Storm
There's a storm outside the window.
And it calls out your name.
Thunders voice my thoughts,
As they roar in rage and despair.
I wish you could see
The things that you do to me
But every time I look at you
You hide your face as if fearful.
Lightning illuminates the sky
Setting fire to the passion
Hidden in the craters of my heart
Desperately seeking your compassion.
Look at us,
We are the orphans of the sky,
Floating around looking lost.
Safely hidden between clouds:
Soft, almost like moss.
