Clear liquid mixes with my blood stream
Transparent world is now full of rainbows.
Hazy images whorl around in a pool of mist
Crazy mind forms imaginations out of world.
Candle flame flickers with my heartbeat
Pumped up music kicks deep in my gut.
Carefree, away from the regular taunts
I'm intermingling with the sleepy eyed monsters.
Thunder and rain flash their shutters outside
My thoughts jump from one dimension to another one.
Black Panther is suiting up to save the world
And I'm thinking what an ironic twist to the African world.
Buzzing bees whisper in my ears about the past that's spent
And the future that I'm still struggling with.
Living in the present I want to forget
The double edged sword that hangs around my neck.
Choices - right or wrong, known or unknown
Knock on my door asking me to choose.
Confused and bewildered for a while, I was lost and sad
Now my mind is floating in happy clouds but still lost inside.
