(Y'n)'s POV

After school, I walked out to the car where Happy was. I spotted the car and ran over to it, waving to Ned as I did so. Peter disappeared right after school ended, but I didn't question it.

I got in the car and slid my backpack onto the seat next to me.

"How was school?" Happy asked, trying to sound enthusiastic.

"Great! I made some friends," I told him as he drove away. He nodded and closed the divider in between us. I rolled my eyes at his grumpiness and stared out the window.

The car ride was mostly silent, and we arrived at the Avengers tower after about 20 minutes.

I got out of the car and walked up to the door, opening it and walking inside.

"Hey (Y/n). How was school?" Vision asked, sitting at the counter.

"It was great! I have three friends," I said, sitting across from him and grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl.

"Very nice. What are their names?" Vision asked, grabbing an orange.

"Ned Leeds, Peter Parker, and Michelle. I don't know her last name," I said, taking a bite out of my apple. Vision looked interested.

"Tell me about them," he said, staring at the orange in his hand.

"We all like Star Wars and superheroes, and I have the same classes as Ned and Peter, and some with Michelle," I said, taking another bite of my apple.

Vision disintegrated the orange using the stone in his forehead, which made me chuckle.

"I'm working on controlling my power. Speaking of that, you should too. I can call Wanda and we can work with you today if you'd like," Vision offered. Vision and Wanda were the most powerful Avengers (in the tower at least), but I was more powerful than both of them combined.

"Sure!" I said, throwing out the apple core. I put my backpack on the ground and followed Vision into the training center.

We walked in, and he immediately went to the phone in the corner. He called Wanda and stayed over there for a while, talking to her.

I sat down on a chair and retied my shoes, so I don't trip on them. Vision walked over to the door and walked out, meeting Wanda in the hall.

They both walked in and stood in front of me.

"What do you want to work on first?" Wanda asked.

"Flying would be nice. I'm pretty rusty at it," I said with a shrug.

"Okay. First, you just fly around, and then I'll shoot stuff at you and you dodge," Wanda said. Vision nodded, agreeing that he would also be shooting stuff at me.

"Yes ma'am," I said, levitating off the ground. I flew up to the ceiling, which was about 30 feet high, and then looked down.

Holy shit, I thought, I'm up really high.

I flew around the ceiling, feeling the breeze go through my hair. I flew past the viewing window, where I saw my dad and Steve watching. I shot them finger guns as I flew past, landing on the ground next to Vision.

"Very good, now time for part two," Wanda said with her accent.

I flew up and immediately Vision started shooting at me, throwing random chairs and shit at me.

"Woah man," I said, dodging all of them. Suddenly, Wanda started shooting power balls at me, and now I had chairs AND power balls coming at me.

I dodged all of them pretty easily, since my senses were fairly keen.

After about an hour of dodging chairs and shit being hurled at me from across the room, we decided to stop.

"Good job today! We'll work on your forcefields tomorrow," Wanda said, patting my shoulder as her and Vision walked out of the room. I sat down and wiped my forehead, panting.

After about three minutes of me catching my breath, I walked back up to my room, only to be stopped by Steve.

"Hey Uncle Steve!" I said. He smiled at me.

"Good job in there! I think you'd be a great Avenger, but your dad is just too overprotective," he said with an eye roll.

"Thanks! I think so too," I said as Steve and I parted ways. I walked into my room and sat on the bottom bunk, pulling out my laptop.

There was a tap on the window, and I curiously walked over and opened it, walking onto the small balcony. I looked up to see Spiderman on the wall above my balcony.

"What's up?" he asked.

"You, apparently. Come down here," I said, trying not to freak out. He dropped down and held out his hand.

"Spiderman," he said as I shook his hand.

"(Y/n)," I said.

"How come you're here?" He asked. I couldn't let him know that I was Tony Stark's daughter, so I just made up a lie.

"I have, uh, an internship with Steve Rogers," I lied. He seemed to believe it, and walked next to me on the edge of the balcony.

"How come you're here, Spiderboy?" I asked.

"It's Spiderman. And I work with Mr. Sta- I mean, Tony, on some stuff," he said. I laughed.

"Well, I just wanted to swing by here. I actually meant to knock on another window. Sorry about that," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"It's alright, Spiderboy. I'll see you around," I said.

"It's Spiderman, but yeah, see ya," he said, swinging away.

I just met Spiderman. The dude in the posters on my wall. Spiderman knows my name. I smiled and closed the doors to the balcony.

(Next Day - Peter's POV)

I can't believe (Y/n) has an internship with Steve Rogers. Captain America! I couldn't mention it to her at school today though, because then she would know that I'm Spiderman.

The only person that knows my secret is Ned, and I'm just praying that he doesn't tell (Y/n).

"Hey Peter!" I snapped out of my daze to see (Y/n) walking next to me.

"Hey (Y/n)."

"Guess what happened yesterday," she said.

"Hm?"

"I met Spiderman! I was at the Avengers tower and he just swung onto the balcony I was on! Isn't that wild?" She asked, obviously excited.

"Wait, why were you at Avengers tower?" I asked, trying to play it cool.

"I have an internship with Steve Rogers," she explained.

"That's awesome! It's also awesome that you met Spiderman, he's really cool," I said.

"I agree. I kept calling him Spiderboy and he got annoyed with me, so I don't think he likes me very much. But, it's fine," she said in a cheery tone.

"That's probably not the case," I said. I hate when people call me Spiderboy, but for some reason, when she did it, it didn't annoy me as much.

"Well, I gotta meet Ned somewhere. See ya!" She said, running down the hall. It seems like her and Ned are really close, and for some reason I don't like that.

"You totally like her," Michelle said, walking up next to me at my locker.

"What? No I don't," I said.

"Peter, I see the way you look at her," she said in a monotone.

"Stalker," I said, grabbing my To Kill A Mockingbird book.

"I'm not a stalker, I'm just observant," she said as she walked away. I rolled my eyes and walked into english early, deciding to just get out of the halls.

"Good morning, Peter," Dr. Thompson said with a smile.

"Good morning Dr. Thompson. What are we doing in class today?" I asked as I sat down at my table. A couple of other students were also in the classroom, but they weren't important.

"A partner project," she responded.

"Do we get to choose partners?" I asked, having Ned in mind. Who would (Y/n) partner with then?

"Nope. I assigned them. You're with (Y/n)," she said, taking a sip of her coffee.

Oh great, I thought, I wonder who Ned is going to be with.

That's what sucked about having a friend group with three people. Michelle is also in the group, but she wasn't in our English.

Suddenly, the bell rang, and students slowly poured into the classroom. I didn't see (Y/n) and Ned, and I started to worry.

They came in at the last second, laughing about something. I rolled my eyes as they sat at the table. Ned didn't notice my eye roll, but (Y/n) did. She gave me a sad look and looked ahead.

Shoot. She probably thinks that I hate her now. Maybe Ned was right, I act weird around her. I don't know why, but her being with Ned and not me made me mad.

"Okay class, we're doing a partner project today. You guys are going to create a small flyer about what it would be like to live in the world that To Kill A Mockingbird takes place in. I will be picking partners," Dr. Thompson explained. (Y/n) looked back at Ned, who nodded in her direction. What does this mean?

"Ned, you're with Flash. (Y/n), you're with Peter," she announced. (Y/n) and Ned looked at each other with annoyed faces. Was (Y/n) annoyed by me?

After Dr. Thompson explained the project, everyone broke up into their pairs.

"Hey Peter," (Y/n) said, unenthusiastically. She was probably mad at me because she thinks I rolled my eyes at her. Well, I kind of did, but that's besides the point.

"Okay, I think we need to assign different roles on who does what," I said.

"Roles seem to really be your thing, Peter. Especially rolling those damn eyes of yours," she said, getting up and getting a piece of paper.

Okay, I walked right into that one.

"I'm sorry about that," I said quietly.

"Mhm," she said, even more annoyed.

"It's just that I didn't feel included, that's all," I said. I guess it was kind of true. I wanted to be with her and Ned.

"Peter, don't feel that way. You just don't ever fucking talk to me," she said, getting up again.

She was right. I don't really know why I didn't talk to her. Nervousness, maybe?

Then it hit me.

I was crushing on her.
