Chapter 21
Damien
"So Harvey Andrate, what happened here?" I ask him
"Grab a seat baby, I need to tell you everything" Harvey replies patting the seat next to him
"There is more?" I ask seating down
"Yeah, remember that whole me going to the media thing?" He asks
"Yes, I really got mad" I reply
Why is he bringing this up now? I thought it was over!
"Actually, I was being blackmailed. The person threatened to discredit us before the judge and I would loose Ashton if I didn't do the exposé" he explains
"What?" I ask shocked out of my mind. I knew it was out of character for Harvey to pull a stunt like that but to actually find out he was blackmailed and he didn't tell me.
"It was the day before the hearing" he says slowly after seeing me looking clearly angry and upset.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me? Can you not trust me enough to tell me such important matters" I ask
" I do trust you, I don't know, I just panicked, am sorry" he replies looking remorseful
"Who. Did. It? I ask in clipped tones
" I just found out yesterday it was Gary, it was his voice, I can't forget it" he explains
I get up from my seat...
"Andrea's assistant? What does she have to do with this? Still you didn't come to me, really Harvey? What if he tried something? I ask getting even angrier
"I don't know, Damien, am really sorry" he says
"I know, Come with me" I tell him heading to Andrea's room.
He knocks and opens the door and Andrea comes out hurrying.
"Thank heaven's you're here Damien, see what Harvey's friend did to me, I am going to sue them" she rushes out
I look her over. She isn't worse for the wear. I get in and pull Harvey in with me and she frowns when she sees my angry face.
"Did you try to blackmail Harvey?" I ask her trying to catch her expression. She looks startled for a minute then she masks it and says,
"Is he accusing me of it? That's plain ridiculous! He's just jealous of me and our friendship!" She throws out
"So you didn't have your assistant try to blackmail Harvey at all?" I ask
"Of course not, he is just insecure about me being here he's now making up stuff, grow up Harvey!" She says all confident
"Since you are innocent, you won't mind if i call the police?" I say pulling out my phone to dial the number.
"No! No! Please don't" she begs wide eyed and pale
"Why not?" I ask
"Its true, I had Gary try to blackmail Harvey" she admits
"Why would you do that?" Harvey asks
"Because I wanted to separate you from Damien so that i can have him" she says
"That's crazy! There has never been anything between us and even though i date women, I prefer guys and you know it" I tell her
"I got money from sponsors for my upcoming show and used it to clear my debts and fund my lavish lifestyle" she says
"So you thought by separating me and Harvey, you could go out with me and have access to my money?" I ask
What a conniving little witch! Did she know how many lives she could have ruined!
"Yes, I had to get money to fund the show, the sponsors are on my neck" she replies
"And ruining the life of a baby was the correct way to do it? Couldn't you ask for a loan from me?" I say getting angry allover again
"Initially I wanted to but I got greedy, please don't report me " she begs
"And your parents?" I ask
"They cut me off financially because of the way I used to waste their money" she says
I turn around and face her.
"You know, if it was me you messed with, it would have been somehow okay, but to actually mess with my family! Our little kid and the man I love? You've crossed the line" I tell her
"You love me?" Harvey asks eyes shinning facing me. I turn to him and hold his hands.
"Yes, absolutely, I've been wanting to tell you, I've been in love with you for a while now, am crazy in love with you, I love our life, our little family and our special moments together, am addicted to you" I admit.
Finally telling him how I really felt made me feel so relieved. The moment wasn't perfect but the best moments are never perfect or planned.
I grab Harvey as he jumps on me and I hold him around the waist close to my heart.
"Damien, I love you too, I've fallen irrevocably in love with you, you've become a part of me, I really love you" he says
My heart sores and the happiness am feeling right now is ethereal. I feel light and strong like I can conquer the world. I hold him tight to me not believing this moment!
I lift his head from my chest and give him the softest most loving kiss. Then a voice interrupts me,
"Am I going to jail or what?" Andrea's annoying voice disrupts
"Go and pack everything, first thing tomorrow, I'll deal with you!" I tell her as I drag Harvey from her room.
We go to our bedroom and push Harvey on the bed as I straddle him.
"I love you" I tell him smiling down at him
"I love you too" he says as our lips connect and we kiss slowly as he runs his hands down my back.
I slowly trail kisses along his neck as his arms tighten around me. I look into his eyes and its like I am seeing him through a new light.
"I want to love you" I whisper to him as he nods his head.
"Love me" he whispers back
We strip down and just hold each because we feel like we have all the time in the world. I kiss him allover his body, I want to convey my feelings to him, I want him to feel the depth of my love him.
We hit peak after peak just touching and loving, I worship his body, he kisses me back too trying to convey his feelings.
When we come together, its an explosion, my whole body convulses and we come together like a pile of fireworks. I look at him stunned.
"It feels better when you're in love" Harvey says
" In love with the right person" I say kissing him and rolling to my back and gathering him in my arms and head to the shower.
He is so sleepy so I shower him as he holds onto my waist. We finally go to bed and fall asleep.
Next morning
Andrea has her bags all packed and I've decided to not help her with anything or any money. Besides, the sponsors have found out her deception and have taken legal action against her. Her property is going to be auctioned to cover her debts. On top of it being allover the papers. She is over!
As she is slopping downstairs, the door opens and Antonio walks in.
"What's going on? Where is Andrea going?" He asks
"Haven't you seen the papers?" She asks
"Yeah but that's no reason to throw her out, she's practically family" he says
"What's your problem?" Harvey asks
"Are you serious? She almost ruined our lives,she deserves it, she hurt Harvey" I reply ticked off
"Harvey that, Harvey this. You're giving so much importance to him like he's everything or some super hero" Antonio sneers
"I love him" I say
"I love him too" Harvey says
"Oh really! How ironic! You haven't heard? You're so naive, you think Damien Andrate loves you? Its just a damn script. This whole thing is a just a script for a movie. He's just acting. If you don't believe me, check his drawer, its the script for "DRUNKEN VOWS"!!!?" He says
I turn to Harvey as he is looking at me shocked and teary eyed...
"What?" He whispers
