Splashes of colours
Danced on the canvas,
And a dab of it,
Imprinted on your cheeks
On your cheeks again,
I see those dimples,
Which transpires
Like the ocean ripples
The same ocean I seek
Also in your eyes,
Shallow it seems,
But if you dive and see
You'll drown like me
I did drown in your charm once before
And it's harder everyday to not anymore
You did reject me back then
And I am not coming back to you
Your dimples and these ripples
Your eyes and these oceans
I can't swim in them, any long
Because the tears I shed back then,
Have now brighten into ocean shells
And your waves, it brings me
back to the shore
Perhaps,
This is where I belong
