okay for us to go back to Seoul now.
I immediately opened my phone.
A lot of miss calls were from Taehyung. 127 times to be exact.
I grinned. Why am I so excited to see him!
I dialed his number.
he didn't answered at the 1st call.
2nd too he didn't.
The 3rd one too he didn't.
I can't help but sigh
Maybe he's just working.
Jimin dropped me off of my company.
"See you around Y/n" he says and I just nod and smiled.
I walked in hoping to see Taehyung but I only see mina.
"Mina" I called her and she smiled at me
"Yes Y/n?" She ask
"Where's Taehyung?" I asked
"Huh? You didn't know ?" She asked me
"What should I know ?" I asked
"He filed a resignation form to Mr Jeon. he quitted his job 5 days ago." She says and my jaw was left hanging.
"Are you... For real?" I asked
"Do you think I'm kidding?" She asked
I sighed and quickly run to the parking lot to get my car there.
I hurriedly opened my gps to locate Taehyung and he was at this apartment. I am so glad he left it open.
I went to the address and jogged upstairs because the elevator was broken.
I knocked on his door but it was surprisingly open. So I went in.
It smelled like alcohol.
I opened the lights.
Bottles of soju was everywhere.
but I was glad yeontan was at his playpen and has some food and water. At least he was still a responsible owner.
I pet yeontan then went to the cr and kitchen to look for Taehyung.
His house was a mess. I walked towards a room I haven't checked yet
It was Probably his room.
I opened it and turned on the light switched.
I saw a sleeping taehyung But as soon as I opened the lights, his eyes opened
"Taehyung" I called out as I sat beside his bed. He looked at me.
His expression was unreadable.
"What are you doing here ?" His voice turned out to be cold.
"Why did you resign?" I asked as I brush away his bangs away from his eyes
"because I wanted to." He spats out as he sat down
"Go Away. We got no business to deal with anymore" he says as he looks away
"but.." I trailed off
"Can you just go away ? I don't need you anymore. In fact, I have saved a lot of money thanks to your company." He says
"Now that I finally saved a lot, I can finally let an annoying person like you away from me." he says and i felt a sharp pang on my heart
"So you just were just stuck with me because of the money ? You never seen me as a friend then" I say as tears brimmed to my eyes
"You're like a money maker to me." he says harshly
"And I would never be your friend." He added
I felt my heart broke into tiny little pieces.
"Damn, I never knew you could break my heart again like you did a long time ago" I say as tears starts to roll down.
He finally look at me
"I was a part of your life before. But you don't remember me at all" I mumbled
"But at least, it's okay for you not to remember.. So that.. I am the only one to forget it and should move on" I sob
I stood up and turned my back at him. I was supposed to go but I heard a sob escape his mouth and that made me stopped my tracks
But I didn't look at him.
"Are you her ?" He asked quietly i looked at him finally
He was wiping his tears away trying to act tough.
"The girl that I confessed to before the accident happened ?" He asked more
"You remember what happened before the accident?" I asked
"Yes... But the faces were blurry to me." He says then look at me. His eyes were red and puffy.
"Are you her ?" He asked once more and stood up to walk towards me
I look up at him and ask,
"What if I was her ?"
He didn't just say anything, he just hugged me.
"If it was you, know that I'm sorry"
TAEHYUNG'S POV
and that I love you.
I'm so stupid.
the reason why I can't fall in love for someone completely was because of you.
I was searching for you in everyone.
I know I might've forgotten you.. But know that, my heart never did.
The moment I saw you on your office the very first time, I felt the connection between us but I just shrugged it all off.
Now.. I'm letting you go again.
I broke down in tears
"I'm sorry. But please go. Don't ever see me again.. Please.. And don't cry for me and I will not cry for you too. This will be the first and last time" I say as I hugged her tightly
she now broke down
"I hate you. I really hate you." she chanted repeated but she hugged me
"I hate you." She mumbles
"I hate that I love you."
" I honestly hate that I still love you" she cries
"My feelings for you.. are already gone... Please erase your feelings towards me too." I force myself to say
"how could you say it as if it's very easy to do ?" She cried even more
"You have to, so move on. This will be the last time you'll ever see me again" I say
"What do you mean by that ?" She sniff
"I'm going away from you from now on. So pick yourself up.." I plead
"Please don't do reckless thing and do something stupid... I won't be there to protect you." I closed my eyes and say
It honestly breaks my heart.
"fuck, how can I love and hate you at the same time?" She cried out
Don't love me because I'm a bad person. I kept on breaking your heart, with or without my memories of you.
I just held her in my arms. Comforting her. While I try my best too to not cry.
I still love you Y/N..
But your future is what's more important. I can't give you the life you're living right now, but jimin can.
I'm sorry.
I have to let go of you, for your own sake.
