So far Kit hasn't received any anonymous packages at his dorm room. That didn't stop him from worrying. Who was this mystery stranger who seemed to know him so well and why did he have to hide himself. This really bugged Kit but with no leads there wasn't much he could do. Ming had moved on from that incident, especially since nothing has happened since then. His only concern was Kit, making sure his boyfriend was happy and taking care of himself. These past few weeks have been magical for both of them. They have finally finished their exams and were able to spend some quality time together. In fact Ming had a big date planned for Kit this upcoming weekend. Since the following Monday was a public holiday Ming was going to surprise Kit with a little getaway to his favourite place on earth, a little seaside village in Korea which he visited with his family as a child. It was just such a beautiful and peaceful part of the world.
As the day was nearing closer Kit was beginning to get the feeling that Ming was hiding something from him. He couldn't figure out what, scared that maybe Ming was seeing someone behind his back. When he shared his concerns with his friends they both told him not to worry. Ming had told Beam and Pha his plan and they were impressed. Ming really did love Kit more than anything. They were able to calm Kit's racing heart, promising that Ming wasn't cheating, he was just busy working on something but they couldn't say. Kit knew his friends wouldn't lie to him so he left the matter behind, trusting in his boyfriend.
When Friday rolled around Kit was surprised to find Ming waiting outside his room at 7am. Normally Ming would stay the night or Kit would stay over at Ming's place but this past week Ming was hard at work. So when Ming appeared out of the blue Kit was shocked but happy. What got his attention was Ming wasn't dressed in his school clothes. He was wearing a black t-shirt, light blue shorts and a pair of brown sandals. Not something Ming would wear on a Friday morning since he has class at 8am. Ming then gave Kit a quick kiss on the lips before entering his room and grabbed the small bag he had hidden in Kit's closet, that he had packed yesterday while Kit was in class. Kit was thoroughly confused as to what was happening.
"Ummm Ming why do you have my bag?" Kit asked. "Well Kit why don't you have a quick shower and get dressed in some casual clothes and I will explain everything once you are done ok?" Ming replied. Kit didn't argue and just did as Ming had asked. It was 20 minutes before Kit was ready to go and Ming just lead Kit out of the room, making sure to lock the door behind him, knowing if he left it up to Kit he would probably leave it unlocked. Once they were firmly seated in Ming's car Kit again asked what was going on. "You know that little seaside village in Korea you liked, well we're going there for a mini vacation" Ming said softly. Kit was lost for words. He doesn't remember telling Ming about that place but yet somehow Ming knew and was taking him back there. "But what about classes?" Kit questioned, once his shock wore off. "Don't worry Pha and Beam will take notes for you and I'll just catch up on what I missed when I get back. I just wanted to spoil you" Ming said with confidence.
Kit couldn't keep the smile off his face. The fact that Ming went through all this trouble for him made him love that guy even more. "I love you Ming" Kit said out of the blue. Ming placed a soft kiss on Kit's cheek before replying "I love you too." Ming then started his car and headed to the nearest airport where they would be taking off from. Kit was smiling and occasionally staring at Ming the whole way there. Even when they were taking off Kit still had a massive smile plastered on his face. Ming's heart was soaring at Kit's cuteness. Just when he felt he couldn't fall in love with Kit more, Kit does something that makes him go crazy and fall even deeper.
It was quite an uneventful flight but a few hours later they finally landed in Korea. During the whole flight Ming never once let go of Kit's hand which caused Kit to blush. Once they had exited the plane and collected their luggage they hailed a cab. It was going to be a 2 hour drive to the village from the airport so by the time they get there it will be almost 4pm. Just enough time to set up before heading out to dinner. They could explore the place more tomorrow, for tonight they would just rest and relax, enjoying the beautiful sounds of the ocean while having a nice picnic dinner on the beach. They spend a couple of hours laying on the beach cuddling, taking in the breathtaking view. It was such a lovely way to spend an evening.
When the night began to feel cold Ming and Kit packed up and headed back to their room to get some much needed sleep. It didn't take either one of them long to head off into dreamland. Ming had Kit safely wrapped in his arms as he feel asleep. Bright and early next morning they were awoken to the sunlight shining through their window. Both felt refreshed from the relaxing sleep they got the previous night. They quickly freshened up and had a nice, hot breakfast, made by Ming himself, before they headed out to explore the place. Kit took Ming to all his favourite places and they spent the next 2 days basking in the lovely atmosphere of this place. Ming felt like this is where he'd love to retire to, with his Kit. It had become not only Kit's but Ming's favourite place in the world and Kit was happy to be sharing it with Ming.
All too soon the trip had come to an end and they both had to head back home, promising to come back one day. Later that Monday afternoon they finally arrived back home at Kit's dorm with just enough time to get ready for the next day and to catch up on anything they missed. Both were still glowing from their little weekend getaway. Nothing could dampen their spirits from the amazing weekend they both shared. Or so they thought.
