Me and Ward stood at each side of Skye. We moved up into my dad's office. And he wasn't smiling as he looked at Skye from his desk.
"The Rising Tide is a huge organization of hacktivists from all around the world. Any of them could have done it. It wasn't me." Skye said.
"No one's saying it was." Ward said.
"But you're thinking it, I can see you faces thinking it." Skye said looking from Ward, me, and my dad.
'That is true.' Silas said from around my neck.
"We're assessing the situation." dad said.
"Then I'm sure you're taking into account that I have been living on a plane with you this whole time. It would be impossible for me to hack SHILED." Skye said.
"Or easier. We're gonna need more than that." Dad said.
"Fine. Let me trace the hack, and I'll prove it."
Dad leans up on his desk, folding his hands together in front of him.
"I believe her, sir. And if she's telling the truth, we need to track down the person responsible." Ward says.
"I believe her too. I know Skye wouldn't do it." I said.
Dad rises from his seat.
"Dig up something, and fast. The longer Mr. Chan's missing, the more danger he's in." Dad says.
Skye nods her head before her, me and Ward exit the room. Ward goes down the stairs first and I go next, but Skye grabs my arm.
"Thanks, you guys had my back." Skye said.
"I know you wouldn't do something like that...but a small part of me did suspect you." I told her.
I sling my arm over her shoulder.
"But it's a small part. Now, come on. You got a hacker to find."

We go back to the meeting room. Skye gets to work on a small tablet as a map of our country it on the table screen. Me, Fitz-Simmons, and May watch her.
"How close are we?" Dad ask walking into the room.
"Almost there." Skye says.
"She's identified the remote-access Trojan and the infected endpoint..." Fitz says.
"And is searching for ATCP to correlate the hypertext with signature information and then..." Jemma said.
"Bob is your uncle."
"...Voilà."
Fit-Simmons say at the same time.
"Yeah...whatever they said." I said.
"You get any of that?" dad asked Ward.
"Only the uncle part." Ward says.
There's a ding sound.
"We got our origin--Austin, Texas." Skye says.
"You got a name?" Dad asked.
"Just the café our hacker worked out of, but I'm in the system. I'm gonna check to see if any credit-card charges from that day match up with any known hackers."
"We got a hit." Skye says after a moment.
A picture of a man with short brown hair and beard pops up.
"Miles Lydon, not Skye--that's to all our relief." Fitz says.
"You know him?" Dad asks.
"Every hacker in the world knows him." Skye says.
"Not just the hacker world. He infiltrated the kremlin." Jemma says.
"Yeah the picture of, uh, Putin shirtless on horse back--that was his hack." Fitz said.
"It was also his hack that got Chan kidnapped." Ward said.
"May set a course for Austin." Dad said.
"Just did." May says a ding coming from the tablet in her hand.
"What about Chan?" Skye asked.
"Jeans got a SHIELD team on the ground. Our best bet is to chase this thing from the other end. Find Mr. Lydon. Bring him in. See what he knows." Dad said.
Everyone starts to leave and I go to until I see the look on Skye's face.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah. Um, you didn't get the chance to tell me about your trip." she said.
My phone starts ringing in my pocket. I pull it out and see its and unknown number.
"Um, yeah, maybe later." I told her.
I walk out of the room and answer the call. I put it to my ear.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Rosy Posy!"
I stopped walking. A smile spread across my face.
"Aiden!" I said.
"Hi. I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything-"
"No. No your not."
"Good."
"Wait, did you call me Rosy Posy?" I asked.
"Yeah..."
"Aiden, are you blushing right now?" I asked.
There was a pause.
"No." He said.
"Ah huh. How is everything?"
"Good. I have an apartment, phone and stuff. Slowly becoming a SHIELD agent. Got an SO."
"Who? Is it the lady who's prettier than me?" I asked.
"No! She's mean but nice. Named Agent Maria Hill."
"Maria. I know her."
"Everything's finally good. And you won't believe who I'm living next too."
"Ooh who?"
"Steve Rogers."
"....I don't believe it. How do you know about Steve?"
"Hill made me have to learn everything from the Avengers. And her and Natasha have told me about him."
"Have you, um, meet yet?"
"No. He's never home when I am."
"Okay. Aiden I gotta kinda get ready, but I'll call you later."
"How about I just visit you?"
"Yeah, maybe. Bye."
"I miss you. A lot."
"Me too."
I hung up on him.
'You gotta stop.' Silas said.
"What?" I asked.
'Aiden likes you. A lot.'
"Don't you think I know that. And he knows I don't like him like that back. We're friends."
'But he wants to be with you.'
"He-"
'Wants to marry you, be the mother of his children.'
"Alright. Enough!"
'Just speaking the truth.'

AUSTIN, TEXAS
When we got to Texas we all slit up. Skye went to the café,Ward went to look around town to see if he could spot Lydon. I was with May. My dad made me go with her and keep an eye on Skye.
We were next to a building across the street from the café. I adjusted my ear piece. I had my sunglasses on.
"This is not necessary. I can sense Skye, I'll know were she is, we don't have to follow her." I said to May.
"You father thinks other wise." May says.
"And you just don't trust her. At all." I said.
May said nothing. I sighed.
"How was DC?" May asked.
"Good. Saw an old friend. Made a new one." I said.
"I know you care a lot about Skye. And you have your reasons. And I have mine, I'm not gonna trust her that easily."
"Well, that's you."
I watch as Skye comes out from the Café.
"Just left the café where miles logged in. Cashier says she hasn't seen him in over a week." Skye says through the earpiece.
"I may have eyes on him." Ward says.
Good. Now all we have to do is grab him and go.
"I've been made." Ward says. I groan.
"Really? One look in your direction and he runs. It's like you have SHIELD written across your forehead. Where's he going?" I said.
"Heading east on 5th street." Ward says.
I turn to go when May grabs my arm.
"We are suppose to keep an eye on Skye." she said.
"Sorry I want to help catch the guy." I said.
"Target is now in a silver Jeta." Ward says.
"I got him." Dad says.
"I'm coming." I say into the ear piece.
"No your not." May says.
I snatch my arm out of her grip.
"I lost him." Dad says after a moment.
I looked around. I sudden thought crossed my mind.
"Crap, where's Skye?" I asked.
"You can sense her. You find her." May says.
I took off my sunglasses and rolled my eyes before closing them. When I opened them my eyes were bright. Images of Skye started to flash quickly. I saw her going from the cafe, into an apartment building, the room number, and...Lydon?
When I was done I put my sunglasses on. I looked at May.
"I know where she is...and I don't think either of us is going to like it." I said.

Me and May got to the apartment building. I teleport us into the right one. We ended up being behind a door, the living room behind us. There was movement coming from inside the room.
"Making any progress on that?" A voice asked. A man
"I'm digging, but your little stunt is gonna make it harder." another voice said.
A voice I knew to well. Skye's. Me and May shared a glance at each other. I can't believe it. Skye is here, and from my guess she's with Lydon. I hear Skye sigh.
"Where's my top?" Skye asked.
Oh and she slept with him. That just makes things 100x perfect.
"You know, I could be helping you. If you send me ciphertext, I could be working on algorithms--"
"No, I can't contact you. I never should have. There's a SHIELD team looking for you right now. My team. And if they suspect something, I'm screwed."
"There's a joke here that I'm resisting that involves the word "screwed"."
"Shut up. There's a guy in trouble because of you, and I got to get back. You wanna help me, help me find my clothes."
I close my eyes and block out any noise. I just can't. I can't believe it, I don't want too. It's like get smacked in face and punched in the gut. May was right. I watch May bend down and grab something off the floor. It's Skye's shirt. I take off my sunglasses and put them in my shirt. I feel a hand in my arm and look at May. She puts a finger up to her ear.
"...working in the belly of the beast." I hear as I continue to listen to the conversation.
"Surprisingly...unbeasty. I've got good people I'm working with. Especially this one girl."
"Some good stories though, I hope?"
Skye chuckles.
"Miles. You have no idea. But that's classified."
"You did not just say that to me. Come on you got to tell me something."
"Someday."
"Well if they ever let you go on leave or whatever, let me know, and I'll get us a suite at the...fancy hotel that has suites, and you regale me with stories while naked."
"A suite? You? That's funny. But they're never gonna let me go on anything if I don't find my stupid..."
The door suddenly opens and Skye's there. In just pants and her bra. Her eyes go from her to me. My jaw clenched and I could feel my eyes burning bright. May holds up her shirt.
"...Top."
"Get...dressed." May says.
May hand Skye her shirt before walking into the living room. Skye watches her than looks at me but I turn my back to her. I walk towards the door.
"The teams on their way. Where are you going?" May asked.
"Outside." I said.
I grabbed the door nob and ripped open the door. Slamming it on my way out.
