~Yoomis POV~
After washing my face I changed into some clothes that would be comfortable enough to dance in.
I look at the time and Daniel should be here any minute.
I grab my phone and head downstairs.
I see my mom sitting on the couch watching some tv show.
Y/N: Hey.
Yoomi: Hey..
Y/N: Is everything okay?
I nod my head and then the doorbell rings.
Finally.
I open the door and see Daniel.
I let him in and we make our way to the living room.
Yoomi: Mom this is Daniel. Daniel this is my mom.
Daniel bows his head and says a respectful hello to my mom.
Y/N: Hello Daniel. It's nice to meet you.
Yoomi: Where's Dad?
Y/N: Shower.
I nod.
Yoomi: Well if you need us we'll be down in the basement practicing.
Y/N: Okay. Have fun!
We make our way downstairs to the basement aka our dance studio.
Daniel: Wow. You have a dance studio in your house?
Yoomi: Yeah. Me and my mom love dancing too much to not have one.
A small chuckle escapes my mouth.
Daniel: So should we get started?
Yoomi: Let's do this.
~2 Hours Later~
We both sat in the floor trying to catch our breaths.
Daniel: You dance really good.
Yoomi: Me? You're the one that's good at dancing.
He chuckles and lays back against the floor.
Daniel: We're both pretty good.
I agree and lay beside him.
We both stare at the ceiling.
His shirt came up a little and I noticed a bruise on his side.
I instantly sat up and examined it.
Yoomi: What happened?
He quickly pulls his shirt down and hides the mark.
Daniel: It's Nothing.
He's lying.
I sigh and lay back down.
Yoomi: Can I tell you something?
Daniel: Of course.
His voice grew soft and he focuses on me.
Yoomi: So I just found out something about my parents..
I pause for a moment. Not knowing if I should go on or not.
But he takes my hand in his and looks me deep in the eyes.
Daniel: I'm listening.
I sigh and stare at the ceiling, still holding his hand.
Yoomi: I over heard my mom and dad talking in the kitchen and it turns out my dad slept with another woman..
His grip tightens a little.
Yoomi: So that's why we went to Florida.
Daniel: I'm sorry Yooms. But think, if you never went to Florida then we might not even be friends right now.
He's right.
Even though this whole thing sucks, at least I get him out of it.
I smile and look at him.
We looked into each other's eyes but he moved his gaze to my lips.
Slowly he moved his face closer and closer to mine.
I could feel my heart beating out of my chest.
Finally he was hovering his face right above mine.
Lips only inches away.
Oh my gosh. He's about to kiss me! He's about to kiss-
Yoongi: YOOMI!!!!
We hear my dad yell from upstairs.
He sighs and moves his face away from mine.
Daniel: Maybe next time.
I blush and stand up from the floor.
Yoomi: YEAH?!?
I yell back.
Yoongi: IT'S TIME FOR DINNER AND FOR YOUR FRIEND TO LEAVE!!
Y/N: OR HE COULD STAY FOR-
Yoongi: NO IT'S TIME TO GO!!
I sigh and cover my face with my hands.
Daniel just chuckles.
Yoomi: I apologize for my dad.
Daniel: No need. I understand why he would wanna keep you safe.
I smile and he does the same.
Yoomi: I'll walk you out then.
He nods his head and we make our way back upstairs.
Once we get in the living room we see my dad and mom sitting on the couch.
I look at Daniel and his eyes were slightly widened looking at my dad.
Y/N: It was nice having you here Daniel.
He quickly changes his gaze and met my mothers eyes.
He smiles and bows once more.
Daniel: I'll see you tomorrow Yooms.
He looked different.
I nod my head and wave to him as he walks out of the door.
Why did he look at my dad like that?
My thoughts were interrupted by my dads voice.
Yoongi: Yooms? HA. I don't like him.
Y/N: Well I do. He's adorable.
My dads eyes widened and looked at her.
Y/N: What?
I sigh and start to walk upstairs.
Y/N: Oh Yoomi dinners ready.
Yoomi: I'm not hungry.. I'm just gonna take a shower and go to sleep..
Before either of them could say anything I went straight into my room and took a shower.
After I was done I got into some sleep clothes and sat in bed.
I sat there and thought about everything with my parents.
Were they ever going to tell me?
Who the hell is Lexi?
I jump a little when I hear my phone go off.
Well that was weird.
I turn my phone off and quickly fall asleep.
~6:00 AM~
After turning off my alarm I get out of bed and get ready for school.
When I'm done with my hair and makeup I went downstairs for breakfast.
~At school~
After my dad dropped my off I saw Daniel walking up the sidewalk.
Yoomi: Hey Daniel!
I called out his name and he smiles.
Daniel: Hey Yooms. How about we ditch today.
My eyes widened.
Yoomi: I've never ditched school before.
Daniel: Oh come on. It'll be fun.
Yoomi: I don't know..
Daniel: I'll buy you ice cream.
I sigh and look at the building of hell.
Yoomi: Fine.
He smiles and grabs my hand, leading me away from the school.
After we got our ice cream we went straight to a small park.
It was empty besides the two of us.
Daniel: Yoomi..?
Yoomi: Yeah?
Daniel: How much do you know about your dads past?
I sit there and think about it. But strangely nothing comes up.
Yoomi: I honestly don't know.
Daniel: Ah. So he hasn't told you.
Yoomi: Told me what?
I look at him and frown my eyebrows.
Daniel: Yooms.. Your dad isn't who he seems to be.
Yoomi: What do you mean?
He sighs.
Daniel: Would you believe me if I told you that your dad was a gang leader?
My eyes widened.
Yoomi: W-what are you talking about? How would you know anything about my dad?
Daniel: Your dad is the most famous gang leader in Korea. And once I saw him last night.. I couldn't believe it. So when I had you tell me his name I knew it was him.
I couldn't believe this. I need some type of proof.
He couldn't be a gang leader.
Could he?
He sighs and stands up.
Daniel: Follow me.
I stand up and start following.
Yoomi: Where are we going?
Daniel: You want proof right? We're going to my house.
Yoomi: How do you know so much about this?
He stops and I do the same.
Daniel: Because..
He paused.
Daniel: I'm also a gang leader in my gang.
