I tossed and turned all night thinking about all the new responsibilities I was going to have. I don’t know what’s going to happen but I’m glad I have Justin to go through this with.
I woke up that morning and Justin wasn’t beside me I finally found him sitting outside by himself. I sat down beside him “Good morning.” I said “Morning.” He said looking out at the beautiful yard. “Are you okay?” I asked
“Yeah.” He said still looking away from me I laid my head on his shoulder “You sure?” I asked “I’ve just been thinking about things.” He said “Oh…” I paused for a second then asked “Are we okay?” “Yeah.” He said finally looking at me. “Are you sure?” I asked sitting up.
“Yeah, everything just hit me this morning. We’re having a baby Aaliyah.” He said rubbing the back of his neck. “I know.” I said looking to the ground. “I’m scared.” He said leaning back against the bench. “Me too.” I said laying my head on his shoulder.

It’s been a few weeks since Jeremy’s Birthday, Justin and I went to my first Dr. appointment after we got back and I found out I’m way farther along than we thought, I was already 13 weeks pregnant which means I got pregnant when I visited Justin on his birthday.
So I was pregnant at Coachella and I had been drinking the first month or so after getting pregnant since I didn’t know but the Dr. did an ultrasound and the baby seemed to be doing fine. Later that week after we found out how far along I was paparazzi got pictures of Justin leaving a studio with Selena and they went to dinner and a movie.
When I asked him about it he said that they’re just friends and they were working on a song “Strictly Business” then the next day there were pictures of him and Selena at the zoo with Bruce and Diane which really made me rethink everything because I just feel like maybe you should be taking your pregnant girlfriend to the zoo with your grandparents not your ex but I don’t want to stress him out I know this is a very difficult situation and once the baby is here I’m hoping he settles down and we can do this together. I’m giving him some space to figure things out I understand he is scared, I don’t want to nag and push him away but I need him to do this with me.
Tomorrow is the 4th of July and last night he was at the club with his friends. He’s been out at the clubs a lot lately but I’d rather him be there than with Selena, but today I have a Dr. Appointment he told me he’d come with me and if things go well we should find out the sex of the baby.
I grabbed my phone off of my stand and called Justin it rang a few times “Hello?” He answered in his raspy morning voice “Did you remember the Dr. Appointment at 2?” I asked “Shit baby.” He said “You forgot?” I asked “Yeah I’ll get ready now and meet you there is that okay?” He asked “Okay. See you there.” I said “I love you baby.” He said “I love you too.” I said hanging up.
I got dressed and examined myself in the mirror I look a little bloated but it’s nothing noticeable I’m glad I’m not showing too much because I haven’t told anyone here at the mansion yet I’m waiting until I start showing and can’t hide it, right now I just look like I just ate a 4 course meal.
I grabbed my purse and walked downstairs and had the kitchen fix me a fruit smoothie I sat at the dining room table reading a magazine while I waited. “Hey girl.” Kendall said walking in and sitting beside me “Hey.” I said looking at her “So how excited are you for the 4th of July party tomorrow?” I asked “Pretty excited! It’s my first one since I came here.” She said
“Yeah they’re super fun.” I said “So what are you doing today?” She asked “Just going out for the day.” I said “Oh anything fun? Need a friend?” She asked “Actually Justin’s in town I’m meeting up with him.” I said “Oh awesome how are things between you two?” She asked “Good.” I replied
One of the kitchen staff brought my smoothie and sat it in front of me “Thanks.” I said “Well I have to go I’ll see you tonight.” I said standing up “Do you want to watch movies in my room tonight?” She asked. I’ve kind of been avoiding her since I came home and I feel bad she’s trying so hard to be a good friend. “Yeah sure.” I said with a smile “Yay!” She said with excitement.
I turned around and left the mansion I got in my car and headed to the Dr. Office.
I arrived at the Office I still had 15 minutes until my appointment so I waited for Justin in the parking garage. I sat there for about 10 minutes listening to Pandora and finishing my smoothie then Justin’s car pulled up, he smiled when he saw me. I got out of my car and walked over to his, he opened the door “Are you ready?” He asked
“Yes.” I said with a smile “Let’s make a bet.” He said “What?” I asked “I bet you $20 it’s a boy.” He said shutting his door “Are you serious right now?” I asked “100% serious.” He said glancing at me with his cute smirk. “Fine 20 bucks says it’s a girl.” I said
He grabbed my hand and kissed it “It’s a deal. I want a boy first so when we have a girl our son can beat up boys who are mean to our daughter” He said “That’s cute. Now I kind of want a boy.” I said with a smile. He chuckled.
We walked into the Dr. Office it was empty except for the nurses we had a contract with the Office other patience couldn’t be in there when it was time for our appointment and the Dr’s or Nurses couldn’t release anything mentioning me or Justin being there until or if we even decided to break the news to the media. If they broke this contract they’d be in major trouble, we are paying them a very large amount of money for taking good care of us, this office works with a lot of celebrities so we trust them.
“Right this way Aaliyah.” Said the blonde nurse in cute pink and purple tie dye scrubs. We followed her down the hallway and into the room. She closed the door behind us “So how are you feeling?” She asked “I’m good I haven’t been that sick lately and I’m barely showing.” I said lifting my shirt up to show her “That’s normal for some women every pregnancy is different you’re just lucky” She said glancing at Justin “I tell her that all the time.” Justin said with a smirk.
The nurse laughed “Well the Dr. will be right in.” She said walking out. We sat in silence for a moment “I hope you have you’re $20 ready.” He said “You think” I asked “Yeah we’re totally having a boy and I’m going to teach him everything and how to play sports.” Justin said grabbing my hand “What his name going to be?” I asked “Umm...” He said thinking for a moment “It has to be a dope name.” He said still thinking.
Then there was a knock on the door and the Dr. came in “Good afternoon, how are you!” He asked “Good.” We said in unison “So are we ready to find out the sex of this baby?” He asked “Yes.” I said “We already know it’s a boy.” Justin said looking at me I smiled at him. “Well let’s find out please lift your shirt up.” He said I lifted my shirt and laid back on the bed “This may be cold.” The Dr. said when he squirted the ultrasound gel on my stomach. I squeezed Justin hand and squealed a little when I felt the super cold substance Justin laughed at my reaction.
“Alright let’s see this baby.” The Dr said turning on the TV and placing the wand on my stomach we heard the heartbeat, I looked at Justin he had a big smile on his face this was reassuring to me he may be on the fence about things especially when he’s with his friends but when we’re together he seems to be totally on bored.
I think right now he’s spending so much time with friends and partying because he’s afraid he’s going to lose all of that once the baby comes, but as long as he is genuinely happy and excited I don’t mind him going out at night.
“Okay the baby is doing great now let’s see what it is.” He said moving the wand down lower “Congratulations you’re having a…”
