Jin could still feel the way the jocks' heels had dug into his face. He still felt the blood trickling down from the deep gashes all over his body. Most of all, he could still see Taehyung's back growing smaller and smaller in the distance. He could still see the apologetic look on Taehyung's face, like salt in a fresh wound. The beating had continued. Jin could almost feel the resounding crack in his chest once more. The image of his own blood staining the courtyard was one Jin would never, ever forget. Even more so, he would never forget the pure rage on Namjoon's face as he saw what the jocks had done. That was a face Jin never hoped to see again.
