I stood there still in the kitchen, glaring at her, and she watched back. She had this look on her face of helplessness, but I didn't care. I just don't give a damn anymore. I just-- I can't believe he's dead after all this time. I thought he was only being a coward and ran away cause couldn't handle a family (which is true) Not only that, he's a fucking serial killer! How can anyone look past that? And how could my mom keep that part of her life a secret from me? I thought we shared everything, but I guess not.
"How can I trust you now?" I said with a harsh tone.
"You always can, and always should. I took care of you, I raised you, and I protected you! And most of all I loved you. You and your sister!"
In the middle of that ridiculous speech I got up from the table and walked away, she tried to grab my arm and hold me back, but I pushed her away and kept walking. I didn't want to hear another word.
When I passed Isabella she was sitting on the floor watching cartoons stuffing a pancake in her mouth, she watched me make my way to walk out the door and stuffed the food in her mouth to one cheek and asked "Where are you going?"
God she is so cute. I couldn't help but turn around and answer, "im going out for a drive for a little while, is that okay?"
She nodded and continued watching TV. I couldn't leave her forever, I need her. She's the one that keeps me sane. Not only that, she needs me too.
She's my angel and she doesn't even know it.
